I just know that after fumbling his first "a curse is a curse and once it takes hold... Well, it... it takes hold" he spent the rest of the day trying to come up with a cooler line and had himself all set up in the captain's quarters to deliver it and then got cut off. I love him.

After this show, went on to research and was pretty amaze how much details actually happened in real life. Always thought only the names they used were real, but turns out blackboard really did shoot izzy in the leg, and kinda took care of stede bonnet when he was an incompetent captain
I feel so supported to know that others helplessly adore our Izzy. He was a mess; what a guy. May his memory always be for a massive blessing What a guy
