It actually ended the way Dragon Ball Zs cell saga. The point of the cell saga was for Goku to pass the torch to the younger generation. After finding out what the future was when he died to heart disease he concluded that people relied on him too much BECAUSE he was the strongest. That’s why he stopped training for cell and pushed Gohan to be the one to take him out. He sacrificed himself vs Cell and basically passed the torch to gohan. He wanted them to be able to find their own strength in case he isn’t around anymore. The buu saga was him realizing the younger generation was basically a failure (goten, trunks, gotenks although strong had a child mentality. Played too much and fumbled the bag to take buu out. gohan stopped training, vegeta lost motivation because he had no rival etc)
I enjoyed watching this! Though I think the point is that Yuji didn’t replace Gojo. Neither in strength nor in being the pillar that Jujutsu society rests on. Gojo’s goal wasn’t to make a difference form of the strongest, it was to make “I’m the strongest” “we’re the strongest” again. diversity of strength; not just yuji’s, everybody’s. Also I think the shrine maiden is Yorozu. Sukuna said he eat his twin in the womb because his mother was malnourished. Shrine maidens most likely wouldn’t be in that situation.
Thank you for the realist approach and all the hours of work you have put in. Seeing the ideal of the story interpreted in what I think is closest to what the author had in mind is honest and amazing. Really enjoyed sharing JJK with you and will be watching in the future man. Good Job!
The dichotomy of the king of curses being the only single character to disregard his life-long curse and never acknowledge it in hope of living a self-fulfilling life till the very end is almost ironic in a way.

All valid points and everything but just kind of ignoring the fact that we basically got a whole manga worth of unanswered questions by the end of the story
@@max1matethere's a difference between allowing stuff to remain a mistery to enhance the story and not being able to actually organize your ideias properly. Jujutsu is the second one. The fact that people still don't know who Sukuna followed, if Kenjaku is really back or not, how shadow style worked before the second to last chapter, Hakari entire fight was offscreen and Uraume character never really went nowhere shows a lack of story telling and/or organization skills. People will say otherwise because they liked the feeling of reading jjk weekly but all of these elements are extremely evident on a second reading without the hype. I liked the story right until the ending, but i won't be biased and say these problems don't exist. It's like boku no hero. Despite initially being someone who believed Gege had backed out of being serious about giving JJK a realistic ending and story of “the world isn’t sunshine or rainbows”, such as when Sukuna was losing to seemingly BS pulls like Nobara surviving Idle Tranfiguration and ONLY being shown at the end, But seeing the thematic interpretations, and Sukuna’s character making a full circle, makes me see the ending in a positive light.
just a reminder, since kanjaku took backshots from jin n had yuji, with jin being related to sukuna n all, yuji was able to use the blood manipulation kenny "stole" from the kamo clan and use sukunas technique (as seen from he himself using it n yuta consuming yujis finger to obtain said technique) Even uraume implies that within yuji is a potential to become as strong as sukuna himself, and thats without him knowing of yujis blood manipulation. And this isnt even considering yujis unnerving ability to land black flashes. So not only does yuji probably exceed gojo n sukuna with his ideals, he outright physically becomes stronger than them.
15:55 that’s kind of the most human thing I guess? Like you can explain colour to a blind person as much as you want but it is kind of worthless if they are blind from birth Sukuna didn’t know a normal life so he understood it but he never could accept it in comparison to his beliefs
my shitty uraume head cannon was just that he was the twin sukuna ate in the womb. At at least some sort of weird representation of it to him. Even like he doesn't know that urame is that its just some weird guilt manifestation. Someone with more interest in jjk lore will call me dumb but actuality im a genious
this ending wasnt bad at all, there were just some iffy plot decisions but it still follows the overall themes and structure of the story. hopefully gege will make a sequel for jjk but with more freedom from his editors
This is the type of literacy i was looking for. The ending got so much flak from people who never cared to look deeper into the story. JJK is a battle shounen sure, but it's way more than that. I too would have loved to spend more time with these characters but what we got is already great. Personally, I really like the idea of a sequel that is mostly detached from the main cast.
Tbh, I don’t have an issue with the ending I do just wish I could spend more time in the JJK verse. Would be cool to see the next stage for the characters. Also do wish there was a bit of more explanation on other things. But the themes and messaging behind the characters and conversations are very on point!! They ended the previous cycle and bring a new age. So many parallels between the generations that comes full circle.
Someone talked about it but you can see it when u put the puzzle together yujis mudra helps to see it if you look up its meaning he basically gives the person a chance at mercy but the condition Is that if they reject that he seems to get a buff which is why he tried to change sukunas Perspective because as he said he values all life and thinks all deserve a chance and to see true value in life and he knew sukuna would reject it and still warned him to give up or he will gain the power to kill him easily it's pretty cool and fits his character
Honestly, her fight with brothers might influence a domain. If you think about it, she could essential merge soul essence into her own body. And repel any damage she takes to them. She becomes the strawdoll, and doesn’t get inflicted damage. Similar to how Hidan in Naruto works
Ok but. Sukuna origin story paralleling Yujis in the opposite way. As a child who can’t help but do evil things to survive only to eventually give up on trying to be selfless for the sake of it.
Jeez (somehow i decided that i should watch the ending prior to reading chpt 90) the ending is barely substantial, but the morals amd reminisces from here give me that Lelouch vibe, because theres a lot of reading in between the lines ig? So it looks like i probably should continue reading on the manga, i cant exactly deduce what happened between chpt 89 and here just by reading the ending(unless anyone wants to spoil it for me😅?)
I really hope JJK continues, just with a different cast, lije Jojo has done, kinda, since JJK already had another story told previously, albeit shorter, from yuta, keep the world connected, a possibility of the new protagonist interacting with the old ones, this keep the story from the absurd power scaling some animes have, even though pure strenght and power can be part of the system,.

The anime can do what the Bleach TYBW did and add scenes that weren’t in the manga to give further context
Your music selection is top notch
LOTR also was left with an open ending
the final days were not put in the book and morgoth is still alive in the void yet everyone loves LOTR
people will appreciate JJK more in the future
Excellent breakdown! The Yuji Envoy part is genius. It was already top 5 boss-gauntlets in anime (imo) but that goes to elevate the fight for me
It actually ended the way Dragon Ball Zs cell saga.
Hah, puts more perspective on Sukuna's remains as Tengen's replacement. Thought it was merely Sukuna getting the Ywach treatment.
I'm glad Jujutus Kaisen came into my life. I found a new reason.
same but def ngl lame ending after Gojo died it was just lame plot armor killed sukuna because of yuji and they did some lame chapters.
Thank you for the realist approach and all the hours of work you have put in. Seeing the ideal of the story interpreted in what I think is closest to what the author had in mind is honest and amazing. Really enjoyed sharing JJK with you and will be watching in the future man. Good Job!
1st video I've seen from you and one of the best narrative analyses of JJK on TH-cam.
subbed and liked.
Excellent video hundred. I hope this is the beginning of a long re-analysis of Jujutsu Kaisen
The dichotomy of the king of curses being the only single character to disregard his life-long curse and never acknowledge it in hope of living a self-fulfilling life till the very end is almost ironic in a way.
I been watching your channel since the build up to the fight between sukuna vs gojo. Your analyses have given me a depth to this series I probably would’ve never fully grasped without these videos. Excellent work man, very excited to see what you do in the future.
All valid points and everything but just kind of ignoring the fact that we basically got a whole manga worth of unanswered questions by the end of the story
why should every question be answered? not like anyone expects that out of life.
@@darthrevan454 actually that’s exactly what a story can be. It can feel like it can happen whether the viewer is there to see it or not.
I loved the story at the start, but the quality of the writing went downhill after a while and on a second reading you can notice a very abrupt change in writing style.
@@darthrevan454that's the whole concept of the chekhov's gun. If you bring something up it must have a purpose. Even if it is for a plot twist or just to enhance the story telling instead of being for practical use for a character, it MUST be used.
@@AntonioFelipePitta Chekovs gun is not a rule of fiction but a trope of it. It can be a strong tool for a story but it's not a requirement. Not everything said in a story is meant to be explored or brought to the forefront, somethings do exist as accessories to the narrative
If people think this is a bad ending show them the prison school ending 😂😂😂.
Didn't they just escape and join normal school or som like that?
I have to admit your analysis has caused me to view the last portion of the manga with a new eye i was definitely was on the copium of Gojo coming back so I had extreme tunnel vision. However, your analysis has left me feeling satisfied with the ending now. Thanx
10:50 The Moment sukuna did the vegeta pose, he had already lost.
I absolutely adore this analysis, sure some things appeared weird to my eyes but I feel like the hate train had been kinda going on for the sake of the trend than actual in-depth analysis. It's always interesting to see different POVs of an ending
Imagine the criminal in the final chapter will be actually the main protagonist of another JJK story
Damn Roxas Theme is hard af. Ngl
I think people tend to put way too much importance on the ending. The ride was so good that as long as the ending doesnt actively ruin the story, im cool with it
A bottle of soda is good but without the cap it becomes flat,
Yes the series as a whole was good but the ending just puts a sour taste in your mouth,
@@crappyPatty235 depends on how you interpret the ending.
@@TeenWithACarrotIDK it's the same with a flat soda, in the end the majority think it's azz, and it is azz despite a few people liking it,
It wasn't the worst, but bottom of mid tier is the absolute best you can give it,
@@TeenWithACarrotIDKa story not to be interpreted that's the problem with this community. If he had any writing skill the manga wouldn't be up to me and you to figure out. He would write it in a way people would go ok this is what Gege ment and that's it. Leaving things up to interpretation isn't good writing, it shows he's not good enough at explain himself for you to get it so he leaves up to you to decide what you want to interpret. Gege stinks

The true Jujutsu was the Kaisen we made along the way
What the core of curse energy or what the beginning of curse energy... what a story
Despite initially being someone who believed Gege had backed out of being serious about giving JJK a realistic ending and story of “the world isn’t sunshine or rainbows”, such as when Sukuna was losing to seemingly BS pulls like Nobara surviving Idle Tranfiguration and ONLY being shown at the end,
But seeing the thematic interpretations, and Sukuna’s character making a full circle, makes me see the ending in a positive light.
Thank you for this. Truly highlights why I feel good about the ending of JJK.
just a reminder, since kanjaku took backshots from jin n had yuji, with jin being related to sukuna n all, yuji was able to use the blood manipulation kenny "stole" from the kamo clan and use sukunas technique (as seen from he himself using it n yuta consuming yujis finger to obtain said technique) Even uraume implies that within yuji is a potential to become as strong as sukuna himself, and thats without him knowing of yujis blood manipulation. And this isnt even considering yujis unnerving ability to land black flashes. So not only does yuji probably exceed gojo n sukuna with his ideals, he outright physically becomes stronger than them.
amazing video, thanks
Duuuuuude i did not put together the link u made between kusakabe v sukuna and his ending
Been waiting on this one
The problem is they wrapped up all these concepts within a couple of chapters
"Somebody should've told me that it'll be like this, be like this, false prophet"
15:55 that’s kind of the most human thing I guess?
Like you can explain colour to a blind person as much as you want but it is kind of worthless if they are blind from birth
Sukuna didn’t know a normal life so he understood it but he never could accept it in comparison to his beliefs
my shitty uraume head cannon was just that he was the twin sukuna ate in the womb. At at least some sort of weird representation of it to him. Even like he doesn't know that urame is that its just some weird guilt manifestation. Someone with more interest in jjk lore will call me dumb but actuality im a genious
Banger as always Hundred!!!!!!!
Kashimo 😢

Im glad Jujutsu kaisen is finished all the students have finally gotten a better life and i hope history won't repeat itself
this ending wasnt bad at all, there were just some iffy plot decisions but it still follows the overall themes and structure of the story. hopefully gege will make a sequel for jjk but with more freedom from his editors
I don’t think people missed it, they just don’t care. Regardless of how well written it could be, it didn’t end the way they wanted
member gang
This is the type of literacy i was looking for. The ending got so much flak from people who never cared to look deeper into the story. JJK is a battle shounen sure, but it's way more than that. I too would have loved to spend more time with these characters but what we got is already great. Personally, I really like the idea of a sequel that is mostly detached from the main cast.
what is the ost at 5:07??
God, I love Jujutsu Kaisen
Great video.
I think a lotta people will find JJK much better on a binge read, without Twitter telling you sucks.
Also to remember the creators view is what u must see not enforce your own and get mad when u don't get your way buy your right too
@animelover12261 That's another big one. The amount of people who were mad that Gojo lost is wild, what did they expect?
But what does his domain expansion even do😭
Domain Expansion: Family time
@@RustyPancake53PLOT ARMOR
Someone talked about it but you can see it when u put the puzzle together yujis mudra helps to see it if you look up its meaning he basically gives the person a chance at mercy but the condition Is that if they reject that he seems to get a buff which is why he tried to change sukunas Perspective because as he said he values all life and thinks all deserve a chance and to see true value in life and he knew sukuna would reject it and still warned him to give up or he will gain the power to kill him easily it's pretty cool and fits his character
did I hear...the bells of chaos from drakengard 1?
if nobara unlocked her domain expansion, do you guys think it would be imbued with resonance or hairpin.
Shenanigans… in jujutsu.

Gegending Kaisen Unlocked
Wow ok that shi was beautiful
Jeez (somehow i decided that i should watch the ending prior to reading chpt 90) the ending is barely substantial, but the morals amd reminisces from here give me that Lelouch vibe, because theres a lot of reading in between the lines ig? So it looks like i probably should continue reading on the manga, i cant exactly deduce what happened between chpt 89 and here just by reading the ending(unless anyone wants to spoil it for me😅?)
Why did I just a get from hundred and it was just him talking about jjk. He's making moves
He did some gojou couldn't do and that was free megumi
GOJO MY GLORIOUS MAGNIFICENT BLUE-EYED KING
NOOOO IT CAN'T BE!!! (18:46)
Analysing final jjk chapter , Dog.....
it still feels rushed.
Gege is the fucking goat and thank u for doing the deep dive
w hundred ever since the start
I think when people reread the whole thing from the beginning they'll see how trash their takes were. How many times you've said this along the way I can't even count. Your faith in Gege has been unwavering and Gege needs a Hundred tattoo. Thanks for all of your reviews and your breakdowns. Can't wait to see what you do next.
It’s either the ending is ass
Or the ending is immaculate
at least jjk taught me what kind of girls i like 🤙🤙🍑

You're so real for that
It almost makes me want to shed a tear that people can understand how crazy good Gege delivered his message and how many people really do show how shallow thier consumption brains handled it. You sir I salute. You described this whole series wrap up beautifully
Yeah a lot of stuff people complain about “or don’t see” was deff shown throughout the series. One of the biggest ones is how almost no one has a funeral in the series. That was addressed during the hidden inventory/premature death arc. It was apart of Geto’s whole issue.

Nah fam. It wasn't a great ending. Twasn't bad either. It was just mediocre. And many perceive it that was cos of the last few chapters and especially how Sukuna was defeated and the many unexplored themes instead we got "closures" of things most were not particularly interested in.

@@youfellowceltor5587no it's not it's as incoherent, as the story been since yuki was introduced and removed in 3 chapters. His writing is implosive, he's not planning this out, he has ideas plays with them a little bit and throws them away like a toddler with a new toy. This story doesn't need over complicated plot explanations from hundred who just coping his favorite manga is over. He has a child like disobedience for anybody who has a criticism for this awful writer. He told us to let him cook and he still can't admit he's wrong. Bro it's not perfect I agree that it's lacking alot of missing stuff but the explanation is right even with my anger to things missing and how fast it was done it was still great in many forms and all the ones he mentioned I saw as well and it was still touching and very well put together when you connect everything gege wrote throught out the beginning till the end it was truly impressive how well he put all together simply I was disappointed with the lack of stuff missing but it's not as bad as others say people just had their own poopy expectations and when they did not get their way they cry starting with gojo no one cared about gege actual intent, teaching, or world they just want gojo and missed the whole point of gojos character and how he was tired and wanted to go gege through it at us when he made gojo say forget about me and proceeded to tell yuji that he's axchild for not moving on many could tell it was not just a nice convo with yuji but gege attacking us who want things our way
i mean.. i guess
not that the big merger was that interesting but its so empty
I don't understand why you keep saying "yuji replaced gojo" as the strongest in strength or philosophy or otherwise. Is this a bias thing? There's nothing unique about yuji or his compassion/philosophy that's not found in other characters (eg yuta, kusakabe, [maybe] miwa and etc).
Also, yuji isn't the GOAT in "suffering". Despite not following them as closely as yuji (since he's MC), there are other characters who's suffering trumps yuji (eg Maki, megumi and even gojo)
Yuji has easily suffered the most in jjk apart from maybe megumi. This isnt a debate lmao
Jjk was special
