Fame is a weird thing. I had no clue who Kevin Penkin was until I watched the first season, then he became one of my favorite composers. It's rare that a show is raised to classic status by its musicians alone
The music is great, but very weird to say the musician alone brought it to classic status. The best music in the world would do nothing without a story.

Made in abyss will always have the special place in my heart. One of the best anime/manga forever, if not the best. But i can tell for certain that it's ost and songs are the best from all the anime that exist.❤
Huge props to whoever is responsible for Arnór and Kevins colalboration, it's a match made in heaven. For anyone that enjoys Arnór Dans singing, I highly reccommend checking out Zankyou no Terror's (Terror in Resonance's) OST where he features in some songs and it is just as angelic as this.

You'd face death anyways, the world of Made in Abyss is horrible. If you're poor, there's a very high chance that you get sent to live with Bondrewd, and the things that are actually worth any value in collecting in the abyss are all stuck in the 6th layer, where you can't even escape from anyways.
@@keanul599agreed. The made in abyss world is one of the most hostile places in any anime. Every layer of that hole has animals that can ki*ll you with ease. Even the MC only made it so far because of the magic robot boy. And the white whistles probably had the good fortune of finding powerful artefacts that gave them a way to fight back against the monsters in the abyss.

Golden City: A body born on the floor of Golden City that is unaffected by the curse. Fapta. As for the interpretation of "Golden City", since the song title is "Gravity", I think "Gravity" is "Cursed Ones", and "Golden City" is "Fapta" instead of "Longing" or "Irumui Village". I think it is more correct to interpret it as I think this interpretation creates a story.
