Clean channel is very nice but overdrive could have been better but low price is what makes this amp worth buying Apart from all that hof 2 is such a badass pedal can listen to it all day
In the room the overdrive was great but did not come across on the mic due to the small speaker size of 8 inches. In the playthrough it sounded more boxy than it did in the room. At that price though its really worth it. The HoF V2 is really a very versatile pedal.
We are planning to do a new under 8k shootout featuring that amp's 15 Watt variant as well but we need to borrow that and a couple more from retailers to get it done. The 15 watt variant of this should also be a part of it.
When it comes to those choices this one is pretty much great. Not too sure on the CM15 as never played it but this is good for the price and the volume.
Hello! Please spare me two mins. I bought the fender champion amp yesterday. When i plug it with my fender strat there's always a noise coming from the amp even at a very low gain and vol. When I switch to position 2 or the position 4 on the pickup selector then also the noise remains. It only reduces when I touch the metal parts of my guitar. I think the problem is due to grounding issue with the power cord of the amp. The power cord of the amp came with a 2pin plug. Should I buy a new cord consisting of a 3pin plug as it would provide the earthing to the amp. Please help me as I'm new to all these.(i just bought my first electric guitar). Hope you'd help me solve this:)
Take the guitar to a tech and see if the ground wire is properly connected. Regardless would still change the amp power cord to a 3 pin just to be on the safe side.
Had same issue when I was using my physical rig(I mainly use bias FX now).the main reason for that noise was a too high distortion levels that i used.I suggest changing to a 3 pin plug and seeing the results.if they don’t improve consider buying a noise gate pedal.the behringer ones are pretty affordable
Fender Rumble amplifiers. They are actually bass amplifiers but it would be interesting if Mr. Jagtiani tries that with a guitar. From different forums and on TH-cam, many admirers of its sounds(when plugged with a guitar)can be found. Who the hell is BINOD?
Not sure but that would be interesting to experiment with. Was planning on getting a Frontman for this kind of a shootout as its under 8k. Still not sure on who Binod is!
@@GuitarGearGyan Well for last few days, a guy named BINOD got famous on social media for no concrete reason as such. But I heard that he is actually a Nepali businessman of some sort and maybe because of some kind of a prank, he got this famous. I wonder how far can this thing called "social media" can go in terms of its sheer craziness. Now it has become a meme material. मेरा भारत महान।🇮🇳🙏
Good on Binod. The listed price is 8.5k on the site (Not MRP) and on that there is a further 10 percent discount if you use the link and code GX3 so you can get it for Rs.7,650
Interesting especially at that price point. I was not too impressed with the distortion but why the volume knobs for Channel B? They could have put a reverb in that place. You gotta do a new shootout with the 15W version & the Boss Katana.
You are right about the Reverb bit but at this price point its just an additional luxury. Will plan a shootout with the 15 Watt version of this amp and the Katana with maybe the LT Echo15 (The last time we got a faulty piece), a budget Fender Amp and the Vault 15. Let's see if we can borrow those from retailers.
Shhhhhhhhh Krishna just ordered it for me and it was supposed to be a surprise. Now only the JP15, JCM800 & Ox Box left on the guitar bucket list. But really this little amp is quite nice.
Procraft India is an Indian Company but these are OEM products like most companies here also sell. They are however planning on creating a make in India set of Tube amps which I will hope to review once they start to produce them. Binod????..... no clue. Most of the components are anyway made in India so at max the best that one can hope for is assembled in India unless the Indian Govt. actively takes an interest in helping smaller companies creating such products.
@@GuitarGearGyan Also on their website it displays "COMING SOON", under the section of electric guitars. How sooner? People at the Procraft amplification & maybe God knows the best. Do you have any clue?
Finally an Indian youtuber with quality content on guitar!
Keep up the amazing work, brother! :)
Thank so much for the kind words
As always lots of interesting tid bits and nuggets to pick up from these reviews..😁

@@GuitarGearGyan yes.. because "I'm lovin' it" applies for these reviews too..

Great quality content! Thanks for the really detailed informative review.
This can be a good practice amp for low price. Good eq settings. Good quality content.
Great sounding Amp from Procraft for that budget. Excellent review 👌👌
Thanks! 👍
Love the playing
Thank you
Need to see this in a shootout with other similarly priced amps
Planning it out but may take a couple of months.
One thing this amp has on other budget amps other than the katana mini is a full fledged eq.
True but in all fairness the Katana Mini had a fantastic gain stage when compared to this one.
@@GuitarGearGyan Yup I got one a year ago and the analog gain stage is amazing.Good for rock and metal tones
4:48 onwards, reminds me of the intro to the song
BENEATH THE REMAINS by SEPULTURA.
That is just a bit of a coincidence but now going to hear that intro.

Which budget Jackson guitar is good in 2022
Not sure on that as we have never reviewed a Jackson, guess we would need to get one on!
MG 25 or orange crush 20?
Orange Crush 20 for sure
Would have actually liked to have heard the mic in. Was there reverb for it?
No reverb on the Mic In and frankly not our cup of tea.
2 volume knobs on the overdrive channel????? Is it as tube amp???
We actually had the same reaction.
Sir please review Vault Fury 30 amplifier

Get the boss katana mini.it the only amp witching 10k price which is good and accepts pedals well

No instrument cable
This is quite informative, wondering what the best amp for online live shows would be, or does one need one? I am a total newbie!
This amp is great for home practice but maybe not for online use. For that would recommend a good sound card with vst plugins for effects.
Awesome
Thanks

Please do a review bout the blackstar debut series amps
Would love to someday but frankly unless they send it to us I do not see us doing it.
those pedals could make any amp sound good
True but this amp sounded great in the room. Especially for the price.

This one or katana mini?
Tough choice. Katana for pure brown sound and portability but definitely this one for stage!

Tube amps will always be Tube amps! Everything else is just a pale copy.
For the budget conscious in India Tube amps are slightly out so the Solid State Amps are their only real option.
