Sunak did not destroy Conservatives. He was PM at the worst possible time in the aftermath of Brexit and Covid. He did bring inflation down from 10.7 when he started to 4.6 just before he left. He did his best but sadly that was not enough as the damage had been already done.
The bank brought inflation down and was always going to happen. Sunak did nothing to make that happen.

@@jahpeace30001that is correct but it had an impact on fiscal policy (the decision not to reduce taxes on account of high inflation) which was directly up his alley as Chancellor and then PM. If taxes were reduced earlier, it is possible inflation would not have come off by now
