    • @NURSEJAR
      @NURSEJAR  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi, Intelligent Female! So sorry to hear about your written exam. A lot of times, test takers make the following mistakes:
      1. Reading more into the question than what is actually there. Just remember, the question is what it is...nothing more...nothing less.
      2. Most testers tend to overlook "exception" questions. You have to be conscientious of words like, "except", "not", "but:, etc.
      3. Some questions will have what I call "FLUFF". This is usually information that really isn't relevant to the question. You have to learn how to recognize the "fluff", and just concentrate on the relevant information.
      4. Most candidates will start second guessing theirs elves and change their answer choice. 99% of the time, they are changing the correct answer to the wrong answer. Don't second guess yourself. Usually, the first answer you choose is the correct one. Only change your answer choice if you are 100% percent certain that you have selected the wrong answer and you are 100% certain you know what the correct answer choice is.
      5. Spend only 45 to 60 seconds on each question. After 60 seconds, if you are still struggling, go to the next question. Sometimes, future questions actually will give you the answers to previous questions. Once you have completed the exam, go back through to answer the questions you skipped.
      6. Don't review questions you have already answered. This is when you will usually start second guessing yourself.
      7. Be familiar with the following:
      A. Residents Rights
      B. Safety ( patient & self)
      C. Infection Control
      D. Prioritizing tasks or actions
      E. Scope of Practice
      8. Look for focus words/phrases, such as, first, next, after, before, during, etc.
      I hope this was helpful.

    • @NURSEJAR

      Hi, Lulu! You won't fail for not getting at eye-level. However, because you're not at eye-level, you most likely will not get an accurate measurement, which will cause you to fail this skill.
