So kind of you for demonstrating the swaras...🤯🤯🤯
    It indeed sounds blissful...
People merely even know this is the detail.
Hats off to the creator who has pumped in the diversity of swaras in one simple yet not so simple chant...🙏🙌
And one big THANK YOU for making efforts to bring this in front of us and into our ears.
We basically hear pandits chanting the same in some hurry....🥲
But god lies in the details...
What a beauty our heritage is🤌🤌

Nice video! The first story is ALSO metaphor for the sound changes that occurred in Vedic Sanskrit. There used to be only one svara/accent in Vedic Sanskrit, but branched out into 3 svaras/accents.

Great work. 2 major corrections. When 2 anudattas happen next to each other, the second akshara should go 1 swaram further down. In your example, Jye should be C. Shta should be B swaram. This is the protocol for all 4 vedas.
Also anudattas should just be 1 semitone down, not a whole note. It should be D flat in your example. There has been studies and published works in this. I can cite, let me know if interested.
I love your format, makes learning vedas for laymen very visual, excellent!

Very well explained - thank you. Pronunciation is the key in Sanskrit! I think the mistake of pronouncing Krushna vs Krishna is of equally important. People are mistakenly pronouncing male name as a female and expecting the wrong deity to help them!

    • @DiscoverHareKrishna
      @DiscoverHareKrishna ปีที่แล้ว +2

yes true. bt intention is important, if u pray to krishna, the prayers will reach him for sure..even if u make some mistakes, plz note some dialect has different pronunciation, thus Lord knows the intention, dont need to worry much.

It doesn't make sense for everybody to be perfect, otherwise Bhagawan wouldn't make so many dialects.
Krishna says, If one offers Me with love and devotion a leaf, a flower, a fruit or even water, I accept it.
So your intention and love for the supreme matters more in any case.

Sir I loved your videos but one thing I want to say is what I believe is the pronunciation of the word ब्रह्मः should be...
    Everyone pronounces it as (Bra.m.ha)
Whereas the word is actually ब्र ह् मः (Bra h ma)
Back when I noticed this I tried hard to get the pronunciation right. Now, I can do it comfortably and it always naturally gets pronounced correctly.

Hi, Yagnya in the Vedic Time meant to experiment (scientific experiments/research/producing or developing something) and not fire sacrifice as we call it today. Tell me how it all worked.
See, we know no magic used to happen back then. It is all technical knowledge encrypted in the Sanskrit hymns.
The word Divya doesn't means Divine it might have a meaning that would make something of special purpose.
Divya Netra - A Special Purpose Device for extra-ordinary Sight or something.
Putra kameshti yagya - Performed by Rishyashringa
Sharang Bow - Raam's Bow - A special purpose compound bow designed and developed to be most powerful in that era. It was 5 feet 5 inch high and extremely powerful to launch all kinds of heavy and explosive arrows (Divyastra - Special Weapons)
Pinaak broke away because it was not used for over 800 years and its material became brittle. When Lord Raam bent it to attach the string, it simply gave away.
Devas - They were like the Central Government (Highly praised people and humans were not allowed to enter the gates)
We lost everything - even the brains to understand our own texts. We don't have understanding of our own scriptures. We have become blind like muslims and christians who blindly follow their books. Our texts are simplified and exaggerated and cannot be taken as they are. We need to decipher the knowledge.

If you look at the meaning, it interprets somewhat like “enhance the enemy of Indra”.
Meaning should have higher parity than swar any day by all logics!

Granths and puraans narrated Indra's bio pic pretty well, how he all the time managed to keep his position saved as indra. In Sage Twasth's case it was the Indra again who managed to make Sage's pronunciation wrong which ultimately saved his life.

Its very interesting. But i can't understand why you are using Western note system like d d# etc while explaining, that is not our standard, we must use terms from our own sastras. If we see the actual meaning or effect of Western notes we would stop using them as reference , because they have got negative energies as per Western musicology,
Sorry if my comment hurts you, I'm a bit purist...🙏

Ved is only for Brahmans, no other can chant it,
If anyone excluding (Brahmin with Janeu) chants Ved mantras cut their tounge
If anyone listen Ved mantras put liquid glass in their ear
And if anyone one remembered the Ved mantras cut them in two parts
Ved is only for Brahmans, you can got knowledge of Ved from Brahmans not listen Mantras
For your information, Did you ever listened Krishna knows Ved mantras, Ram knows Ved mantras but you may hearded about Parshuram knows all Veda and he gave knowledge both of them, Ravan knows Veda all Brahmans knows so
Don't do any mistake don't chat Ved mantra if you're not a Brahman, you can learn all the things except Veds.
If you like my words then please like it, thank you🙏 if you listen my words. There are much things to learn other than Veds and you can get Ved mantras meaning if you want but don't chant it.

Krishna literally explained the contents of the vedas and upanishads to arjuna in the bhagavad gita. Doesn't that imply krishna knew the texts.

Krishna knows Vedas very well , he mentioned among Vedas he is samaveda , among Rishi he is usna ( pre Vedic rishis , rigveda 1.1 most ancient Vedic Rishi were glorified for worshiping Agni usana is counted in it )
Krishna showed a Virat roopa which is nothing but rigvedic concept of "purusha" or Virat purusha in rigveda
Krishna knows Vedas and it's practical use and philosophy more than rattu tote Brahmin ( not all but most )
