    Glad I saw the paper insert in the case with the QR code for this video! Exactly what I needed. For those installing an SRO on an LTT slide, the SRO instructions say to torque the screws to 15 in/lbs. Follow Langdon’s instructions instead, and torque to 10 in/lbs.

    i should have watched the video, i stripped the nuts that come on the plate, thankfully Langdon designed this plate with replaceable nuts for guys like me. They also sell almost every component of the red dot mounting interface. if you are planning on making an order, it wouldn't hurt to add these to your order just in case.

    Thank you for the thorough explanation and the red card warning that came with my LTT slide to watch this video first. Hit my LTT slide today in sniper gray and I am amazed by the quality of the mounting system. Followed the instruction to the teeth and mounted my RMR on it. Can’t wait to sight it Tomorrow at the range.

    Just got my RDO slide (in OD Green!!) and installed my red dot, Swampfox Justice. Haven't shot it yet, but looking forward to taking it to the range. The OD Green looks amazing. Thank you for the tutorial, very helpful. Anything I've ordered from LTT has been great.

    As someone that owns reflex sights with Dokter and DPP footprints, I'm glad LTT went with the RMR pattern for its mounting plate: the industry should move forward to a standard like it did with the 1913 accessory rail (c'mon Glock, even H&K and Sig adopted it!)
    Brands like Holosun and Swampfox are shipping more and more optics with the RMR footprint and I hope the market keeps moving in that direction.
    Ernest, thank you for providing a proper mount with recoil bosses, unlike some recent offerings from big industries.

    I just received my RDO ready slide with the 92 Shield/Delta plate and was wondering why the rear plate doesn't have raised sights. I was hoping to have raised sights just in case my Leupold Deltapoint Pro runs out of batteries.

    • @ernestlangdon3075
      @ernestlangdon3075 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      We specifically left the rear sight off of that plate. The Delta Point Pro has an option for an adjustable rear sight to be attached to it, the rear sight would block the use of that option. The new Sig Romeo 2 sight has a built in rear sight. So the rear sight was left off on purpose.

    Mr Langdon I have a question. I see you wear a pair of glasses. Are those prescription glasses? If yes can you recommend any prescription eyewear? Also does wearing glasses affect how you aim (I can only do one-eye aiming wearing glasses). Thanks.

      I wear them for two reasons, eye protection in the shop and to see precisely close up. This is a very complicated topic and books have been written about the subject. If your looking for prescription shooting glasses, check out www.decot.com/cart/shopcustcontact.asp

    The RDO system for the Beretta is outstanding. The only question I can come up with is if you have not purchased a red dot or decide you want to remove the red dot and use iron sights, is or will there be a provision for a rear sight and cover plate? I am thinking strongly about sending in my 92X Centurion slide but that is something I would like to know for my decision process.
    Continued blessings and success.

    • @ernestlangdon3075
      @ernestlangdon3075 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @Emmanuel Goldstein The is an O-ring on the bottom of your RMR, or there should be. The reason you have to use a sealing plate is that the Glock MOS plates do not match the width of the RMR. They match the width of the slide. Therefore you need a sealing plate so that the "O-ring" gets a complete seal, or that is what is recommended. Our plate is built to match the width of the RMR and does not need the sealing plate. High-quality MOS adaptor plates, like the ones sold by C&H Precision, do not need the sealing plate either.

    • @LangdonTactical
      @LangdonTactical  2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      I am sure it will be an option in the future. Many of the red dot trainers do not like night sights on their red dot pistols because it puts two glowing dots in front of your face at night. One green and one red, but still possibly visually confusing.
