I wanted to buy a 8mm mossanite cuban link bracelet and chain but was scared of the quality of the stone setting, I've read that many people had their stones fall out from other aliexpress stores in the past. But im giving knobspin a shot, at least they got 3 years of warranty on their stuff

Quite a lot of chinese sellers don't sell real mossanite apparently. CZ with a thin layer of diamond so it passes the test, did you bring it over to a jeweler, if these knobspin moissanites pass their more expensive testers?

@@elyad67 I think around these prices we shouldn't be too concerned about this. I'm not a gem expert, but I'm not aware of any technique in which a diamond can be applied as a "layer" on top of another stone. How would that even physically work? Diamonds cannot be liquefied and sprayed, and from what I understand, the raw cost of moissanite in China is very cheap, most of the mark-up happens from middleman dealers or Western labor costs, we're talking cheap to the point of the companies being much more likely to fake the silver or gold than the stone. And circling back to "for the price," I'm not super worried about it being genuine moissanite all the way through at this price. Sure I wouldn't be happy if I found out that they were somehow coating CZ, but even if they were, I feel like a lot of people looking for moissanite at this price are doing so because they just want something slightly more brilliant and much more durable than CZ, which you would get from whatever diamond hardness coating they would hypothetically be putting on there.

funny how every single person that wears moissaniite tries to pass it off as a diamond with this cheap tester instead of a quality tester that can tell the difference. Then they say, "moissanite is its own gem, its not a fake diamond" Lmao. Its fake because all of you guys are fake and try to pass it off as a diamond like you just did.

Not 'fake', it is a lab created sparkly white stone that is hard enough to wear daily.
the thing is is that all of the moissanite jewelry these people are buying is fake 100% not sure why people think that an "actual" jewelry company would sell gemstones for a loss that makes no sense at all use your brain.. but it is proven because they always show one of the fake certificates by "GRA" or "GGI" or "GGL" which are all fake anyone can google it and realize there are hundreds of these fake websites that are trying to copy GIA to pass off their fake gems the only certificate that matters is a REAL GIA certificate and maybe they should use their brain to understand that buying a 5+ carat natural mined diamond for 100$ is impossible and makes no logical sense the reason the tester even goes off is because she is using it wrong it needs to be calibrated for the carat weight, temperature and you have to touch the metal plate on the back but even if you did those things they still are wildly inaccurate. All of these peoples "Moissanites" and "Diamonds" and 100% fake NOT lab grown, FAKE like glass
Why you keep testing every single piece of moissanite that you bought? No matter how beautiful, it cannot compare to a diamond. Also, it won’t as sparkle as diamond too.
