Mountain Lake Camping | FAILED 3 Peaks

After a year and a half of planning, the adventure was over before it began! Refusing to give up a free weekend just because of a busted knee we headed to Pen Yr Ole Wen for a much more relaxing adventure.
Knowing the area fairly well from Day 3 of the Welsh 3000 (click here • Welsh 3000 - Day 3 - C... to see it the mountain from the top!) I thought I could do the 45 minute walk half way up to a lake. An hour and half later, I began to really miss my ACL (suspected tear).
One of the most painful adventures I've had but wouldn't change a second of it! Big thanks to the guys for helping me get out on adventure... could've done without the abuse but was worth it.
