fun fact, a widow can absolutely dominate a game and get called a hacker by the opposing team but your team does not notice you even exist. her stats are in general much lower than other dpses because she does not need alot of kills/damage to dominate. I have games where I have 60% acc, 60% crit accuracy but only half the damage of the tank and the same amount of kills. the diff is that all my kills are oneshots and solo kills while my tank racks up damage and assists. so they believe they carry the game although the widow is borderline hacking. thats where that bias comes from

Doom is tragically bad It’s always funny to watch a Doom dive in like he’s gonna do something, and then just see the whole team nuke him with damage, and his body just goes limp Whether he’s on my team or the enemy team, it’s entertaining as hell
Sombra 100% is the MOST hated character for me. She destroys the casual scene so hard and makes the game genuinely unfun and unplayable. I miss old OW1 not really because I think 6v6 is better, but because Sombra didn't exist and the game actually felt fun.
Honestly, I think the early rework of Sombra in Overwatch "2" was acceptable, her hack stuns for only half of second, so it was possible to predict and counter the hack. Now the hack disables you completely for almost 2 seconds (and it was even longer in 6v6), that is bullshit, way too much value by just holding a button on auto-aim. EMP remains as strong as ever and Sombra can easily target EMP on the whole enemy team because she is invisible forever, etc.. Marvel Rivals should look at characters like Sombra, Junkrat, Moira, Reaper, Mercy, Rein, Mauga... goddamn, there's so many lol the entry level characters should NEVER overperform. Games like these who follow the Team Fortress formula, they should balance the game by adjusting the high skilled characters first, then everything else later. If Soldier or Punisher are not good enough to survive in higher ranks, so be it, it is what it is. The player who learned the basics with Soldier76 or Punisher, they are ready to move on to something more complex and impactful, but if you make them "viable", rewarding low skill forever, that only leads to frustration. The brain dead should not be rewarded, period.

Ram because he can put so much pressure that she has to use both her bubbles immediatly and then she has nothing left. With rein u can block her beam with ur shield (forgot to mention u can also use ram’s shield) . If your team gets trapped in her ult u can use your shield to protect ur whole team. And I personally feel that rein’s charge does a lot to zarya. I dont know why but pinning a zarya to a wall and just hammering her works really well.
@@scumknight6074 i think it's entirely about how people get a huge ego over playing a low skill, low reward hero and getting a high kill count with her. in spite of how most of them are just holding forwards and chasing already low enemy players. definitely a lower rank issue, though. she drops off a decent chunk in diamond due to boldly taking duels in a rank where people have just begun learning how to aim and being, subsequently, eviscerated from history as if she were never even part of the game in the first place.
it also takes a team that wants to win willing to counter pick the widow. love playing against a decent widow on havana, circuit, and junkertown is still oppressive.

As someone who mained Pharah back in the day, the only people I knew who hated her just sucked because imo she’s the easiest hero to counter (keep in mind the people I played with were mostly hitscan mains)

Mauga is not even close to Hog. Mauga cannot one shot you once you reach his line off sight, but Hog does that all the time. (Bad positioning/skill issue obviously, not the character being broken)
Mauga is immortal while Hog is both immortal and a walking Thanos. Seriously, a Hog alone in a room vs a Nanoboosted, damage amped Reaper has more chance to kill him than the Reaper has.
I think that it’s just that Mauga doesn’t need as much of an explanation. Or maybe he need his own video. But at this point yea everyone knows nobody likes to play against him.

The tf2 sniper is a lot worse than widow by a lot, he literally changes the entire game Ow have shields, mobility abilities and a lot of characters which can flank widow but.. sniper..? Only scout in most cases, no shields.. most maps are open fields so..
The worst thing about Sombra now is not her insane burst, not her ridiculously effective escape mechanic, but rather, her insane pick-rate. Im praying Blizzard reverts her back so she becomes a niche pick again.
She’s literally one of the worst preforming and least picked characters in the game rn, she’s only picked a good amount in gold and plat but that’s exclusively because the people there aren’t good enough to exploit her major weaknesses
@@greenpig1175 Where are you getting these statistics from? If they’re from overbuff, they’re not very reliable anymore due to most people having private profiles. Plus most of the player base are either, quick play players or in gold and plat, so that’s why she’s a big problem.

I don’t want to hop on to the game to find Sombra wrecking me when I play a squishy because she has insane burst damage, with little skill or aiming required. Honestly, who even thought of making Sombra have the ability to turn INVISIBLE!?!? Plus she's the ONLY ONE to do so!!! That's what makes her SOOOO hated by many that I even questioned the developers and wanted her to be removed from the game.

Anytime a multiplayer game introduces a character who can actively disable the main things your character can do, especially moment abilities, is NEVER fun to play against. I will never understand how they don’t understand this with Sombra.

Being targeted by sombra feels like a never ending pain, it's not the teleport as you can get used to that pattern, but if she's right behind you and hacks you, you've already lost. I often play soldier and my first reflex in a 1v1 situation is his abilities.

Hog and mauga is 50/50 and since the last mega buff its more like 70/30. Mauga waste his e and is forced to play for cover or hog will hook and blast him as always.
That's odd, maybe there have been some balance changes but I found DVA the easiest to kill since she is large enough to shoot with both guns. Oddly Junker Queen can fair decently well with the knife at long range and the smaller hitbox that can get up close and around Mauga, not sure if that works on PC though with the faster turn.
Sombra, Zarya, Venture, Soldier, Pharah, Kiriko, Moira, Illari, Orisa, and Ball. I Hate these heroes, and I think the most problematic one is SOMBRA! SOMEONE NEEDS TO DELETE HER AND GIVE HER A REWORK! She does so much while having so little skill. Plus her translocater is a get out of jail free card with a 5 SECOND COOLDOWN!!! Hack and Virus is super easy to land, plus she has the same amount of health as everyone else and not say tracer. She needs to be a glass cannon if she's gonna do all this stuff. So if I'm gonna rework her, I'd go with nerfing her translocater to 8 or 10 seconds, so she can manage her escapes better, and nerf her invis to were it takes longer after translocating. Everything else she can keep. Also I'll give her more dmg falloff since a lot of times she can kill you from even farther ranges. Also her health will go down to 175, or if you wanna be generous, 200 flat. I want sombra to actually think when targeting people and get punished for reckless plays. She gets away with too much and she is seriously a problem.
Kiriko is so much worse suzu completly getting rid of a ton of ults her extremely high damage combined with her Tiny ass hitbox makes her a pain on the ass to 1v1 and even if Ur winning it she's just gonna teleport though 3 walls unlike sombra where you can see where she goes she also doesn't deal that much dmg alone without the virus which is hard to hit as long as she's not touching her enemies
Sombra practically forces the team to stick together so that once somebody gets hacked, that player marks her so your team knows she's there and they all go get her ..she's the most annoying because there are some characters that require an insame amount of skill to not get killed by her once she hacked you and threw her virus ..I particularly find it imposible for a Hanzo to beat a Sombra, the chances of you hitting her with such a tiny hitbox while you wait until your storm bow to be ready are ridiculous ..there's like 3 or 4 other characters that struggle as much as Hanzo against a Sombra
@@c00lNiNjAA26 in my ranks a fight between a hanzo and a sobra is preety even as they tend to react to the hack instead of just ignoring whatever happens around them and dying so in the end there's a solid chance the hanzo will use his storm arrows and spam you down before you can react or just charge up and hit your head with his hard to miss projectiles
Here’s my experience with what was listed: Widow: There’s almost always a player who insta-locks Widow (usually on my team), in 80%+ of my QP matches, and they aren’t getting a single kill for several minutes, while also somehow dying first just about every fight (with or without the presence of a dive opponent). I see Widow far too often, and she is too much famine with too little feast, and since I’ve seen her as often as I have, she’s become beyond boring to play with or against. Although, I would gladly fight against her instead of an Ashe, Bastion, or Pharah+Mercy. Roadhog: While his healing ability is easily enabled by supports and how his self-heal is on a meter that can be accessible repeatedly, he’s still a shell of his former self despite having a very large and easily maintainable health pool. It doesn’t feel like he has the same consistency with being able to one-shot, and his widows of opportunity to one-shot are less frequent, given how OW2 is paced, how the health pools have changed, and some damage is more frequent. I’d rather face a Roadhog than a Mauga or Doomfist, certainly. Sombra: It just feels like Sombra players are built ONLY for applying Hack, using Virus, and then unloading their entire clip into 1 target of interest, which leads to either a kill, or them throwing their translocator and cloaking away if they can’t get the kill. It’s predictable, boring, and only slightly annoying unless you/your team are potatoes who don’t defend themselves or know their surroundings. Again though, I’d rather a Sombra on my team being a distraction/annoyance than a Widow getting nothing done, or conversely, I’d rather the enemy team have a Sombra not necessarily getting picks every time she does her ability cycle than get mowed down by some more offensive Damage character or enemy combo. Kiriko: I agree how she’s favored too much by the devs, and I dislike how she’s pretty much gospel of a support character due to her ability to cleanse/essentially give i-frames to her team. The whole idea of “you should go Kiriko/switch to Kiriko” solely due to having access to her cleanse and i-frames is discouraging to having variety in matches and discourages playing/learning the rest of the cast. I honestly think Kiriko is defined exclusively by her ability to cleanse, and if she didn’t have cleanse, she’d be pretty much a nobody. Doomfist: Completely agree that they’re egotistical, which I think comes from the skill-floor and ceiling Doom has. Yet above this, I think a fair amount of Doomfist players aren’t happy with no longer having Rising Uppercut and being able to cheese people with needless “zero-to-death”-like combos; the amount of OW1 Doom players slamming their keyboards/controllers and using every single ability every chance they got to stun lock people to death was a massive and repetitive problem. I’ll take tank Doomfist over DPS Doomfist any day of the week. I know there’s a lot of potential with him, but I think it’s harder for Doom players to reach his full potential, which further adds onto their ego when they get to actually dominate or when they get put in their place and can’t carry. Overall, I think Mauga is more problematic than all of these characters since he’s pretty much the poster-boy for the rampant counter-swamping that keeps affecting the game, as well the ultimate example of being nobody without one ability (in his case, Cardiac Overdrive). The fact players think, “Oh, the enemy has a Mauga, time to go Mauga” as often as they do demonstrates how unhealthy and disproportionate he is compared to every other Tank and how Tanks in general are in an awful spot in the game.
For your widow complaint, why does it matter if they go widow when its QP? Literally qp is suppose to be the fun mode where you test different characters out, and learn new characters. If it was comp, id understand but you specifically stated qp.
Sombra is without doubt the worst designed character of all time. Her whole point of existence is just to remove fun for other players. You want to play doom, genji or ball? Not on her watch. She needs reworked so that hack applies other de-buffs like increased damage taken or negating heals, not removing abilities.

Funny thing is that you don’t even have to do well to get insane value on Widow! Just existing restricts the enemies’ playstyle, aggression, and hero selection due to the chance of a headshot. And on some maps you can play from a range no hero besides another Widow can even interact with. She’s the only hero that can hold a lobby hostage while going 10-10.
This is why I hate her. I didn't have time to fully articulate this in the video but she ruins the game because of what you said. As soon as someone picks her, you aren't playing OW anymore.
I wish that Lifeweaver wasn’t a hated character but i understand why. He’s extremely hard to kill, he has a low skill floor, can easily deny enemy plays, and ultimately mess up ally plays even if it’s unintentional. He does a decent amount of good but that doesn’t always outweigh the bad that people see. I personally don’t really hate any characters but I don’t expect everyone to have that same mindset.
Worst by far is Widow. She fundamentally doesnt fit the game's design with the ability to instantly one shot every second. A good widow will completely ruin a game. Terrible, terrible character
Agreed. You can play flawlessly tracer or Genji against her, dont do any mistake, but she can just land you a head shot. (When Blizzard announced a patch to reduce TTK I hoped widow would be nerfed, but ironically the lowest TTK hero in the game didn't get that any higher 🥲)

I really don't think Widow is that hated anymore. I used to see GOD widows/genjis/tracers all the time in OW1, but rarely ever go against them in OW2 anymore, so rarely hear anyone ocmplain about widows. Really the only time I hear someone complain about Widow is in competitive when some guy gets tilted 2 minutes into the match and blames their Widow for not winning the first team fight. Definitely less hated than Mauga, that's for sure. EVERY game I'm in where he's on the enemy team, someone is complaining -- usually the opposing tank.
Never understood the hate Widow gets. Shes a sniper, the only one shot capability she has is if she hits the head(not counting low hp enemies) and its actually pretty difficult. Im trying to get better with her now and its difficult
The problem is explained in the video. oppressiveness. Once you reach a high enough rank or if you just get unlucky in casual, she has no counterplay other than literally never entering her line of sight or diving her, both bad options.
I like it. It makes it so that Hogs can no longer just brainlessly walk forward and heal. They’re gonna have to learn to play cover more, which is beneficial to their entire team

The most annoying character in Overwatch- Is Moira She’s draining everyone’s health threw the shields, blocks and reflectors. When she feels danger, she disappears and then waiting till she regenerate her health and go back in action. And the orbs 💀 No need to talk about them. Everyone understands how does it feel fighting Moira in enemy team.

1:47 you can… not hack her ??? There’s 0 reason to hack her just align your crosshair to her head and delete her. No one has that fast of a reaction time to stop a constant stream of damage
For what it's worth, I've only been playing this game for a week now, but Sombra is by far my most hated. She can turn invisible, so even if you realize she's behind you somewhere, it's insanely hard to counter. She can teleport, so even when you try to fight back, she just runs away. Her weapon can instantly delete any Damage/Support character before you even realize it's happening. And on top of all that, she removes all of your abilities. It's an insane cocktail of overpowered abilities, and I wish at least 1 of them was nerfed.
Sombra is my BANE. The only true counter option for her is Kiriko as her Suzu can instantly negate ambush and make her run away. Conserving Suzu for her is very important and makes it so frustrating for Sombra she may switch and at that point...Mission Complete.
The only reason I hate Sombra so much is because whenever I'm playing against her it's like she only goes after me😢 I know I main support but no matter which one I play if there is an enemy Sombra she will always Target me
I'm going to argue from the perspective of a Widow main that she's probably THE most annoying to play against overall. Her headshots can still melt the bullet sponges like Mauga and Roadhog, and those guys are slow moving with big heads, so they have to play WAY more passively. Or I just one shot everyone that isn't a tank or Bastion. Only real trouble is Sombra, and even then if I stick with my team and/or play smart I can still easily find value. To stay alive against a good Widow you need to activate your Spidey Senses and always be actively shutting her down.
Sombra is 100% the most annoying, every cooldown she has is just against others having fun. Are you nearly dying? Press E! Is someone using their abilities or even an ultimate? Hold right click! Is someone running away from you when they’re low health? Press shift! Are a lot of people using their ultimates in a team fight? Press q! Are you getting shot at? Hide behind a wall for a few seconds and you’ll go invisible! You get the idea

dude everybody has different opinions, some characters may be the most annoying to you when they’re the funniest to others. it depends on your mains and obviously you’re going to hate the counters to your favorite heroes.
Sombra should be Super SS+ tier hated. Annoying horribly designed scum of a character. Just gives too much power to trolls who don’t care about the game as much as being annoying and running away. I hate those kind of people.

I don't understand people defending Sombra in quickplays. "Oh, if you guys spycheck and just fight back it would be easy." My brother in Christ, this annoying mf can just hack, use the virus, choose not to engage you at all if the player thinks the battle is not in their favor and just run away with the annoying fly thing.
It’s mostly her presence in your backline that makes it annoying to fight against, she gains so much value by making you scan for her and be paranoid lol
Sombra is so fucking disgusting. I'm a ball player, and people hate me for that, but at least ball is one of the hardest characters with the highest skill ceilings and lowest skill floors. Sombras skill ceiling and floor are the same line. She has an undodgeable, unmissable skill remover that, based on lag, can go through walls and sustain after being shot. This hack ability also turns off medkits, which is free value with 0 risk that eliminates balls main source if healing and value. Sombra is also perma invis, has a tp, and is a damage vs a tank. By choosing sombra, you eliminate any fun, skill expression, or meaningful counterplay. Even if I cancel hack, the cooldown doesnt start until after it lands and has like a 4 second cooldown anyway.
while invis sombra is literally not in the fight (aka her value is 0 so good sombras don't even go invis that often) she can only use her tp once in a while and is an extremely easy kill without it most good balls actually get hacked on purpose before doing any meaningfull play since hacked enemies can't get hacked again I agree with the healthpack thing tho it's really fucking annoying dx it even gave her ult charge if anyone grabbed it before

In the entire history of this game, the only character I genuinely always thought should be deleted is Sombra. Who had the brilliant idea of making a character who actively ruins the gameplay of characters that make Overwatch, well, be Overwatch? I get the most fun out of characters that are nothing like normal FPS and use abilities a lot, and every single time, there’s a Sombra to counter me and ruin my fun, thanks blizzard… at least she’s a little more bearable now that she’s actually killable if you track her translocator Edit: I wrote that before watching tbh, great video! For me the most annoying are, Mauga, soldier, bastion, Moira, and kiriko: Mauga, bastion, and soldier all just hold r2 and spam till they get their alts. Moira and kiriko are just too easy to play and get insane plays for no effort. Like how Moira will have games with 17/2 with 10k heals and 15k damage.

He's easy to aim with, hard to kill bc he can heal himself, can get away with his 0 cool down sprint, and has his annoying rockets which just offers another easy way to sneak kills. Doomfist is the goat of overwatch, his gameplay/gamestyle is so different that it is amazing to have him in the game. So that people with bad aim like me can survive in this game.

Mauga hog sombra widow Symmetra top 5 most annoying no contest. Symmetra is way worse than torb cause I’m pretty sure her turrets slow you, she can just dive into the enemy team and chuck 3 turrets on top of them, and her primary fire is the cheesiest primary fire now that Mei primary fire isn’t what it once was. The other picks speak for themselves, and I honestly don’t think any supports are in contention. Kiriko is very versatile but she is in no way cheesy. She’s actually only annoying imo if a teammate picks her but can’t play her right.

fun fact, a widow can absolutely dominate a game and get called a hacker by the opposing team but your team does not notice you even exist. her stats are in general much lower than other dpses because she does not need alot of kills/damage to dominate. I have games where I have 60% acc, 60% crit accuracy but only half the damage of the tank and the same amount of kills. the diff is that all my kills are oneshots and solo kills while my tank racks up damage and assists. so they believe they carry the game although the widow is borderline hacking. thats where that bias comes from

Honestly, I think the early rework of Sombra in Overwatch "2" was acceptable, her hack stuns for only half of second, so it was possible to predict and counter the hack. Now the hack disables you completely for almost 2 seconds (and it was even longer in 6v6), that is bullshit, way too much value by just holding a button on auto-aim. EMP remains as strong as ever and Sombra can easily target EMP on the whole enemy team because she is invisible forever, etc..
Marvel Rivals should look at characters like Sombra, Junkrat, Moira, Reaper, Mercy, Rein, Mauga... goddamn, there's so many lol the entry level characters should NEVER overperform. Games like these who follow the Team Fortress formula, they should balance the game by adjusting the high skilled characters first, then everything else later. If Soldier or Punisher are not good enough to survive in higher ranks, so be it, it is what it is. The player who learned the basics with Soldier76 or Punisher, they are ready to move on to something more complex and impactful, but if you make them "viable", rewarding low skill forever, that only leads to frustration. The brain dead should not be rewarded, period.

Ram because he can put so much pressure that she has to use both her bubbles immediatly and then she has nothing left. With rein u can block her beam with ur shield (forgot to mention u can also use ram’s shield) . If your team gets trapped in her ult u can use your shield to protect ur whole team. And I personally feel that rein’s charge does a lot to zarya. I dont know why but pinning a zarya to a wall and just hammering her works really well.

Mauga is not even close to Hog. Mauga cannot one shot you once you reach his line off sight, but Hog does that all the time. (Bad positioning/skill issue obviously, not the character being broken)

Perfectly explain the sombra part, i never understood why an hero shooter with abilities has a character that removes that feature. Not only in ow, but a ton other games
Being targeted by sombra feels like a never ending pain, it's not the teleport as you can get used to that pattern, but if she's right behind you and hacks you, you've already lost. I often play soldier and my first reflex in a 1v1 situation is his abilities.

Hog and mauga is 50/50 and since the last mega buff its more like 70/30. Mauga waste his e and is forced to play for cover or hog will hook and blast him as always.
He's definitely hated but I think Hog has a lot of the same issue but is worse.
That's odd, maybe there have been some balance changes but I found DVA the easiest to kill since she is large enough to shoot with both guns. Oddly Junker Queen can fair decently well with the knife at long range and the smaller hitbox that can get up close and around Mauga, not sure if that works on PC though with the faster turn.

Sombra, Zarya, Venture, Soldier, Pharah, Kiriko, Moira, Illari, Orisa, and Ball. I Hate these heroes, and I think the most problematic one is SOMBRA! SOMEONE NEEDS TO DELETE HER AND GIVE HER A REWORK! She does so much while having so little skill. Plus her translocater is a get out of jail free card with a 5 SECOND COOLDOWN!!! Hack and Virus is super easy to land, plus she has the same amount of health as everyone else and not say tracer. She needs to be a glass cannon if she's gonna do all this stuff. So if I'm gonna rework her, I'd go with nerfing her translocater to 8 or 10 seconds, so she can manage her escapes better, and nerf her invis to were it takes longer after translocating. Everything else she can keep. Also I'll give her more dmg falloff since a lot of times she can kill you from even farther ranges. Also her health will go down to 175, or if you wanna be generous, 200 flat. I want sombra to actually think when targeting people and get punished for reckless plays. She gets away with too much and she is seriously a problem.
Kiriko is so much worse suzu completly getting rid of a ton of ults her extremely high damage combined with her Tiny ass hitbox makes her a pain on the ass to 1v1 and even if Ur winning it she's just gonna teleport though 3 walls unlike sombra where you can see where she goes she also doesn't deal that much dmg alone without the virus which is hard to hit as long as she's not touching her enemies

Sombra practically forces the team to stick together so that once somebody gets hacked, that player marks her so your team knows she's there and they all go get her ..she's the most annoying because there are some characters that require an insame amount of skill to not get killed by her once she hacked you and threw her virus ..I particularly find it imposible for a Hanzo to beat a Sombra, the chances of you hitting her with such a tiny hitbox while you wait until your storm bow to be ready are ridiculous ..there's like 3 or 4 other characters that struggle as much as Hanzo against a Sombra

@@c00lNiNjAA26 in my ranks a fight between a hanzo and a sobra is preety even as they tend to react to the hack instead of just ignoring whatever happens around them and dying so in the end there's a solid chance the hanzo will use his storm arrows and spam you down before you can react or just charge up and hit your head with his hard to miss projectiles
Here’s my experience with what was listed:
Widow: There’s almost always a player who insta-locks Widow (usually on my team), in 80%+ of my QP matches, and they aren’t getting a single kill for several minutes, while also somehow dying first just about every fight (with or without the presence of a dive opponent). I see Widow far too often, and she is too much famine with too little feast, and since I’ve seen her as often as I have, she’s become beyond boring to play with or against. Although, I would gladly fight against her instead of an Ashe, Bastion, or Pharah+Mercy.
Roadhog: While his healing ability is easily enabled by supports and how his self-heal is on a meter that can be accessible repeatedly, he’s still a shell of his former self despite having a very large and easily maintainable health pool. It doesn’t feel like he has the same consistency with being able to one-shot, and his widows of opportunity to one-shot are less frequent, given how OW2 is paced, how the health pools have changed, and some damage is more frequent. I’d rather face a Roadhog than a Mauga or Doomfist, certainly.
Sombra: It just feels like Sombra players are built ONLY for applying Hack, using Virus, and then unloading their entire clip into 1 target of interest, which leads to either a kill, or them throwing their translocator and cloaking away if they can’t get the kill. It’s predictable, boring, and only slightly annoying unless you/your team are potatoes who don’t defend themselves or know their surroundings. Again though, I’d rather a Sombra on my team being a distraction/annoyance than a Widow getting nothing done, or conversely, I’d rather the enemy team have a Sombra not necessarily getting picks every time she does her ability cycle than get mowed down by some more offensive Damage character or enemy combo.
Kiriko: I agree how she’s favored too much by the devs, and I dislike how she’s pretty much gospel of a support character due to her ability to cleanse/essentially give i-frames to her team. The whole idea of “you should go Kiriko/switch to Kiriko” solely due to having access to her cleanse and i-frames is discouraging to having variety in matches and discourages playing/learning the rest of the cast. I honestly think Kiriko is defined exclusively by her ability to cleanse, and if she didn’t have cleanse, she’d be pretty much a nobody.
Doomfist: Completely agree that they’re egotistical, which I think comes from the skill-floor and ceiling Doom has. Yet above this, I think a fair amount of Doomfist players aren’t happy with no longer having Rising Uppercut and being able to cheese people with needless “zero-to-death”-like combos; the amount of OW1 Doom players slamming their keyboards/controllers and using every single ability every chance they got to stun lock people to death was a massive and repetitive problem. I’ll take tank Doomfist over DPS Doomfist any day of the week. I know there’s a lot of potential with him, but I think it’s harder for Doom players to reach his full potential, which further adds onto their ego when they get to actually dominate or when they get put in their place and can’t carry.
Overall, I think Mauga is more problematic than all of these characters since he’s pretty much the poster-boy for the rampant counter-swamping that keeps affecting the game, as well the ultimate example of being nobody without one ability (in his case, Cardiac Overdrive). The fact players think, “Oh, the enemy has a Mauga, time to go Mauga” as often as they do demonstrates how unhealthy and disproportionate he is compared to every other Tank and how Tanks in general are in an awful spot in the game.
For your widow complaint, why does it matter if they go widow when its QP? Literally qp is suppose to be the fun mode where you test different characters out, and learn new characters. If it was comp, id understand but you specifically stated qp.

Literally the only reason people hate mercy is because they are so bad at the game to the point where they can’t kill a flying character. Get good.
Funny thing is that you don’t even have to do well to get insane value on Widow! Just existing restricts the enemies’ playstyle, aggression, and hero selection due to the chance of a headshot. And on some maps you can play from a range no hero besides another Widow can even interact with. She’s the only hero that can hold a lobby hostage while going 10-10.
This is why I hate her. I didn't have time to fully articulate this in the video but she ruins the game because of what you said. As soon as someone picks her, you aren't playing OW anymore.
I wish that Lifeweaver wasn’t a hated character but i understand why. He’s extremely hard to kill, he has a low skill floor, can easily deny enemy plays, and ultimately mess up ally plays even if it’s unintentional. He does a decent amount of good but that doesn’t always outweigh the bad that people see. I personally don’t really hate any characters but I don’t expect everyone to have that same mindset.
Worst by far is Widow. She fundamentally doesnt fit the game's design with the ability to instantly one shot every second. A good widow will completely ruin a game. Terrible, terrible character

I really don't think Widow is that hated anymore. I used to see GOD widows/genjis/tracers all the time in OW1, but rarely ever go against them in OW2 anymore, so rarely hear anyone ocmplain about widows. Really the only time I hear someone complain about Widow is in competitive when some guy gets tilted 2 minutes into the match and blames their Widow for not winning the first team fight.
Definitely less hated than Mauga, that's for sure. EVERY game I'm in where he's on the enemy team, someone is complaining -- usually the opposing tank.
Never understood the hate Widow gets. Shes a sniper, the only one shot capability she has is if she hits the head(not counting low hp enemies) and its actually pretty difficult. Im trying to get better with her now and its difficult

For what it's worth, I've only been playing this game for a week now, but Sombra is by far my most hated.
She can turn invisible, so even if you realize she's behind you somewhere, it's insanely hard to counter.
She can teleport, so even when you try to fight back, she just runs away.
Her weapon can instantly delete any Damage/Support character before you even realize it's happening.
And on top of all that, she removes all of your abilities.
It's an insane cocktail of overpowered abilities, and I wish at least 1 of them was nerfed.

Sombra is my BANE. The only true counter option for her is Kiriko as her Suzu can instantly negate ambush and make her run away. Conserving Suzu for her is very important and makes it so frustrating for Sombra she may switch and at that point...Mission Complete.

I never trash talk after a win on Widow (unless I get it first) cause I can imagine how unfun I made the last 10ish minutes for the other team.
I'm going to argue from the perspective of a Widow main that she's probably THE most annoying to play against overall. Her headshots can still melt the bullet sponges like Mauga and Roadhog, and those guys are slow moving with big heads, so they have to play WAY more passively. Or I just one shot everyone that isn't a tank or Bastion.
Only real trouble is Sombra, and even then if I stick with my team and/or play smart I can still easily find value. To stay alive against a good Widow you need to activate your Spidey Senses and always be actively shutting her down.
Sombra is 100% the most annoying, every cooldown she has is just against others having fun.

dude everybody has different opinions, some characters may be the most annoying to you when they’re the funniest to others. it depends on your mains and obviously you’re going to hate the counters to your favorite heroes.

My brother in Christ, this annoying mf can just hack, use the virus, choose not to engage you at all if the player thinks the battle is not in their favor and just run away with the annoying fly thing.
It’s mostly her presence in your backline that makes it annoying to fight against, she gains so much value by making you scan for her and be paranoid lol

I am a firm believer that nothing would be lost in the long run if Widowmaker was removed from the game
Sombra is so fucking disgusting. I'm a ball player, and people hate me for that, but at least ball is one of the hardest characters with the highest skill ceilings and lowest skill floors. Sombras skill ceiling and floor are the same line. She has an undodgeable, unmissable skill remover that, based on lag, can go through walls and sustain after being shot. This hack ability also turns off medkits, which is free value with 0 risk that eliminates balls main source if healing and value. Sombra is also perma invis, has a tp, and is a damage vs a tank. By choosing sombra, you eliminate any fun, skill expression, or meaningful counterplay. Even if I cancel hack, the cooldown doesnt start until after it lands and has like a 4 second cooldown anyway.

while invis sombra is literally not in the fight (aka her value is 0 so good sombras don't even go invis that often) she can only use her tp once in a while and is an extremely easy kill without it most good balls actually get hacked on purpose before doing any meaningfull play since hacked enemies can't get hacked again I agree with the healthpack thing tho it's really fucking annoying dx it even gave her ult charge if anyone grabbed it before

In the entire history of this game, the only character I genuinely always thought should be deleted is Sombra.

I get the most fun out of characters that are nothing like normal FPS and use abilities a lot, and every single time, there’s a Sombra to counter me and ruin my fun, thanks blizzard… at least she’s a little more bearable now that she’s actually killable if you track her translocator

As other ppl said in the comments, not having Mauga here is kinda weird but even as a Doom main I agree almost completely with the last spot, just aside from his empowered punch “not having counter play as a combo”, the counter play is just not being dumb and shoot him while he’s defending, it’s that easy, then he won’t have empowered punch unless he ults
Plus the mechanic is straight boring, specially since it substituted uppercut, which was a proactive ability, now we have block which is a boring, reactive ability

For me the most annoying are, Mauga, soldier, bastion, Moira, and kiriko:
Mauga, bastion, and soldier all just hold r2 and spam till they get their alts. Moira and kiriko are just too easy to play and get insane plays for no effort. Like how Moira will have games with 17/2 with 10k heals and 15k damage.

He's easy to aim with, hard to kill bc he can heal himself, can get away with his 0 cool down sprint, and has his annoying rockets which just offers another easy way to sneak kills. He usually dominates a lot of games he's in and is resilient and annoying. He's on par with Sombra lol.

Doomfist is the goat of overwatch, his gameplay/gamestyle is so different that it is amazing to have him in the game. So that people with bad aim like me can survive in this game.

Honestly i kind of expected genji to be on this list, because genji is just smol doom, he's feast or famine, is notorious for the "i need healing" and blaming his own team, is incredibly good at stomling the enemy team into submission if he has a good game, and if the genji is having fun, you know the enemy team isn't

It doesn’t really look like it because of the animation, but Moira’s primary fire is just a beam like Symmetra and Zarya. The only thing that makes it annoying is the ridiculous range, but it’s pretty low damage so

Beside her ult being a pain in the ass, I don't see symmetras being unmanagable. Her teleports can be a problem on taking space though.

Mauga hog sombra widow Symmetra top 5 most annoying no contest. Symmetra is way worse than torb cause I’m pretty sure her turrets slow you, she can just dive into the enemy team and chuck 3 turrets on top of them, and her primary fire is the cheesiest primary fire now that Mei primary fire isn’t what it once was. The other picks speak for themselves, and I honestly don’t think any supports are in contention. Kiriko is very versatile but she is in no way cheesy. She’s actually only annoying imo if a teammate picks her but can’t play her right.
