Any system that can't deviate from written sources is a dead system. That would be reducing the infinite divine down to the words written by people thousands of years ago. To not allow personal experience a place what good is it? Why try to wake your Kundalini if you don't want to personally connect with it? It sounds like you are trying to reduce the spirituality of the system into just another slave religion

The pronunciation is not Samskrutha. It is Sanskrit. These days the 'Ri' sound is incorrectly pronounced as 'Ru' especially in the south and Gujarat. Also, if there is a bindu on top of a vyanjan (consonant) and followed by another vyanjan, then the pronunciation is 'na' rather than 'ma', hence 'Sanskrit' rather than 'Samskrit'. If there is no following vyanjana then it is pronounced as 'ma', so on its own sa with a bindu would've been pronounced as 'sam'.

A way to awaken Muladhara chakra is to concentrate on the location of the chakra and chant the seed syllable mantra of Muladhara chakra, which is - Lam. Sit in any comfortable meditative posture with spine erect. Chant mentally the Bija mantra 'Lam ' very slowly and with full awareness. Continue the chanting and concentration on the chakra as long as you are comfortable. One may start from 5 minutes and go up to 1 hour of this practice.

There was no writer for Sanskrit, it is the language revealed by Brahman to humans, the humans of that time with the greatest memory didn't write it down, they knew the importance of sound amd chant, so they remembered the entire Vedas in one go, and revealed to each other through sound. When 5500 years ago ved vyasa saw people losing their memorizing power he wrote them down into the 4 Vedas.

Thank you! So glad someone is giving accurate detail with great detail. So much misinformation out there nowadays. You know sometimes I feel a whirling at the base of my spine while sitting or meditating, so strong it sometimes feels like I start moving back and forth in meditation, I've felt my kundalini start from there and rise up gradually. Also is it bad to take medications when kundalini is active? Especially medications that affect the nervous system?
