Not really. Knightley's singing voice is mediocre at best. Certainly not bad, but not that great. Had the lyrics been sung with someone who had more talent and was able to project more emotion, they would have been great. But coming from her, they sounded just 'ok'.

This movie reminds me of when we 'tried' and it's good enough :) We're not exactly in touch but one of them recently got married, the other has a beautiful son. Damn, time flies.

when Mark looked into the eyes of Keira, didn't say a word, just hold her hands and looking at her while letting each other go... it felt so good. just so good. they were lovely together, I seriously think Mark was not acting 100% at that time, he really had that feeling in him. and it makes the whole experience just even more worthy. this movie found me when I felt really low, it grabbed me back a bit, and I'll forever have a place for it in my soul and memories

I rewatched it after a long time since I last saw it, and I finally noticed that the main characters have some small feelings for each other but never fully possess one another. Even though it's an old movie, its music and story still eternally touch my heart. And yes, I’m from 2024.
