We have it better in a lot of ways, and worse in a lot of ways. The key is to always find gratitude. You have the right idea. Much love!
Becoming a part of someone else's plan is no fun

Lifestyle of Victorian Policeman was particularly harsh and the pay was poor about the same as a Farm Labourer, well through it was better in some City Forces.
Have heard that the gap in wealth between the classes wasn't as great as it is today. Wondering if there's any veracity to that
It's because today there's more wealth than ever before but it's stripped from the regular folk and concentrated on the top 0.1% of the world. Back then wealth disparity was comparatively less because everyone had less wealth as today the average white collar worker can enjoy leisures an old medieval king couldn't dream of.
I wouldn’t survive. No deodorant, no WiFi, count me out 😒😂!

The ordinary peasant was not well educated they would not be expected to know the lords prayer apostles creed and hail Mary in Latin
Of course you had to learn the prayers in Latin. There was literally no choice by this point, CE.
