Installed in about an hour and was not too difficult. Huge difference on the DA pull, and the Single Action Pull is like a button! Crisp with a short reset- very nice. With the trigger kit, #12 hammer spring, steel trigger, and Lok grips this is a world’s difference from when I first bought my 92FS. Great job Langdon Tactical!
I’ve watched numerous Beretta disassemblies and you have the best one. Those close up still shots really show you a clear image of the small important things. Awesome work
This video absolutely nails it. In addition to a tiny crochet hook I made good use of a dental pick to position the sear spring and a tapered pick to align it. The DA trigger pull is now 2 lbs 12 oz and smooth as glass. Amazing!
Just got mine today and installed it. (All of my friends out here kept telling me to buy your kit and as they're all competition shooters and sheriffs, I listened to them). Only problem is that first spring on the trigger, in that it's hard to see it on the video. The added still frames made a HUGE difference. Thanks for the video, made a hard job a lot easier.
my first gun work I have done myself. Took about 1.5 hours, my Italian made gun had the rolled pin and it was a sob. I just finished up and I like the action alot. I only had 1 thing different from the video I had to take out the slide release before the trigger pin. Thanks for the video.
Great video helped me get my trigger kit installed in a 92 clone (Girsan Regard MC) without too much problem. Trigger pull on D/A is like night and day compared to what it was before. Single action is better than my 1911. Great job you have a happy customer who will do business with you again in the future.

Using this video I was able to install an excellent "Trigger Job in a Bag" in my newest Beretta 92 much to my (and my wife's) surprise! It exceeded my expectations and I'll look at getting another one for my M9 next year! =-D
Just installed the trigger job in my Italian 92fs. The pin to remove the hammer spring was tough due to the rolled pin, but the rest was very easy. The new trigger is very light and crisp! It was exactly what my 92fs needed. Thank you for the installation video!
I’m late to the game, but I received my trigger job in a bag today. Had it installed in 30 minutes in my 92X Centurion. What a difference! No more over travel and a butter smooth DA pull. I don’t have a lanyard loop, so I had to get creative to get the hammer spring cup out.
Great video and the trigger pull from my Beretta 92X has become AMAZING after installing the Trigger job in a Bag. Would EXTREMELY recommend to anyone with a Beretta 92.
Just got mine in the mail today. Watched video a few times then installed in about 20 minutes. I purchased NP3 parts. Trigger in the factory LTT 92 was ok, now, just as good as my Wilson done Beretta. Very worth the money and a fun project. Fine kit!
We used to do this without any additional parts required. We disassembled the beretta, polished the hammer with a fine stone and CLP, cut the hammer spring a couple loops and Walah! Easy expert shooting badges 👍🏾👍🏾
Hi Ernest-Not too long ago I upgraded a 92FS trigger. The difference in the trigger could only be described as a spectacular improvement. This week I purchased a M9A4 from an out-of-state retailer. Because of the great experience I had with the 92FS conversion, I purchased a Trigger-In-A-Bag kit from Langdon Tactical. When the pistol arrived several days later, to my amazement, it immediately became clear to me that Beretta had made dramatic improvements on the M9A4trigger over the old 92FS. When I compared the M9A4 out of the box to the upgraded 92FS there was very little difference. I wanted to return the unused, unopened, Langdon Tactical merchandise for a refund. However, there is no contact information on your website. (No phone number and the address is listed as "not a public storefront. Do not return merchandise to this address". There was a link to a merchandise return page. However, the link was blocked. Can you help? Thanx.
Can y'all do a new version of this video in a bit better lighting and showing the new trigger job in bag?Its very hard seeing all of this in black on black. Thank you very much for teaching us this
It is really hard to see any detail in this video as far as the small parts and how they fit. The lighting and camera angle make it almost an audio guide.
Received the Trigger Job in a Bag last Friday and installed it easily in my 92x with this video as a guide. The trigger felt great and I was so excited to try it out that I took it that evening to the local gun range. Has an extremely short reset, approximately 1mm by the looks of it, and about a 2.5 lb pull. The weight is ok with me but the reset was too short for my comfort. Fired about five rounds through it and then had bump fire for the rest of the magazine! Took me by surprise to be sure! Strung about five shots in a three inch vertical string before I was able to disengage. My kit used the Wilson Combat Deluxe hammer, 13# hammer spring, and the Volker flat faced trigger shoe. Do you have any educated guesses as to how to correct this? Otherwise I’ll go back to stock and change one thing at a time…
You may have put your sear spring in backward. I don't believe the gun is "bump firing" from the short reset. The sear does not have the correct tension on it from the spring. Also, this is not really a customer service portal. Next time, call us or email us with questions at contactus@langdontactical.com and we can get back to you much faster.
Of course my Beretta was one of the 5-10% that needed adjustment for double action. Video was really helpful and I'm very pleased with the results, though.
@@elonmusk8667 Not sure what you're asking, but the trigger bar is very nice. However, in a recent video Ernest says NOT to use the method he uses here to fit the trigger bar. Too late for me, unfortunately. The video is the recent video on the OP trigger bar, and he says to stone the hammer instead of the trigger bar.
@@elonmusk8667 Oh okay. I do not remember (keyword: remember) any polished surfaces except the hammer spring, which had the bottom flat surface polished so it would rotate smoothly in its channel. All the parts are finished in whatever finish you choose (black or NP3). I could be wrong, though.
Can you PLEASE add the OP Hammer adjustment video to the description of this video?! I just got re-assembled and found in the comments the video about honing the hammer instead of the OP trigger bar wondering why DA wasn't working.....Italian 92FS here and disassembling again to modify the hammer would have been nice to know going into this. Otherwise, LOVE the new action on the trigger! Thank you Ernest!
Where would you rate the different hammer springs options as far as for their primary uses? If #12 is for a competition style, what would you suggest the other two options for? Very excited for this product and thankful for this video tutorial! Oorah!
I dont have my 92fs yet. But I'm surprised how some parts remind me off 1911 parts. And the tear down. Well minus a few springs. Love the armorer's block. Proof you dont need to buy every fancy tool, you can make your own. Good video, very educational for me. I'll look into getting your kit. Or two.
I have to know. If I'm not mistaken you've won multiple championships shooting a stock 92FS. Did that mean stock from the factory or were you allowed to change things with manufacturer upgrades? Were you allowed to polish stock parts or cut springs? When I say upgrades, I mean any component manufactured by Beretta that did not come with the handgun purchase, but is readily available to everyone for purchase. Including anything from springs to changing out grip panels. Thanks for all your great videos.
So when I was winning national titles back in the day, there were no aftermarket or factory upgrades for the 92 Beretta. That was quite a few years ago; things are much better now. I won with a 92G, 92G Elite, and the Elite II, basically factory guns. Factory parts with a trigger job. So yes, some polishing and stonework were done, but basically stock guns. Also, I was shooting in either Stock Service or Production divisions, so very few modifications were allowed anyway. I did play with some lighter recoil springs from Wolff toward the end if I remember correctly. I did not cut hammer springs, we used the Beretta 8000 Cougar and PX4 F model hammer springs back then. That was more than 20 years ago.
@@ernestlangdon3075 That's really cool to know. Thanks for replying. I've held off on buying your TJIB for a while so I could learn how to shoot my DA/SA guns stock, including the 92FS. Your videos really helped me to get good at working the trigger where I finally felt like I earned a TJIB. I just installed it today and am looking forward to shooting it this weekend. I appreciate all the work you've done.
I have a Wilson brigadier with their inhouse trigger polishing. I'm just not that impressed with the feel of it. Would this help or is it similar to the Wilson trigger work? Also thank you for sharing so much of your da/sa knowledge. Matt
I finished the install and it works in DA and SA really light pull in both, but it sounds like sandpaper as the parts move. Specifically when I rack the slide from the hammer being decocked, the trigger has a slight bit of takeup that sounds like sand paper but once I pull that takeup it doesn't let the takeup back out even if I push the trigger from behind. Its like the SA trigger has a little more to go from what it travels when the hammer is cocked, but it disappears when you move it that little bit. Is that just the new parts not being oiled yet and the new parts wearing in?
I have a TJIAB on the way from your Black Friday sale. Trying to decide which of my three I love the most to put it into! I have a Wilson brigadier tactical, but I'm leaning towards my standard 92fs due to the more holster options for carry. I was wondering if the LTT trigger bar has less occurrences of the DA issues? I'm also interested in the carry bevel, and wonder if that bevels down the edge on the inside of the trigger guard, as my finger drags on that when firing.
just as a heads up for anyone else, when you remove the slide stop the spring that holds the trigger pin in place may want to exit your gun at the speed of mach fuck to then place itself in another plane of existance never to be seen again by your mortal eyes. you then add 3-5 business days of the installation of the kit while the replacement spring ships to you.
I just did mine. Take up is there in SA but there is no creep and the reset is almost nil. I’d say the reset went from 1/4” or so down to maybe 2 millimeters. Over travel is also almost nil. DA went from 10lb 11.4oz to 7lb 2.1oz. SA went from 4lb 12.3oz to 3lb 5.9oz
Awesome product so far. How do I know if the double action is not traveling far enough back? Do I just have to shoot it and see if I am getting light primer strikes? Installed on a brand new 92X full size decock only.
Also, it speaks to your professionalism and dedication to your product that you are still answering questions on a video that’s a year old, thanks again.
Is there any difference installing the "trigger job in a bag" in an Elite LTT versus buying an Elite LTT with a trigger job directly from Langdon Tactical?
Yes, everything is fitted and check if we do it. The Trigger Job in a Bag is very close to what we do, the steps are all the same, but we cannot check fit and adjust if we do not have it in our hands. We like to say the TJIAB is 80% of what we can do here.
Mr. Ernest , I have a question Sr. ?? I’ll try to buy a trigger in a bag . And the instructors sad “The Trigger in a bag will not work on a 92S that was built in Italy. “ This is true ?? I watch your video two times and you comment if is Italian the only difference is the pin on the hammer sprig . Sorry my English. Thank you very much .
@@niadhf The trigger bar is the main part that is different and what causes the issue. The other parts will help a lot, but the trigger bar is key to a good trigger job on that gun.
All the parts in the kit are important to the trigger job. We go through a 43 step polishing process for the trigger job in the bag. The decocker is not part of the trigger job kit.
I was on the Marine pistol team a few years ago. i'm trying to find something similar to the match m9's. how close does this trigger get to a bullseye gun? and, are the beretta made wilson guns worth it over trying to find a match m9 somewhere? i can't find one.. i have an order in with Steve Huff at Accuracy X for a 1911, but i'm trying to find a 9mm service gun to use as well.
So the trigger from this kit is likely to be much lighter than a bull's eye gun. NRA rules normally require a 4 lb single action on a "service pistol" and most of these kits come in under that weight, normally around 3.5 lbs. Also, building a Beretta to that level of accuracy that the 2112s at Quantico can do is very difficult and expensive. I do not do that kind of work and only a few people outside of the military do that work that I know of. Hope this helps.
helps a great deal, thank you. The 12's on the team didn't know how to build the m9's so we had left over guns from quite a few years before when the amu guys showed the older dudes how to build them. only got to shoot one a couple times, didn't get to use it regularly. once i graduate and get some actual income i'm probably going to give you a call. i appreciate it.
A guy on ebay sells "accurised" barrels that basically use a bushing on the end to lock up in the front. Other wise i believe its metal inserts in the frame. You can buy one that is ready to go for about 2 grand but there is a waiting list.
FYI: The trigger is all steel with a polymer coating for comfort and heat resistance. It is not a plastic trigger. Put a magnet on it. Or call Beretta tech dept, they told me it is a steel trigger with a polymer coating.
@@mercyrules1617 Yes, but the factory sold steel trigger does not hold up well. I have broken two of them and seen a third break. I have never broken one of the polymer factory triggers. My understanding is the all-steel trigger was made for the EL model so they could gold plate it for aesthetics and not for function. The all steel trigger does improve the trigger pull in my opinion, but both of mine broke at about 2,000 rounds.
Thank you for sharing your knowlege with me. I'm quite impressed that you took the time to read my post and thoughtful enough to take time out of your day to enlighten me on this. God bless!!
@@LangdonTactical thank you for that! I have 2 LTT elites. One with the NP3 love. And a bone stock one. Since I can't use this on my 92XP. I'll upgrade the stock one!
You guys are rockstars, excellent products with excellent results. Unfortunately, this video killed itself with craptastic lighting. The vid is 6 years old and needs an update anyway. Thanks for your wonderful products but please help out the ambitious DIY guys with better lighting.
The instructions are pretty good, but I can't say the same for the camera work. I've watched the video on three different monitors, and can't see what's being done for probably half of the steps. Closer shots, and better lighting, are desperately need.
We have tried to get better with our camera work and lighting. This was done years ago and has worked really well for a lot of people so far. It likely needs to be re-shot with better equipment, but it has been working really well for so long it is not a priority.
Good God. I appreciate this video..and I'm excited to try this product, but the lighting in this is absolutely horrible. Half the time, even with still pictures I still can't quite see what the hell you are doing...
Thanks for the positive feedback. We are trying to improve our videos as we go. We are not a monetarized channel, we are just trying to help people and share information here. We will try to do a better job with lighting in the future.
Jim Burley I saw a video where Larry Vickers and Ken Hackathorn spoke about how Ernest Langdon helped teach the Wilson Combat guys how to improve the triggers.
I have a LTT 92 and a friend has a Wilson. The LTT does have a better trigger than the Wilson. The thing I like better about the Wilson is that it has a black barrel , trigger and looks better in my opinion. If the LTT was all black it would be the best pistol on the market.

Thank you!
Will you make a PX4 trigger job in a bag video?
Yes, I need to do that.
Will this kit work on the 92fs 22LR?
Accidently added overtravel thinking it would fix the double action problem
How much do you remove from the trigger bar if double action isn’t fully Cocking the hammer to where it drops? Lucky 5-10%er here
Watch this video first; th-cam.com/video/BuELnRoC2gE/w-d-xo.html
Mine has a heel magazine release, do need to remove that to get the hammer strut out of there?
Never mind,
Yes you have to take the magazine release out
Awesome product so far. How do I know if the double action is not traveling far enough back? Do I just have to shoot it and see if I am getting light primer strikes? Installed on a brand new 92X full size decock only.
I am sure it is traveling farther back than the factory set up. Yes, just go shoot it and have fun.
Thank you for the video. Just a suggestion, can you add more lighting to your videos, its really dark.
Mr. Ernest , I have a question Sr. ?? I’ll try to buy a trigger in a bag .
And the instructors sad “The Trigger in a bag will not work on a 92S that was built in Italy. “
This is true ?? I watch your video two times and you comment if is Italian the only difference is the pin on the hammer sprig .
Sorry my English.
Thank you very much .
Sorry for taking so long to reply. Yes, it will not work on the old S model guns, the trigger bar is different and will not fit.
@@LangdonTactical is the trigger bar the only part that is different? Would replacing the other parts make a large improvement?
@@niadhf The trigger bar is the main part that is different and what causes the issue. The other parts will help a lot, but the trigger bar is key to a good trigger job on that gun.
@@LangdonTactical thank you. I will just dobyhe rest slowly, then. And work on the PX4
I already have a wilson combat 92g centurion, without an action tune. Do I need the whole tigger job in a bag kit? I know I dont need the decocker.
All the parts in the kit are important to the trigger job. We go through a 43 step polishing process for the trigger job in the bag. The decocker is not part of the trigger job kit.
@@LangdonTactical ok thank you
Have you noticed they dont have a phone number posted on their website.
do you ship outside the U.S. ?
Where can this trigger kit be purchased?

You are correct, it is plastic over-mold, and there is a steel frame under the plastic. Most of that steel is at the top of the trigger.
@@ernestlangdon3075 Is there a considerable ammount of more steel in the all steel trigger?
God bless!!
Good good video
gracias
Will this work in the 92x series pistols.
Yes, It will work on all the 92X guns except for the 92X Performance. That is a single action frame safety and the sear is different.
P.L.E.A.S.E, Can I use a beretta Billennium Trigger in a Beretta 92A1?
great video
anyone have a video how to put this into a 92x performance ?
The 92X performance is a frame safety gun, and therefore it uses a different sear and will not work with the Trigger Job In a Bag.
@@LangdonTactical thank you for that! I have 2 LTT elites. One with the NP3 love. And a bone stock one. Since I can't use this on my 92XP. I'll upgrade the stock one!
WILL THIS KIT FIT BERETTA M9A3
Yes, it will fit the M9A3.
You guys are rockstars, excellent products with excellent results. Unfortunately, this video killed itself with craptastic lighting. The vid is 6 years old and needs an update anyway. Thanks for your wonderful products but please help out the ambitious DIY guys with better lighting.
1000000% on target with the lighting!!!
Are you going to be selling a trigger job in a bag for the PX4 Compact?
nrbrown5985 go to www.langdontactical.com products page and you will find it there.
We already do sell that.
And it is MAGICAL!!!
will this work with m9a4
Yes
Awesome 😍👌👍
The instructions are pretty good, but I can't say the same for the camera work. I've watched the video on three different monitors, and can't see what's being done for probably half of the steps. Closer shots, and better lighting, are desperately need.
We have tried to get better with our camera work and lighting. This was done years ago and has worked really well for a lot of people so far. It likely needs to be re-shot with better equipment, but it has been working really well for so long it is not a priority.
Great trigger folks! I installed this trigger in a bag today. My video is here: th-cam.com/video/FMaLtwkkPmU/w-d-xo.html
Don’t bother showing how the trigger spring is oriented by any means.
That is because the trigger return spring is not directional. It can go in with either leg forward.
@ Noice. Thanks. I got er done eventhough I’m blind. Im kinda wishing I went with 12 lb spring. I guess ill order it separately if I can
Good God. I appreciate this video..and I'm excited to try this product, but the lighting in this is absolutely horrible. Half the time, even with still pictures I still can't quite see what the hell you are doing...
agree. Just needed a light and would have been 1000x better
@@bench175 Had to youtube one or two other videos to make sure I wasn't jamming anything up! But got it done...
That pesky hammer pin.
Thanks for sharing - the lighting stinks
Thanks for the positive feedback. We are trying to improve our videos as we go. We are not a monetarized channel, we are just trying to help people and share information here. We will try to do a better job with lighting in the future.
Must be a lot of natural gunsmiths in here, because I find this video lacks a lot of details.
You believe your trigger is better than Wilson Combat?
Jim Burley I saw a video where Larry Vickers and Ken Hackathorn spoke about how Ernest Langdon helped teach the Wilson Combat guys how to improve the triggers.
Probably, Ernest was the man who taught WC what they know.
I have a LTT 92 and a friend has a Wilson. The LTT does have a better trigger than the Wilson. The thing I like better about the Wilson is that it has a black barrel , trigger and looks better in my opinion. If the LTT was all black it would be the best pistol on the market.
Seriously?!?! How about some lights and keeping the gun in frame, so we can see what’s going on?
Sorry, we are trying to do better on our videos. Most people have been pleased and successful with our free videos. If you read some of the other comments, most have been pleased.
Sorry, that was overly critical. In the end, I was able to install the trigger successfully, so the video did its job. Great trigger!! Thanks
I couldn't see a fucking thing.
Echo chamber sucks.
Great product but the lighting on this video is horrible. Please re-shoot with proper lighting for future customers.
Yes, we are trying to get better. Video is not our game, but we are trying to get better as we go.
