Man I will keep my 2021 N line. Im weird man, Im big on the whole sports plus and sports mode. Plus the changing of the graphics. Idk this looks good but nothing has changed internally. Now the back of this car is clean. I do like that. I will keep my 2021 N line.
Unlike some YT reviewers that just throttled it full yolo at every stoplight, it seemed you avoided it except while launching. How much did you have to baby the throttle to avoid wheelslip for initial acceleration? It seems okay for daily driving+spirited highway driving though.
Looks dope, currently leasing a ‘23 NLine and considering the GV80 Sport next, but that ‘24 (Transmission Blue Pearl) has my attention as well; just wished it had some of the features other markets have (heated steering wheel, memory seats, cooled seats, power mirrors) but all-in-all its value proposition can’t be beat. - ‘ppreciate your review. 🔥
Great review. Highly disappointed that the N-line is leaving out so many features. They should have followed Kia with their K5 gt and allowed for an optional package to include ventilated seats, folding mirrors, 360 degree camera. How did they even leave out rear vents? The refreshed N-line is a great looking car, but I will pass and buy the incoming 2025 K5 for those reasons.
Was kinda hoping the 2024 would contain some of the tech features missing from the 2021, that Canada gets but we don't. Like the blind spot cameras. Especially considering the price increase. I do like that physical shortcut buttons were brought back for the infotainment controls. My biggest gripe with my 2021. I like the sportier styling inside vs 2021, and the exhaust is louder and throatier.
The N line should be the top trim with all the features, disappointed they took out the rear vents for the US verison. 360 camera should be included as well. Would love AWD to be included in thr N line that would kf definitely sold me. Solid car though. Does it have power folding mirrors? And what are the interior color choices for the N line?
Like I said in my review I wish they had a limited package like the last gen with a 2.0t in sport + limited trims. Most likely boils down to keeping the price down.
They’d happily make one if enough people were willing to drop 40-45K. Oh right you wouldn’t and neither would 98% of the population. As a result we are stuck with just a well equipped FWD 2.5T version
Great review I have Tucson 23 limited. All my family have Hyundai. Question. I see when u use the turn signal don’t have camera that’s correct? Because I love that feature.
They really should give us the same spec that South Korea and Australia get. As you said, basically all the other things that are on the Limited. They need to come up with a sportier, common steering wheel for N-Line trims. A nice, flat bottom wheel. I don’t like this steering wheel. It’s honestly keeping me from seriously considering the car. Just doesn’t go with the sporty vibe they’re otherwise accomplishing here.
Yeah some other reviewers also noticed it does put the power down a little better than previous years. Could be different tires or traction control being less aggressive.
@@chrismac2298 Yeah whatever they did got it to less than 5 seconds 0-60. I drove the previous years sonata nline a few times, and it wasn't this quick and spun almost a lot.
An item of note for anybody considering the Sonata N Line; it no longer has the Homelink garage door opener, available on the outgoing model....Additionally, minor scratches to the 'matte' paint finish, are not easily repaired; a labor intensive repair.
The matte finish is really great and awesome looking but I told myself not to get it because currently I have an accord 2 L turbo in black and I swear I would never get black again because I hate seeing all the little blemishes and slight scratches. At least with a normal paint you can fix them but I heard Matt finish is, a disaster if you’re someone who’s a little more anal about the way the car looks and the paint
@@Brayant25there is only one N Line trim. There is no lower or upper. You have the Sel, N Line, and Limited with the Limited having the vents. I'm betting that's what you meant though.
I noticed you turned off the speed warning bell but did not say that it can't be turned off permanently. That one thing will keep me from buying the car.
Dont get caught up on the horsepower folks. I test drove this car and saw firsthand how hyundai cut corners to produce this car. Even the salesman agreed with me . Still don't get why hyundai didn't put all the wheel drive on the n line and passenger back seats vents. But did it on the regular limited should have had both 2.5 engine and all wheel drive it would be better than the other two leaders, honda and toyota, but it was still it nice upgrade interior and exterior
Great review Chris ! Drove a 2023 yesterday that had 8000 miles & was a dealer demo & liked everything but the dual clutch transmission.. Experienced vibration & shuddering from the 8 speed dual clutch slowing down from highway speeds.Almost seemed to be lugging. Did you notice this as it seems to be a dual clutch issue all over utube. Dealer says it's normal but it It stops me from ordering a 2024. If you drove a 2023 before did it do this? Thanks again.Terry in Canada.
That’s normal all dct aren’t smooth at lower speed they excel at driving feel yes but as a daily if you want something smooth a traditional auto would be better I have the 23nline I personally don’t mind
To me I only find it had lag at slow speeds other than that it’s not bad. Also I have a Veloster N 8 speed DCT with the same transmission and it’s not lurching. Working at a Hyundai dealer I’ve seen a 4-5 8 speed DCTs get replaced if the issue continues have them check it out.
i think if i was looking for a performance car i can throw around with ease id go with the Elantra N. this is a cool car, but it is a big sedan, and the suspension/ chassis isn't nearly as good as the Elantra N.

2023 Hyundai Sonata N-Line has A/C in the back. so Hyundai removed that for the 2024 refresh? What the hell?
They really dropped the ball on all the features they left out.
Rear air vents, rear heated seats, front ventilation seat, 360 camera.
Like I said I wish Hyundai offered the limited package with this motor. Seems like they want to keep pricing lower than a limited n line being $40k+

You have to opt for the G70 if you want the 2.5T AWD..
