You say your not a welder by trade, well your work is superb. That chassis section will be stronger than the factory original. Best wishes from a rainy wet England. 😊
You are the number one welder, great to see young felahs like you restoring old timers. l got a motor for that car l selling here in Au,struggling to sell it because there is not many 1960s Mustangs here. Recently l bought a plasma cutter and that makes light work cutting chassis frames, you just got have a steady hand and cutting guides.
Boy for not being a welder those welds look pretty good. Love the artwork she did a very nice job on those! That upgraded suspension will serve you well hopefully. That’s gonna be a sweet stand when done. Keep up the great work.
I'm not a welder by trade either, but I can tell you that those beads look better than any that I ever laid down. You have a very awesome girlfriend. She has a good eye for art.
Good welding. What is the welder you’re using? I also like to do a bit, then wait. A bit is to let the work cool, but more importantly, I’m trying to keep within the duty cycle of my welder. Many only have a 30% duty cycle, so you should only weld 3 minutes out of every 10. I’m enjoying this series.
You did okay with the last name.....I hope you didn't hurt yourself. This may help.................War-ka-vitch. You lay down a nice bead of weld.........I'm most certainly not an expert. Are we going to get a review of Big Red?
2 questions !...what is that on your chin ?...angel fluff cake?...and you do know that is a wood work chisel?...Love your work, both here and with that other Nut case! 😁❤
doing the same thing on my 70 .thinking down the road a bit what are you plans for hooking up the steering shaft from the column to the rack n peanut steering gear.
do you ever find whenever your doing a job you go darn I wish I had that tool. You know when your laying on your back welding and in the back of your mind your thinking one day one day I'll own me a Rotisserie
Hello from Belgium. Remark : you are holding the chissel the wrong way. Always hold the flat side to the metal that has to be removed. You way has the chance you cut into the good metal . My 2 eurocents.
Just my "unprofessional opinion" but I'd use a better chisel because it looks like ur using a wooden chisel . You'd be surprised a difference it makes but like I said I'm no professional at all only my opinion . Progress looks great tho , great job !
Says, "I'm not a welder... don't make fun of my welds.." Then proceeds to lay down super clean beads!! Nicely done Angel!!
Much appreciated! Thanks!
My grandfather would compliment those welds. There is no higher praise. Great project!👍
Thats one hell of a compliment! Thanks a lot Bob!
Anything worth doing, is worth doing right. Your efforts are meeting that worth. Classy, my man.
Well said Nik!
You say your not a welder by trade, well your work is superb. That chassis section will be stronger than the factory original. Best wishes from a rainy wet England. 😊

Seeing you use cutting oil to save the bit when drilling out those spot welds made my day.

do you ever find whenever your doing a job you go darn I wish I had that tool. You know when your laying on your back welding and in the back of your mind your thinking one day one day I'll own me a Rotisserie

How do you get time to do all this while working with Sarah!!! Keep it coming man
Sometimes im a night owl 🦉 thanks Garry!
I was thinking (too late) if it was me I would have drilled a number of1/4 " holes along the flats and welded some rosettes
What kit is that? Manufacturer?
Mustang II IFS Kit by speedway! I have a full unboxing on the channel

Great question! Ive been trying to reach the new owner but he does not respond 😤

Thanks! Those are my “beater” chisels. But someone sent us a really good pair of sheet metal ones we will be using!
