    32:15 Dr. Brown, thank you again for the privilege of allowing me to be interviewed on your show about the topic of my book. I am eternally grateful, and I also want to express my condolences to your friend who passed away from Covid. Continuous prayers for comfort and strength to both you, as well as his family. Be comforted that he is at home with the Lord in the presence of our Savior. May God bless you and your ministry, Steve Christie.

    Also, Protestants pick and choose their consultation of the Church fathers … especially when it comes to the Eucharist

    • @jzak5723
      @jzak5723 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Right, they only quote them when they "appear" to support their position, otherwise, they have no use for them. Actually the Protestant's main purpose in quoting them is almost always to prove that the early church didn't teach what the Catholic Church teaches today. And in almost all cases, they are taking the quote out of context or reading their own opinion into the quote.

    My 1611 KJV has the Apocrphya. The KJV had the Apocrypha for over 250 years until it’s removal in 1885.

    Which came first? The Catholic bible or the Protestant one?
    If the former came first then the protestants remove some books they don't want or need.
    If the protestant bible came first, then the Catholics added some books to it.

    Dr. Brown likes to „school“ his listeners in the comfort zone of his monologues or „mini debating ill equipped callers on the phones“ but how do the listeners know if Dr. Brown actually tells the truth? It’s not enough to just engage callers who mostly can’t defend their position correctly. Even if somebody holds to the truth, if he can’t present his position in an adequate fashion, even the wrong proposition can seem superior.
    And again, who says he tells the truth?! All know he argues from a Protestant biased angle. If he is so sure of his position, let him debate people like Jimmy akin, Trent Horn, Gary Machuta or William Albrecht whom he „dodged“ on his purgatory debate.
    If Brown thinks he can school his audience on topics he is no expert on, at least have a balanced approach and invite catholic guests I’ve mentioned above so the listeners can hear both sides and make up their minds in light of the evidence.
    Just to remind ourselves: if one only is aware of only one position, not even knowing if the arguments are sound, you can’t be sure if you’re believing the truth on the matter.
    Even the Bible says „the first one to plead his cause seems right, until his neighbor comes and examines him“
    So let’s encourage Michael Brown to step up, Invite William Albrecht, Jimmy Akin or Trent Horn on his program and share the truth with his audience.

      1- the Gospels doesn't tell us that they are inspired, does they?
      2- if the church recognizes the canon of scriptures, doesn't that make the Church authoritative & ss is a heresy?

    “Let us lie in wait for the righteous man,
    because he is inconvenient to us and opposes our actions;
    he reproaches us for sins against the law,
    and accuses us of sins against our training.
    He professes to have knowledge of God,
    and calls himself the son of God.
    He became to us a reproof of our thoughts;
    the very sight of him is a burden to us,
    because his manner of life is unlike that of others,
    and his ways are strange.
    We are considered by him as something base,
    and he avoids our ways as unclean;
    he calls the last end of the righteous happy,
    and boasts that God is his father.
    Let us see if his words are true,
    and let us test what will happen at the end of his life;
    for if the righteous man is God’s son, he will help him,
    and will deliver him from the hand of his adversaries.
    Let us test him with insult and torture,
    that we may find out how gentle he is,
    and make trial of his forbearance.
    Let us condemn him to a shameful death,
    for, according to what he says, he will be protected.”

    Dear Friends: Don't let all of these "games" in Tokyo distract from the Matter at Hand. (Even the "mental" issues of Simone Biles.) These are eerily reminiscent of the Nero Games shortly before the destruction of the 2nd Temple, and now the 3rd (Yahshua and His Body) is in danger with all of the "look at this!" Do not take the mark of the beast! THE ELECT WILL BE SAVED, In Yahshua's Name.
