As a 36 year old let me say... you worry a lot more about how your appearance is going to age in your 20's than you need to. I think most people experience a dip in their 20's as their body changes that makes them feel ugly, then they grow into the changes and feel beautiful again.

Ikr? I love listening to her playthroughs when I’m doing basically anything. She makes even horror games chill, so it’s really good to listen to while doing homework or drawing. But if I don’t have anything to do, her videos are really great entertainment on their own, too.

Nah, her type of heterochromia of same colour but different shade is pretty common. The rarest type of Heterochromia is when both eyes are completely different colours.

I just show up every so often. I rediscovered Seán's content about a year ago and in the process then I learned he had a Dutch (like myself) girlfriend and I got very excited. Eventually just came to the conclusion you're a super chill sweet person and learned about the Japanese thing and I was just overall delighted. Congrats on the subs!

I aspire to be like Evelien. She is so calm, nice and talented. She’s just so perfect.
It's important to remember that absolutely no one is perfect. Evelien has her flaws and struggles just like everyone else, even if she's not sharing them on TH-cam or Twitch. That being said, as far as youtube role models go, you could do a HELL of a lot worse than her!

@@yourmum7704 yeah, gab is her online name, and it's short for a Dutch word that means “for lack of better”. Most people call her gab, but I’m sure at home she goes by Evelien. Evelien is her actual name, if you didn’t know.

I highly recommend her multi-player stuff with Sinow and Mr. Kraven, like the Left 4 Dead series or Resident Evil 6. The various "souls-like" games are good also, as is her translated work (the Fatal Frame series, Death Mark, ect.)

Hey hey hey hey let's just slow it up there cowboy. I know the sub numbers are gonna go up not down but I don't think Evelyn wants to think about 1 million subscribers because for one thing, yes getting 1 million subscribers is a HUGE accomplishment, but you gotta take into consideration that people who are getting towards that goal never say to people like "oh yeah I'll get famous if I get 1 million subscribers" that's not the case at all. In Evelyn's case, it's a matter of taking things as they go and most TH-camrs let fame and success get to their heads but that's not the case with Evelyn or Sean and other people should learn from that.

And the gaming community honestly, I've been here since the start of all those pioneer big gaming channels and female gamers have long been ostracised by their own peers. You have certain stereotypes obv, men and women, and then you have gamers (women) like Evelien (Gab), who's so different and truly into the gaming experience. But disregarded bc of her gender, not as much as before but its the truth, she could be bigger now, idk so many viewers fanatics like us could be here, but there's something still lingering about misogyny in this industry, that is disappointing and so many great talents go unseen bc of it.

I think the first thing I’ve noticed when I started following you was that you have heterocromia and I was like omg her eyes are so special ^^ and I knew that you speak Japanese and that you lived there for some time, but 7 years whoa, that’s so cool! I don’t always have time for livestreams so I don’t have a chance to listen to all the cool stories. Would you consider making a video on your experiences of living in Japan? What was it like to be there? First expressions, etc...I think it would be lovely to make a video on that ^^ and I personally loved this video, it might feel weird to open up to a bunch of strangers, but since you’ve been a part of many people’s daily life already, it feels nice to get to know you a little more.
