Stunning looking guitar. I actually like the Pau Ferro fretoboard with the blue of the body. Sounds good too. I need to try one. I am unsure about a 7.25 radius fretboard as I have never played one before.

An original floyed with a graphite nut and sperzel locking tuners, my guitars are the most stable guitars ever

I get it now it's a wide nut to fit locking nut cavity, I use wood to fill in the gap usually ebony

Including my old use Jackson fu1 fusion

All my floyed builds use locking tuners and a graphite nut, they stay in tune like nothing I've ever touched

Now we need a video of how to unbox it without scratching it.😂

I put 2 on PRS guitars. I like them and left a Sweetwater review. Temp changes make a Floyd a bit of a pain from day to day. It's really nice to just turn the tuners and I hate bumping by finger into the sharp locking nut edge. It's also just one less thing to have to tinker with. So far, so good.

Good to se this product coming back, it can remove a lot of headaches. The genius of the Floyd is locking the strings at the bridge IMO, the greatest tuning instability comes from the bridge, especially the g-string. But I still think you get the most dramatic divebombs from the locking nut.

Is it recommended to use locking tuners with this replacement nut ?

Wow, all of the pull is now going to be on the tuning pegs. The whole purpose of the locking nut was to stabilize the strings and not have excessive pull on unrelated hardware. There goes your pegs and maybe your headstock.

Using a Floyd Rose to tune your guitar is like trying to pet a cat, one wrong move, and you're starting all over again !!

Interested to see how well this works on a Jackson w/ a pointy headstock where the strings leave the nut at a sharp angle.

Why would you need this on a 6 inline style headstock. The strings pass straight through the nut. I could see this for a Gibson, although it’s actually about 73 Yrs. late…

Thank you so much, there was basically ZERO useful information anywhere about the Unlock Nut, and this is also the first proper demo. Now I am Officially putting this on EVERY guitar I own, With or Without a tremolo. (Why not it's free tuning stability)

WTF would I want one of those for? it defeats the entire purpose of a locking nut, I'll grab a strat with a proper mastodon tusk nut polished to a spit shine if I want a unlocked nut.. good grief really?

All my Floyd guitars have been fine for 40 years with the locking nut and don't see a reason to change now . Although i see how it might appeal to some .

Only makes sense if you're going to permanently block them trem. Otherwise it is a useless product trying to fix a problem that does not exist.
