It's a good car, driving feels not as good as a VW Trasnporter but the Proace is around 20k cheaper to get. I drove around 7.000 km within 2 weeks throughout the EU, when some Canadian friends were visiting. They were impressed by how nice the Toyota drives and how powerful the littel engine feels. You can get around 800 - 1000 km out of one full Diesel tank.
so how big is tank ? I wana calculate how much os eating this car per 100km (average with 2 person in it). Do you have also diesel engine ? Is it reliable ? best regards Marek
personally, i think this would do excellent in the U.S. we are short on "mid-sized" vans. is there any word if the proace will be released in the states?
Very doubtful, as the Toyota Proace is built by Sevel Nord (Peugeot/Citroen) specifically for the European market. Toyota sells them in the EU because the Hiace doesn't comply with EU laws.
Automatics are always better at everything in every car. Especially in a van. It’s not a Mazda Miata, it’s pointless to row your own gears. The gearbox in these is an excellent 8 speed as well. Get the auto. You won’t regret it.
Don’t ‘worry ‘ Toyota’s quality control isn’t visible for everyone but it’s there. Toyota can’t afford to go wrong. I Drive a 2012 Yaris build in France before I always wondered what the hype was about these things for years. Now I know..so many way older once are still going strong and bought ‘second hands’ for premium prices. If I needed or wanted something like that Proace i would be first on my chopping list. AND… The Proace is NOT available with a petrol engine…guess why? Just ask a driver from an older or younger Toyota. Main complaints about Toyota’s used to be the or extreme or boring looks. They obviously fixed that with 💪👍 But choose the transport that makes you happy if not a Toyota I still wish you safe and happy miles or kilometers 👊🍀
@@Chrizzolinoh2o That's way too much! Maybe for an actual toyota, but not for a fake one. Actually not even a real one, that's still way too much. Tell them they're dreaming!
Two check engins in six month from new....not what i expeted...back suspension hit hard, corosion protection and sound isolation non existend...now in winter fuel consuption acording computer 12.7 liter.
It's another non status symbol. But my local doc has one for all the reasons you mentioned except it's. VW t6. Re around town, it would have to be becaus city's are now ULEZ..... And where would you park it, it's footprint may not be that big but it's an illusion to some drivers who can't grasp the bigger they are the easier to drive...
@@tahirsiddique2430 The big difference is that Toyota gives a 10 year warrenty covering pretty much all parts, as long as you do the regular service intervalls at a Toyota garage. In Germany they even give even 15 years!
@@rk28984Here in Sweden 10 years/200,000 km as long as you do the usual maintenance service 😊 I sold my 2017 V250d 4matic to buy the Proace Verso 2.0d automatic. So far I'm happy. but you never know what will happen in the future.

7 seats and a decent sized boot gives it a win over most SUVs

will this be released in the US? we need this married up with 2.4 liter hybrid force max engine, and a little bit of interior upgrade.

It's not even a Toyota. It's a Peugeot engine with a Toyota badge

so flappy paddles means an auto chanke manuacl box with a dual mass clutch
and old style auto if far more reliable and no clutch to wear out
no they are all full traditional automatic
It’s an 8 speed proper torque converter auto. Excellent transmission.

It bmw b48 diesel engine, ?
No, PSA engine
It might be better but it's also significantly less sexy than an suv and that's what most buyers are going to care about
Get a Peugeot or Citroen it’s cheaper and exactly the same that’s never been a Toyota the only thing Toyota is the badge
And the 10 year warrenty by Toyota.
@@rk28984 but still french build quality and many clauses in the warranty so still better of with a Citroen
Are they reliable? I'm looking at crew vans right now
