The Oracle Oculus Bi-LED 9" Headlights have been designed specifically for the Jeep Wrangler JL and the Jeep Gladiator JT. They feature a single center projector lens for the low beam and high beam that outputs 3200 lumens at 5500K for a crisp cool white light. There's also an LED DRL Halo ring to add a punch of style that's sure to turn heads. The lights are a plug and play design using a factory style connector for the low and high beams, and they include a easy to install wiring harness to power the LED DRL halos. Rob shows us just how easy it is to get them installed in your Jeep in this step-by-step installation video.

Ordered these from Quadratec and they indeed were easy to install. Took about an hour and that was mostly me fiddling with the wiring routing. These lights are the bomb. Wiring the halo to the cigarette lighter fuse gives you the added safety feature of increased visibility to traffic during the day. At night they really light up the area in front of the bumper. The install video was spot on.

Just installed these today, very quick and easy. All I can say is WOW they look great and it is such a huge difference compared to the halogen bulbs. It does produce a lot of heat but you can hear the fan running to keep them cool. One thing I noticed is when flicking the high beam on and off you hear a noticeable click sound. So far happy with them

Yes came from halogen to these. Plug and play no harnesses needed. You will have to run a small wire for the halo to the fuse box and use the included fuse splitter to tap into the cigarette lighter fuse. Very easy

I purchased a pair of these from you guys. Easy install, you say? Why don't you go ahead and actually show us how to use the damn Alan key they provide to adjust the headlight beam ! One must have baby arms, because unlike any other normal headlights, Oracle made the adjustment horizontal - impossible to reach once installed. I could not even take the rubber cap off the left one.

Idk if anyone else has had similar issues, but Oracle's customer service has been absolute crap with me. My girlfriend had bought me these headlights as an early Christmas present (from a different retailer, sorry quadratec I still love you) and when I was installing them I found the driver's side didn't work. Long story short, its taken them nearly 4 weeks now to test the headlight (and confirm that it was broken before I received it) only to say that they no longer have any in stock and it'll be at least another month before I get a get a replacement. Im sure they're high quality if quadratec posts a whole video on the product but damn customer service has been completely disappointing.

And in conclusion, Oracle says Canadian wiring is different. They need to be programmed with a Tazer or Jag? (OBD2 I guess) They were extremely friendly and got me an answer on the phone. I recommended that they include a note for Canadian-destined product advising of this requirement (notice to ordering Canadian resellers, a sticker on the packaging and a note on their website. Lot's of Wranglers north of the 49th parallel ... They also need to correct their packaging so it says 18-20 JL, not 2009-2019. It is correct on their website. Great lights. Anyone know who has one of these programming gizmos other than Jeep dealers? My resller doesn't although they have a shop (?)

    OCULUS TAKE NOTE.
These do NOT work on a 2018 JL Sport (2-Dr) Canadian vehiclew. I tried 2 sets. The Oculus box says JL 2009-2019. This is a clue of something wrong as they can't be the same for both models.
The projectors come on in DRL operation (when dial in "Auto" position) and in daylight. THE PROJECTORS FLICKER. classically underpowered. I have it on VIDEO.
BUT The projectors should NOT be coming on in DRL mode at all as it defeats the purpose of the halos.
This is a deal-breaker unless there is some kind of update or missing part for JLs my dealer does not know about.
The PERFORMANCE is otherwise FANTASTIC Fantastic low beam width, brightness, laser clean cut-off line, the best I've seen.
The projectors are rightly disabled when the parking brake is activated but they SHOULD NOT come on in DRL mode either. Just saw a M-B GL with halos (no beams) for DRLs and that is the right mode of operation.
Either they need to be dealer- flashed (which any shop that sells them should know, have tested before they let them out the door, and advised customer in advance) or if Canadian JLs require a flicker harness they should kno wthat too. Anybody can resell a product. But I buy from my local shop to support them and they should be informed. But again, neither of these are indicated as requirements in this QUADRATEC video or on the Oculus packaging.
These are not $50 bulb swaps ...They are $900 CDN out the door..
Again, the box says for 09-2019 Jeep Wrangler JL. This is WRONG. The requirements are clearly different between a JL and JK.
So who is confused? My shop? Oculus? Quatratec? Are Canadian vehicles wired differently?? My invoice says JL/JK with part number 5839-504. Again, that can't be right because the electrics/requirements are known to be different on the two generations....
If OCULUS MONITORS THIS SITE, they need to explain this situation to the community. Something is not right somewhere in the supply/information chain.
I have spent 3 hours of my life re and re-ing these lights and documenting this and am back at the starting line with the shittiest of OEM halogens I have ever experienced. While I'm griping, shame on JEEP for cheaping out and letting this new generation Wrangle out of the factory with these completely crappy halogens. Maybe JEEP monitors this site too... I have a penlight flashlight in the glovebox with better punch...
    Buyer beware.

@@michaelpuckridge3491 What I referring to is the projection. It is hard to tell in the video because the Jeep is vey close to the wall on the projection test but if you look at 0:25 in this video you can see it is not a straight line, the beam has a step to it. It is more clear if you look at the beam test at oraclelights.com/oculus This is a LHD (left hand drive) feature, most AU vehicles do not have this step to the beam. It is something MOST people would never notice this. I only bring it up because someone in AU bought these lights then contacted us to see if we can provide a beam without a step and we were able to custom make a set of projector plates without a step for him because he was very concerned about this. Sorry for so much information, again it is not something you may not have even noticed.
