I'm probably going to end up having time to just get the bare essentials taken care of. Welding the diff, removing the sunroof (but not patching it), getting it tuned, and then sending it. Who needs gauges?
Aren't the brake rotors rusted out? Isn't that super dangerous or is that fine for what you're doing? I haven't watched every video so u might have already talked about this.
Corey Ramirez no there’s nothing illegal about rusty brake rotors. That’s just surface rust that will clear off once the brakes are applied. No fines. There’s nothing illegal here.
Daniel Slaughter hah, no it did not go well. Check my instagram for full info, but my power steering line blew out. I missed the event unfortunately, but I hopefully already fixed the issue and will be out there soon.
Hey Jeff if you’re wondering about the interior door handle, you can use them/modify the ones from the LS400 to work. Metal handles > plastic handles LOL.
Good move signing up for a drift day. Having a little skin in the game will be good motivation to finish it. Lol you’ll find out quick what is essential and what you are willing to sacrifice to make it to the event. I ran my first couple events with no power steering. Sub’d for future videos!
Really good advice, thanks. Yeah I'm sure I'll find out what is essential pretty quick. I actually don't even know if my power steering is working yet. I need to get through a shakedown day before the drift day. I just knew if I didn't sing up soon I might never finish this thing.
Yup. It is so easy to get in a slump and miss an event if things aren’t perfect. There are only a handful of events every year in my area so every one I miss is a serious bummer. Are there a lot of events in your area?
@@pushrodgarage8716 I live in SoCal, so there are quite a lot of events year round. Also a lot of tracks are open every single weekday for test and tune type stuff, so I can go almost any time during the week that I'm not at work.
Fully Spooled it think you can you look very capable overall you know what you’re doing, your improvising is very admirable just keep up the good work and don’t let this be the finish keep working on your car right on after the upcoming event we will continue to watch and support, I’ll like to see a nice paint job some mate stripes livery’s and stuff I personally love the SC’s.
I have some sketches already for livery. I'm not stopping any time soon. I still have to make my roll cage, tube front and rear, and then boost. Plenty of content coming. Thanks for all the support.
@@FullySpooled alright awesome. I wasn't able to find a share link button so i sent you some sreen shots. JPgenuine is the seller. Awsome product and it got to me 2-3 days before the eta

Just a distraction from the slidey smokey bit!

All good. I have a working oil pressure gauge and I just picked up a water temp gauge.
You can do it!

Hopefully everything went well! I'm excited to see some drift videos!

Yes! I meant to order those a while ago. Thanks for the reminder.
Awesome overview man! I can't wait for this month of Fully Rushed episodes. :D

Nice! That is awesome. There used to be weekly events like that around here before the track closed. I miss those days!
Can confirm, giving yourself a deadline is far more effective.
Of course then I keep putting mine up on jacks again after whatever deadline I had.
I have so much to do. I also just started another freelance job for the month of January too, so it's going to be a challenge.
The day is getting closer and closer!!
Hey man happy birthday hope you get everything ready for your event coming up!
Thanks Aaron! Working on it as I can. Hoping I can make it all happen too.

New subscriber, 802 Garage sent me this way.
Welcome! Stay a while and watch me make a mess of this Lexus.
Oh I’m going to be here combing through some old videos. I have some things to learn.
@@WelcomeToTheMadness I'm telling you. One of the most underappreciated channels out there. Anyone could follow along and build a drift car.
Do you have a facebook? If so i can send u the link for where i got my new handles. Spent under 50 plus free shipping for both driver and passenger
Yep, social media is all listed at the end of the videos and in the video description :)
