- Ranger Sunny gives you an almost guided tour of the entire park (Lakes, Equestrian, store, camping, and more) as you enter the park. Rarely do you find a state employee ever so friendly and informative on camera.
This is a big park (15 miles of trails in a 5000-acre pine woods) and about 5 miles from the nearest gas station. Come prepared with a good fuel supply. The camping facilities were all spotlessly clean. KUDOS to the management.
This video will show you everything in the park you can see from the road. Settle in with some UTZ hand-cooked potato chips and watch the Ranger (and me) tour for yourself. See the deer! Despite the humor, this is NOT a clothing-optional park. That is up near Brooksville.

Thank you, Sooz! I try to make interesting videos that give a firsthand look at the places, but tend to lean more toward water destinations. I had a Super C for a long time, but currently enjoying this Class B to tool around in. Enjoy the comping!

One more thing. I said HI to Sunny at the entrance to Colt Creek State Park and told her I saw this video. She hasn't seen it yet but would like to.
I can't figure out how to get it to her. I had her card, but couldn't find it when the video was edited.
I enjoyed this tour and in fact I saw the sign for this today as we are staying at Forest Lake Village and made an error in our reservations. One night in January we will be homeless in our RV between campgrounds. Tomorrow we have got to check this out, Add one new subscriber, Thanks much
