W comment
You just straighten your leg and you can continue your day
I had knee replacement was given a walker and sent home. While using walker to walk ten ft to bathroom fell and fractured knee cap. Had second surgery 36 hours latter. Also had a tear in tendon. After 3 weeks x rays showed a3rd surgery in next month. I pray this works because it will be last on my knee
Hey are you ok
I pray for healing to wherever you are bro.. God be with you
Мы из России с тобой, а как известно с нами бог!
Выздоравливайте❤
Do you gotta pay for all that?
Damn sounds real painful
This video helps me understand the mechanism of a patella dislocation and how lucky I was not to tear any tendons and ligaments when I dislocated my patella falling off a skateboard. I literally saw the patella moving laterally as I fell. Now, I understand what the patella moved out off. Thank you for making such a good explanatory video
We are so glad it was helpful for your understanding and that your injury was not worse. Thank you for your kind words.
Did you get a swelling on your knee after that injury? Did it hurt alot and did you walk normal after that? Happend to me like 4 days ago, my patella got discolated for 2/3 seconds and got back alone. I got a big swelling and cant walk normal. My orthopedic check it and said that its nothing serious, didnt do mri.
@@Wukodlak1 my injury was more serious. I relocated the patella by pulling it back to the centre while my friend straightened my leg. However, I tore the medial quadriceps, the patella tendon sheath and ACL. I was on crutches for almost 3 months. Recovery took another 3.
@@khorweesiongu good now
@@Wukodlak1 You should try and get an x-ray and mri for it. That happened to me from running when I was little and since I was 9 with me now being 18, I haven't been able to run or jog because it will dislocate. I pray you don't have this condition or if you do then you can catch it early.
I had this happen once. Worst pain I've ever felt
What more to me. Ever since I was 10 years old my both knee dislocates multiple times already 😢😢
@@Zgdx_Athenaare u going to get surgery?
Same
It happened to me 4 times in 3 years
I have had 8 knee cap dislocations and 4 shoulder dislocations since December of last year.
The injured person must take a good period of time
"That would be half a Million, sir"
Na healthcare 😂
Something like this costs 3 or 4 grand in Turkey and thats turkish lira. That means it’s like 100 dollars
Oh brother that will probably happened if trumps becomes president in 24 and I believe he’s a republican
shhh... Let the Americans think they're the only ones in the world
I’d pay that to have my knee fully repaired
Marvelous is an understatement 👍
Thank you!
i dislocated my kneecap while sleeping and it relocated itself when i bent my leg. i still have some pain but had to take things slowly, some of the worst pain ever
What happens when you fall asleep first at a sleepover
my body becomes cold when i watch your shorts for some reason
Haha you are a
so funny
We recommend a cozy blanket when watching
Thx that helped 😢🎉😂
Bro was caught sleeping first
Just got my Kneecaps dislocated today, Its good that there's someone with the knowledge on relocating the knees and My knees are relocated less than 3 minutes
I had dislocated it last night and a docter put it back but now I'm scared it will happen again so I can't get down from my bed WORST PAIN I'VE EVER FELT I just pray it heals and I don't need surgery I'm 14 btw
I'm 16 I dislocated my knee 2 weeks ago.
Bro can you tell me what happened after! Like did u have a surgery or something alike ? Cuz I am having the same problem as you
if it happens once, unfortunately it may happen again. the first time i did it, it was left out for 4 hours before the fixed it. they had to put me under general anesthesia just to put it back into place, then it snapped out and back into place about a month-ish later. I went about a full year without another dislocation and then i stepped out of my car (yes that's all it took) and it went out again. I'm awaiting on another MRI but my orthopedic surgeon did suggest we may need to do this MPFL reconstruction. if it keeps happening, please see a surgeon, if not even just to get some advice on physio or how to help it. if surgery means it will stop happening and I can gain some confidence in my knee again, i will more than likely do it even tho I am absolutely TERRIFIED. it's about a 6-month recovery time. now that it's been 1.5 year with 3 dislocations on my left knee, i think my right knee is getting bad too.. in the last week or two there has been a lot of pain suddenly in that knee and it feels like it's also unstable and being pulled out. if surgery will help, it may be the best route. because a lot of the time, it will continue to happen. knee ligaments are like leather, unfortunately. once they're stretched, they don't really shrink back up to how the should be like the rubber-band type ligaments in the ankles or wrists. speak with a physician always, and explore your options.
EDIT: this was not meant to scare anyone. it's something i wish would have been explained to me so I would've been less shocked by the second major dislocation (the most recent, technically the 3rd). it is the worst pain i have ever experienced and i live with a very painful chronic, progressive disability. it is unbelievably painful and i do not want it to happen ever again. the nightmares that came after were unbearable too. i hope your situation is better than mine, but always be prepared. wear your brace for as long as you feel you need it. it won't impede your healing to continue to wear it for stability.
@@yaya3403That's interesting to know. I have the same condition but it dislocates in both knees every couple weeks or so which has gone on for 9 years. Currently doing physio. Would you recommend a brace for it?
@@Lakktttt personally i do find that a brace helps.
Thanks gonna try this on my cousin
Hurts like hell man.
Wow so interesting keep sharing
Thank you!
I dislocated my patella with my own hand - knee was sore, I was wiggling the bone GENTLY and it slid right out. Thankfully it went right back in again but it wasn’t fun. Found out a few years later I have hEDS.
Thank God for science!!!
new fear unlocked
the new ligament has gets all the blood supply without restriction?
New blood vessels grow into the ligament re-establishing a blood supply
This is so good because yu learn how to not damage yourself more and making it worse if yu dnt no this yu can tryto fix it urself nd literally turn this wich isnt so so bad on the yur fuked level meter like turning this into a break NO BUENO JUS SAYING 💯THANKS
this is what is happening to me and my knee cap is loose with the same explanation givn here and i cant do much physical activites at all without knee cap covers or the the wrappable bandage wrapped tightly wround my knee and securing it
SAMEEE IT KEEPS HAPPENING AROUND 2 TIMES A YEAR AND IT HURTS...IT happened first in 6th grade and has kept happening. WHAT DO WE DO T-T
@@fionnasutopia5835GURL I FEEL UU SAME IT HAPPENED TO ME FOR 1ST TIME IN 5TH GRADE AND IT HURTS SOO MUCH PLUS ITS SOO RANDOM and it happens to me alot
@@fionnasutopia5835I have this condition but very very severe that it happens practically every couple weeks. You should try physio or if you don't want to do that then surgery is the only option from what I've been told by doctors etc.
This happened to me 2 years ago and I haven’t had it looked at yet
Please I'm telling you go to the doctor asap
It feels great only happened to me 4 times
When you fall asleep first in sleepover
Will the new graft be as strong as the original was? Will it resist same forces?
I think its less vulnerable to dislocation since the elasticity is reduce
This is the exact surgery I had last month
Hope your recovery is going well!
how did it go???! how is your healing?
If it doesnt tear, does it heal back naturally? I dislocated my kneecap almost 1 month ago and i cant fully close my knee or put any weight on it while bent. I use a patella supported kneepad but im scared of having to use it forever. I need an answer pleasee
Same bro Same condition as yours
In some cases it can, but if you still have pain we definitely recommend seeing a knee specialist to make sure there is no significant damage to the bone or to the cartilage and tendons of the knee. Repairing and strengthening the cartilage and ligaments is a preventative measure to restabilize the knee. When patellar dislocation is congenital, the joint can only be repaired through surgery.
@@healthdecide Thanks a Ton! From what i feel, my knee is healing slowly each week with the pain being less and less. But my knee doesnt quite look like my other knee. Will my knee look different after its healed hopefully?
@@muhammadmubashirmubashir5654 wishing you the fastest recovery my friend.
I can speak from personal experience since I dislocated mine two years ago. If you don’t tear it it’s entirely possible to recover within a month or two with good physical therapy. I tore mine when I was working out, slipped, and ended up having my knee go inwards and it dislocated. I was lucky, or crazy enough, to pop it back in myself and get to my room with the help of my mother. Took me about a month and a half to fully recover and week after the injury itself to stop using a leg brace and switched to a knee brace. I never had to wear it all the time but whenever I expected to be active or work out (something I started doing about two weeks post injury). You’ll be fine if you don’t mess around to much with the leg and take it slow the first few weeks and do your Physical therapy at a good doctors office. I even figured out that I’m incredibly susceptible to knee dislocations because my knee cap is malformed and the muscles can’t latch onto it very well. Didn’t stop me from rehabilitation and it hasn’t stopped me since.

What are the chances of repeating this after 1 time
Does it cost long term pain?
nope!! it feels odd but then you don't feel it
@@urfavclownie my problem wasn’t with knee cap after doing the X-ray these were the finding
Spiking of tibial spines bilaterally
Bilateral patellar upper pole osteophytes
Left anterior tibial tubercle relative separation
Relatively narrowed medial tibiofemoral joint spaces
But it’s all good I can walk with my leg but the downside I can’t play sports
marcelo when he dislocated someone’s leg in a match 😢😢
I just dislocated mine s few hours ago...
Same
Ahhh some good news for once
A slight rupture in this ligament requires this surgery?
No, one dislocation or minor tear usally does not require surgery. This surgery may be indicated after multiple dislocations or other factors like anatomical issues that may lead to more frequent dislocations.
ive dislocated them about 5 times now lol
New fear UNLOCKED 😐
What is the success rate of mpfl reconstruction? I am about to get my mpfl surgery done by next month.
how did it go? this was discussed with my ortho surgeon recently but i have to wait for my next MRI To find out if i should consider it. I'm so scared.
Is that repair good for sports does it weaken anything else. I was told I tore mine and that it will just heal on its own with immobilization but I don’t believe because Alberta’s healthcare system made me wait 8 hours for an x-ray where it slid back in place
It depends, in a good number of cases the MPFL can heal on its own without the need for an operation and therefore some people with a MPFL tear can return to normal activities with the help of exercises and physiotherapy. But if you have recurrent dislocations, surgery may be necessary.
Once it’s happens once it stretches out making it easier to dislocate. This is my 6th one and I’m ready for a treatment but wanna know the same thing. Can I still play sports after?? Or will it affect it.
@@Mobfamtx mine is fully tore
i have that

Is this surgery safe? My 9 years old hurt his knee and now his knee cap cracks!
All surgery comes with inherent risks - but if your child has been injured we recommend seeing a specialist to evaluate his condition.

It can do what
I'm having a displacement of my cup and it has changed my walks steps.. 😭 .. I need to do surgery but I can't afford..
Hiya, so sorry about that. Same thing happened to me. Are your steps back to normal?
Sir this is a drug store
My both patellar tendon dislocates multiple time already since i was 10 years old. I just want to end this cursed life maybe. Cause i cant afford surgeries
I'm glad I live in Poland and have free health care but the worst thing is that my kneecap fell out a few months ago, and the pain that accompanies it is terrible, even after surgery, my kneecap can fall out in just a moment after i get out of a bed. 😢
