It is funny to hear you say "Lucious" fights "Denzel" that made me laugh out loud.😄 Great review but also check out Balls Deep Review...their perception is that he is consulting with his father before his rule at the end. High 5. Keep Rocking.
Did anyone else notice inconsistencies in hair/make up/cosume. Ex: he gets out of the river and his hair is wet but he is completely dry! Theres also a part where its SO obvious a wound is make up. I dont even notice these types of things usually.
I do think Denzel’s part was amazing but I do agree the movie seemed very rushed then end seemed like they left it open to maybe be a franchise or trilogy. But the beginning seemed very rushed they didn’t really explain how he got where he was his wife all that they kinda just had him old which I guess for an action movie is a good thing but I was hoping this was gonna be a huge extension to the first explaining what happened after Maximus and the evolution of Rome to where it was? I feel like they could have made a slightly longer movie explaining that. Amazing movie still I think about of the fan service was perfect for the moment. Very much worth a watch
The main actors were too comical and not serious enough. I was disappointed in Denzel also... too silly. It was definitely rushed and didn't provide any chance to connect with characters on an emotional level. I honestly felt nothing for any of them as characters in a story.

Also, I was expecting the twins to do something super crazy so we'd hate them more...I HATED Commodus in the first gladiator 😅
