I have had diabetes since 1995'. I use insulin 4 times a day. It becomes absolutely 2nd nature. Please don't put off seeing a doctor. You may not even have to take insulin and can control it with diet and exercise!! Believe me, diabetes IS controllable and it sure beats having Cancer!!

I usually pullout some of the liquid from the vile to the injection and then push it back in the vile over and over again to make sure all the bubbles are gone. The last time I pull out and pull out a bit more and slowly put push it back to the right amount and then I'm good to go.

You didn't say anything about prep pads you must clean the area of the injection site before injection yourself. I hope no one gets an infection because you left it out of this instruction video!

i believe the needle should be in place upon injecting insulin to make sure, just to make sure that all the insulin is delivered. but great video!

Why is it after injection my ab bleeds after removing the needle

45 deg going upwards since technically it's 45-90 for SQ but don't go deep or else you'll get muscle which we don't want for insulin
