It’s funny how people are complaining that she cut her hair. When I started watching Mel, I would wish she would talk about styling shorter hair. I’ve always loved her platform.

I absolutely love that you cut your hair. It shows how versatile curly hair can be and helps those who are starting their curly hair journey with shorter hair how they can style and appreciate it. You cutting your hair and embracing the bob is just showing us how many shapes and lengths curly hair can be worn and loved in and I think it was the perfect decision and broadened your channels scope. I also think it has challenged your viewers to get out of the 'long, curly hair" mindset and realize that it's beautiful, desirable, and most of all, manageable, in all its forms.

Your nails look great and I understand the urge to keep them all the time. I had strong, health nails and got shellac done and fell in love with the look, so kept getting them done. Fast forward a few months, and my natural nails were ruined. My strong and healthy nails became very weak, fragile, thin and peeling. It took a few months for them to recover and I am back to natural nails. Yes shellac nails look awesome, but proceed with caution.

Hi Mel (waving atcha) ~ is there a more affordable hair dryer you may recommend? Is it possible/ plausible to do a vid comparing "this or that" hair dryers? I would .love. to have a Dyson (either the Dryer or Air Wrap w diffuser) but what should be coins in my pockets turns out to be lint ...lol. Seriously, cost of meds alone ruptures my budget. There's Shark and also lots of interesting Dyson "knock offs". If you're not in a position to compare or do products reviews
(?sponsorship?), can you address what we curly-/coily-hair gals n guys ought to look for when choosing a hair dryer? That criteria would be immensely helpful!

I went to cut my hair just a trim and the hair dresser lied that she knew about curly hair and cut it way too short. It happened so quickly and knew immediately what happened. I was so depressed and then realized you know what a curly bob is cute. I looked rather adult lol as well and then a month late rI see my favorite curlies including Mel sporting a bob ❤❤❤❤❤ Just waiting for Amanda to joint the club

We sleep w ac and fans on and even still suddenly when it got cold (ohio) ab a week ago - i just woke up almost imovable. Stiff. Again (not because of my heel spur this time 😂). And its been ba k shoulders hip pain ever since. Daily.

I hate to fork over, over 500 euro, for a Dyson blow dryer, but that "diffuser on a stick" has me going, "I want!" I wish they would dupe this, and pretty soon too, because it's so easy to diffuse your hair! That an excruciatingly expensive brand had to come up with this first, is beyond me!
I think Shark has a similar design for a cheaper price.

I want to see you use a dryer that costs less than $200. Preferably less than $100, but I know better than to think that will ever happen. I CANNOT justify spending that much money on a hair dryer, or even an "air styler."
The Laifen dryer is VERY similar to the dyson, and less than $150 on Amazon.

I asked for my Shark hair dryer for Christmas last year!
I prefer the Curlsmith, it's still expensive (not dyson level) but it uses a giant diffuser to speed up drying time.

Two things! 1: do any, if so which, of the products replace heat protectant, given you used your diffuser on the high setting? 2: JVN does not use he/him pronouns. Honestly not sure if it's she/they or they/them so not gonna swear to what pronouns but it's not he/him. Please check up on that so you don't continue to misgender JVN.
