The issue is not “can they fix it”. The issue is that they make games good off the bat. Games have started to suck, on launch, since game patches became a thing. I don’t have a problem holding games to the standard of quality on release. We used to just buy a disk and play it. Now, we’re hoping it gets fixed down the road; Or, in the case of Battlefront 2, it gets completely reworked/rewritten.
Honestly bro people just want a finished game so when you don’t deliver that people have the right to be pissed. There was no reason for this to be a buggy mess it’s just a unacceptable trend that’s happening more and more and it just needs to stop.
The absolutely could have made the game better before launch. Especially since they delayed the game in the first place to make sure it was ready. But I also don’t think developers can foresee the issues that hundreds of thousands of players can find in a game at release. The devs could have absolutely done a better job regardless
After playing it. The only thing I have a gripe about is the humor and story. Everything else has been pretty fun. A good trick for the ADS is to spam your aiming button and let the aim assist do the work

I appreciate not joining a hate bandwagon, but this is way too forgiving. Sure, a game can be improved after launch...but we should first and foremost be looking at a game as what it is, not what it can be. This isnt an open alpha, it's presented as a finished product that a large corporation is charging full price for. It's good that games like Witcher 3 and No Mans Sky were improved later on, but they didnt/shouldnt get a full pass, nor should this. There are so many issues with this game that stem from intentional design, and not a meager budget. It's not unfair or excessive to point those things out. The Saints Row reboot SUCKS. The fact that many people are saying it and profiting off of it right now doesnt make it untrue. By all means, keep positive and highlight the aspects you enjoy, but if someone were to tell people that this product is in any way worth the asking price, I'd be inclined to call them a liar/shill.
I can agree with that. I definitely think that what they’re charging for what it is, is not a fair price point. Especially because it seems like the campaign goes by so quickly. I would have thought they would have made the game play significantly longer. Especially since it’s all digital at this point. I would hope they make improvements sooner rather than later to ensure it doesn’t crash and burn and they can salvage what’s left. But only time will tell.

It’s pretty similar mechanical. Just some bugs in the movement. Little choppy at times. I think you’d have fun with it. Especially once the bugs are patched
I been playing it since 23 at 12am I love and enjoy it so much not many bugs for me when I’m playing I fell through the map but I fast travel to church then it was all good
The thing about the new saints row is that they put elements of call of duty in to it like the missions with the marshals and most people who play call of duty do so for the multi player and not the 8 to 9 hour storyline the new saints row is a disappointment as it trys to be everything from saints row to grand theft auto and call of duty to the TV sitcom friends but gets nothing right and just like the boss at the beginning of the game it should be buried its like the developers took their top franchise then took a big dump on it of final note saints row 4 was a good game some people just don't like over the top crazy and agents of mayhem does not count as it was not a saints row game is was a stand alone superhero simulator done in saints row style but people did not like it although it was an interesting mix of game types it might of succeeded if you got to make your own superhero and even choise their combat style and personality similar to your boss in the saints row games

The issue I have is that everyone slamming the game is comparing it to the other SR games stating that they should have followed in the footsteps of previous games. I played the first 3 SR games leading up to launch and in my opinion, I think it would have been far more embarrassing had they released games similar to previous SR’s. The story in previous games is less advanced, as well as mechanics and overall gameplay. I still think the devs need to fix a bunch of things in the game and if they don’t, then I’ll definitely be leaning towards, “this game is trash”. I want to give them a chance to fix it before slamming them.

That’s true. I think people expect devs to just keep cranking out the same game over and over again in order for it to be successful without ever trying anything new. They definitely took a risk starting over from scratch with this game and I think we are now seeing the problems coming from that but I think it’s good they started over to allow for a new story to be built as long as they fix the bugs.

People will always get a game just because they can demanding smaller developers fix a game the second a problem is revealed. But then turn around and say that games that have billions of dollars of revenue and thousands of people on staff are okay not fixing their game because it’s “not that bad”.

That’s awesome! I think the first one is still my favorite so far. But this one is definitely a good game I think. As long as the devs fix the problems it will be even better.
Excellent take on this. Personally I understand some of the complaints; but I can honestly say I had quite a lot of fun so far. Some stuff I've seen is outright hilarious! Lots of nods to previous SR games as well as other franchises. Overall I consider the game a worthy reboot, neither as massively over-the-top as SR 3 and 4, but also not as gritty as SR 1 and 2.
The humor is always my favorite part about these games. It does seem like this game has a slightly more serious tone to it than previous ones. Glad to hear you’re loving it!

I was lucky enough to not experience any of the game crashes but definitely the sluggishness. I’m sorry that happened. Hopefully they can fix it to make somewhat of a comeback

Well I appreciate your feedback. My video was intended to go into the things that most other videos were slamming the game on. I’m not far enough in the game to review the plot line or things like that. But I am in a position to be able to say that the game is not as bad as people say it is. I think most people are “jumping on a band wagon” with the game because they’re favorite content creator says it’s bad. The reason I compared SR to other games like GTA, COD, or BF2042, is because people are expecting Deep Silver and Volition to have billions in the bank like the developers of these games and be able to make a flawless game like the above game’s devs claim they can make. GTA is the only game able to do it well lately I think. And again, like I mentioned in the video and you mentioned here, people will say GTA, COD, or BF2042 are the greatest games of our time even though they have their fair share of problems, but a smaller developer releases a game with some bugs and people say the devs don’t care. They may or may not care and I was more saying, let’s see if they do anything about it before we slam them. Once the game has been out for a few weeks, if the problems still persist, then I’ll definitely be changing my view to, “the devs don’t care and this game is trash”. But I’m trying to be optimistic and give them a chance to fix it in hopes that it can be a badass game like previous SR’s
