Another great video matt how much more would the 75kwh one be? What's the difference in range I know everyone drives differently and have different loads kind regards Mark
Very few of these around yet second hand, but looking on Autotrader now, it would be around £7,000+VAT extra for the 75kWh version. These get another ~63 miles more range.
What’s odd is that they do for their Japanese market MPV vans, but don’t in the hiace. This van in Europe is the shared Stellantis platform so same as Dispatch, Expert, Vivaro, etc.
@@vladimirputin4822 I have an 8kwh solar system and 16kwh battery storage, but that doesn’t help you when you’re up and down a motorway or 100 miles from home. It’s costing me as much as a diesel right now 🤦🏻♂️ And if I added on the cost of the solar and batteries, diesel would be so much cheaper ! EVs have gone tits up if you need to use public charging
@@AndyC2_ EVs being so cheap to run has been a great bonus until now, but not the reason why many are switching and being zero emission is what they're about. If you can charge at night on a cheap rate tariff, they're still significantly cheaper still.
@@AndyC2_ If any of that were true you would have a much greater understanding of the cost difference. Therefor I call bs. p.s. does your income depend on ICE usage?
An 8 year warranty on the battery pack is excellent. The bodywork of my current van only had a 7 year warranty.

Doesn’t this van come with 10 year manufacturers warranty?
Yes, if serviced at Toyota. All the details are explained here www.gogreenautos.co.uk/for-sale/toyota/proace/sw21wfc#h.4s0gfj339cm1
It's absolutely stupid why Toyota haven't bothered with putting their hybrids (with larger batteries) into their commercial vehicles

Not a chance with electricity prices as they are and going up again in October
Plus fast/rapid charging nearly 70p kwh 👎🏼👎🏼
Get solar installed or do it yourself.
Invest in battery storage if possible.
