@@chuckmasonfishingmichigan Yvmw sir. Ok nice to know,As if ever get some ice & get mine figured out. Will be 2 of us using & we usually run atleast 1 hole a piece if not 2 hole a piece. So would be a 3rd or 5th hole.

You might be able to pull off three to four maybe even five holes with an FL 28 and the ProView transducer, since that one will go up to a 30-degree cone most of the ones that come with the units are at 12-degree transducer so that would be rough to accomplish, two holes with a 19-degree ducer in 17-ft of water is about as good as I've gotten

@@chuckmasonfishingmichigan Hi there,Evening sir. Ok thanks,As I have a FL20 UP with the pro-view ducer. As was told it is the best.

The Pro View is crazy AMAZING with the widest view projecting a 30' cone angle

If you're fishing with two poles and hook up with one of them. Are you asking for a tangled mess? Or are you just doing this in shallower water?

Hello Wade, no I will fish two fisted in 27-30ft of water out on Lake Erie, or like the weekend I just had, up on Saginaw Bay in 26 fow. Whichever rod goes off, the offhand quickly puts that rod away and behind me while on the hookset on the opposite hand. knock on wood, never have tangled while fighting fish, aggressively jigging a Rap is another story, but I just drill the holes further apart and that problem is solved

What size hole did you drill for the eye bolt?

I do not know off hand, pretty sure I just sized up the bolt to the bit out in the shop.

You mentioned a 4" hole for your transducer. I've been looking to finding/modifying something to bore 3-4" holes for my transducer/camera. What are you using?

The drill is so old, honestly dont remember, but I got it for perch in the early 90's on Lake St Clair. If I had to guess it was probably a StrikeMaster, but pretty sure they quit making it, and five inch is the smallest these days
