Its amazing what you can do with video today and how fast and easy its to pull a key. I've used fcp for about 20 years and remember how time consuming the process was. With the blurriness you can achieve that in 2 ways. 1 is by reducing the F stop value in your camera before you shoot. And 2 is by doing that in the editing software as I showed in the video.
I use a Canon 6D camera and I use a basic 2 lighting setup in shooting my videos.
