    That looks definitely like nothing else on the market. Also Meagan is so much comfortable in front of the camera, she's actually leading the show now!

    Wouldn't mid running on them! (If I recall, they are kinda expensive though)
    How do they compare to the New Balance RC elite v2?

    • @antonioromulodelcarmen283
      @antonioromulodelcarmen283 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Probably more expensive and limited. NB RC Elite v2 would probably go on sale by the time these and the new NB supershoes finally come out.

      Pretty different, not as soft

    Too expensive.. they need to drop 20 or 30 off of this.

    What Puma does with the availability on the webpage is a joke. Runner umfriendly.......

    Looks promising, but I don't think they're going to have enough stock like other brands and the result will be frustrated customers, again. I loved your bracelets btw! :D

    Rain, slippery streets and hills during the 2022 Atlanta half marathon…..my shoe of choice over Nike, Adidas, Hoka, ASICS…..the puma deviate nitro with over 250 miles on them because they are just solid regardless of the conditions. Why use a shoe with 250 miles for a race….because Pumas supply chain lacks and can’t find new ones anywhere

  • @cmcolangelo
    @cmcolangelo 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    Until puma can produce more than a handful of shoes they are doing their brand a disservice. A huge number of us were frustrated we couldn’t get the deviate nitro elite and now we are supposed to be excited about their next generation unicorn shoe. At least I can buy Nike, Saucony, and Asics PEBA midsole race shoes.

    Sweet looking shoe. I'm glad you and all the other reviewers are able to get these, but it's pretty annoying seeing all these reviews without actually being able to test any of the shoes myself. I've been trying unsuccessfully to get a pair of the Deviate Nitro Elites for months, so based on that experience I guess I can expect to get these on my feet sometime in 2024?

    Guys, I’m also very frustrated with the lack of availability of some Puma shoes, specially the Nitro Elite model, which seams to some kind of mirage. But, to give Puma a little credit, they said that at a first moment they would release a small number of this model at the beginning of the year, and than sometime during middle or end of the year they would release the model to the general public. So, we will have to wait and see.

    Looking like a great shoe… that comparison with the Alphafly especially on the slower paces is something to think about. Especially if you’re not going all out for the full distance of the marathon.🤔 Plus the discounts and availability of the Alphafly now at the Nike outlets…Decisions, decisions, decisions…🤦🏻‍♂️🔥

    2022 marketing guidelines: use "bio", "power" and "elite" everywhere. "Pro" is not good anymore.

    I guess Puma isn't going to put out a "tempo shoe". e.g. decoupled fore/heel and a less breathable upper....seems a "see-through mesh" is the material used on flagship race shoes (e.g. Adidas, Nike) ...but not Asics interestingly with their successful Metaspeed shoes. THough Asics shoes have always been known for breathablity. I'm guessing....only owned one apir of Asics....maybe ove 15 years ago...just remembered how breathable they were...like no other shoe I had ever owned. Back when there really wasn't "shoe TECH" and that much focus on engineering geometry....weight....when shoes form one comapny all looked the same...when there was only one type of foam,...no foam name on the foams...heh...
    Is this a limited run shoe as I've heard? Don't see it listed yet on the Puma Canada website....

    Why do Americans pronounce it Pooma, it’s Puuma

    • @hecntina

      Because it's a German company, and they (along with the Spanish, Italians, etc.) pronounce the u in Puma like "ooh" instead of "you."

    Spoilers are typically used to reduce wind resistance. Nike was already pinching out the heels of their foams. I presumed they were doing that as a spoiler as well.
