I mean the dynamic between Aziraphale and Crowley is practically exactly the same as the one between Stede and Ed. OFMD could almost be thought of as Good Omens On The High Seas.
A fun thing to remember about Good Omens is that there’s absolutely zero reasons Crowley and Aziraphale couldn’t have been on boats in the Caribbean in the early 1700s.
