nice video and thanks for you kindness looking at the form you will notice there are two start and end dates, one at the top and the other towards down, which is the actula one to use
One is national id issue date & other is passport issue date, if you asking something else then send me the screenshot at Dr_Khan@consultant.com This video will guide you the rules for this visa. th-cam.com/video/mLlyTitYUY4/w-d-xo.html
Hi , thank you for the video i have few questions 1. does the migrant need to leave and re-enter the UK during the period of approval? my current employer answered it as Y, and when I questioned this, they said it's what they usually do and that's for me to travel outside the UK during the period of the visa. I already got the visa and I had travelled outside as well. now my new employer has answered it N and I have asked to change it to Y. now watching this video, I'm not sure which one's correct? 2. at what stage do I know I can apply for a priority visa? is it after I have paid the IHS fees? 3. at what stage is the application considered as submitted because my 3 months within joining date will not start in another 3 weeks. But I would like to know if I will be able to apply for priority option now itself.
Send me screenshot of the question, so I will be better capacity to answer Dr_Khan@consultant.com The time you will select biometric, you will see the option for biometric, after the ihs and visa application fees. The intend to travel date has to be before you work start date. If you mention this question in dates then it will be more clear for me to answer.
You will get the UAN number and that is how you will ink the application, if you watch my dependent video, you will get the idea th-cam.com/video/8d6SbYyc1o0/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/hPMjQV6n8TM/w-d-xo.html
Thank you so much! As my dependent is already in Uk and they’ll be applying visa after I receive the decision, in this case I’ve to mention yes or no, please? Thank you
Hello Sir, when i am filling application, its asking Use your partner's passport to complete this section. If you cannot provide your partner's current and valid passport as part of this application, select 'No'." if i choose YES, at the end its asking Here, are they asking physical passport or soft copy? my wife is in india. please let me know which option i need to choose? thank you
In the Skilled Worker visa application where it asks for your partner's passport information, they are referring to the physical passport and not a soft copy. Visa applications often involve verifying the authenticity of documents. This is difficult to do with a soft copy. Biometric information, such as passport photos and fingerprints, are linked to physical passports and used for identity verification during the application process. Since your wife is in India and doesn't have her passport with you in London, you should select "No". This won't prevent her from applying as a dependent on your Skilled Worker visa. You can proceed with the application using your own documents and proof of your relationship with your wife. The UK government website (www.gov.uk/skilled-worker-visa/your-partner-and-children) outlines the evidence required to demonstrate a genuine relationship. This could include things like marriage certificates, joint bank statements, or cohabitation documents. Your wife will likely need to submit her passport details and a copy of the biodata page at a later stage, possibly during a biometric appointment in India.
In my COS employer put no in the section says maintenance of any migrant or dependent. However, I am going to apply with my family. Is that all right? If not then how it works for me ?
Great Channel doctor. I have a question after getting the skill work permit. Beside the job hired can you work on the side. E.g. Uber, Free Now and so on.
Main sponsor: Check the conditions imposed by your specific visa sponsorship. Some employers explicitly restrict additional work, while others might allow it under certain limitations. Visa category: Your specific Skilled Worker visa category might have regulations regarding additional work. For example, the Global Talent visa allows additional work, while others might not. In reality, many applicant do that to make extra money. Any deep inside details if you need then email me directly at dr_khan@consultant.com and I can guide privately.
Will the UKVI give me 10 days to provide a missing document? I am still waiting my verifiction report from ECCTIS and I have submitted my skilled worker visa application. I did priority visa
To be honest, you should have wait until all documents were with you. As if they refuse and then they will give you enough time to apply for AR, but decision for AR can take x amount of time, as there is no time line provided for it (Do say 6 months) Check this video comments to get an idea what am talking about. th-cam.com/video/Dt1eU0MPdJc/w-d-xo.html

If I was a resident of India till 2021 before moving to the UK, do I need to mention that in "Have you been to any other countries in the past 10 years?"
So if you are in India and making this application from India then 'No' will be the answer. You staying in UK and filling this application from UK but in the last 10 years you were in any other country (this question is not about nationality) so you have to answer 'Y' and mention India. This question, relates to credibility check / criminal check in the last 10 years. Hope that answer the question !!!
Hi, can I please know if you were asked to attend a face to face appointment to provide biometric information if you have provided your BRP number during the application process? I had BRP when I was a student, but I was on eVisa for the graduate visa. So, I selected the option which indicated that I did not have a BRP for my most recent leave during the application, is this a correct option? And now, I am asked to book a biometric information collection appointment, is that normal too?
Yes, it is normal to be asked to attend a biometric information collection appointment even if you have provided your BRP number during the application process. The reason for this is that the UK government may need to verify your identity and eligibility for the visa. This can be done through a biometric appointment, where your fingerprints and facial image will be scanned. If you had a BRP for your student visa but were on an eVisa for your graduate visa, it is correct to select the option indicating that you did not have a BRP for your most recent leave. This is because your eVisa was a separate visa application and may not be linked to your previous BRP. Therefore, it is not unusual to be required to attend a biometric appointment even if you have previously held a BRP.

Hello, I was just applying for my skilled worker visa I was asked about my status that i am married Asked for my husband name. But no question if my husband is going to be a dependent. Have i done something wrong? Please please help me
I am working on a skilled worker visa in the UK. But My company’s ownership changed. I got new sponsorship letter from new employer. Which option should I need to choose updat or visa extended or just apply visa for visa application?
Passport don't have Home Address, the best practice is only use one address at all the places and mention in the cover letter that you have another address but you don't stay there and its not the correspondence address.
In the partner’s section, if my husband is switching from psw to skilled worker & I apply right after him from my home country will the answer be yes or no?
Yes ، you can apply for a Skilled Worker visa dependant on your husband even if he is switching from a PSW visa to a Skilled Worker visa. www.gov.uk/skilled-worker-visa/your-partner-and-children.You will use his UAN number to apply your application and it will be connected.
When applying from within the UK and also have worked in the UK for more than 3 years already, will it still ask to upload bank statement (1270£funds )while applying for skilled worker visa application for another employer under same job code?
Hello sir . I am a bit confused , I am filling my form now . The maintenance part is not popping up on my form. Although on my COS it says N could it be because I am in the post graduate visa pathway .
If your CoS says ‘N’ for maintenance, it could mean that your sponsor is not certifying maintenance for you. In this case, you might need to show that you have personal savings by bank statement. The visa officer will go via your documents you will provide as evidence like bank statement etc. Watch this guidance might helps: th-cam.com/video/mLlyTitYUY4/w-d-xo.html
Hi, I have stated that I will upload a verification from ECCTIS but I want to upload IELTS instead, can I change this after I have submitted my visa application form?
If fees paid and now waiting for the biometric then yes you can upload this document and also upload a cover letter explaining the case. For Visa Officer, any one documents is important. If Biometric done then no you can't upload document, in that case once they refuse then you will apply for Administrative Review providing new evidence.
My sponsor is not providing maintenance, but I have been living in the UK for 2.5 years. Do I still need to provide bank statements for financial maintenance?
You likely don't need to provide bank statements in this case. The UK government website states that you and your dependents don't need to show funds if you have been living in the UK for 12 months or more with permission on the date of application GOV.UK. Since you've been residing in the UK for 2.5 years, you meet the 12-month requirement. However, it's always recommended to provide in order to proof that you not claiming any public funds and everything is transparent. Decision is yours!!!
If we are already in the uk, what are the further steps after the declaration? Do we have to upload the xos letter and all the docs? Because in the end after you pay IHS, there is another option provide evidence?
I am applying under health and care worker visa. I am married, and my wife will join me later in the UK as my dependent. As I want a fast decision to my visa application, in the question "will any other family members applying to come to uk" should I answer yes? And If I ask no what happens? And in the question " Are your partner or children applying with you?" I suppose is no. Please help me
Yes, if your Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) is issued for 5 years, you can initially apply for a 3-year visa and extend it later. This approach is often used to manage the initial costs associated with the visa application fee and the Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS) for a shorter term. When you decide to extend your visa, you will need to apply for an extension before your current visa expires. Your employer will need to issue a new CoS for the extension. But personally, I will say just go with 5 year, cuz you don't know what may change with sponsor.
I fill up the online application up to documents, but I did not encounter a question about family member that will apply to go to UK later on. why maybe? thank you 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Did you mention at the start that you applying on your own and you have no dependents ? Even if you don't get that question, you can still apply for dependent Visa. For example, Mr A was not married when applied the SWV, but while he was waiting for the decision, he got married and now want to apply dependent visa. th-cam.com/video/8d6SbYyc1o0/w-d-xo.html
Hi Sir, Thank you for sharing knowledge through youtube videos and bringing awareness in public. I have a question and looking for an answer kindly guide. In Sep 2023 I submitted my study visa application since it took long time for decision and university didn't extend I opted to withdraw my application and it was accepted and got refund. After few months I realised from the documents I submitted for study visa that tenure of my experiences were incorrect in CV submitted and latest organization details were missed out in CV. Now I want to apply for work visa and I am getting fear as my CV will be different with the one submitted in study visa. Also the latest organization I have to update now. What shall I do. Will it cause me any problem. Will they raise any question why CV or experiences are not properly updated. Pls guide. Thank you Naveen
Hi Naveen, CV you provided was to the Uni and may be to the Home Office (Which is less likely as Home Officer never ask for it). Home Office check previous application not the CV, You can download your previous application and what ever you said in that application must match, else you provide complete justifications in the cover letter. Since, it was only 3 months ago so you cant just ignore this small detail. Also, would like to share experience of Mr X, who use to work one full time job and one part time job, but when he applied for Uni he mentioned only about the Part Time Job but when he applied for Health Care worker Visa, he mentioned about his Day Time Carer Job and also mentioned about the part time job. Read it twice...
Please i need a guard line . please i apply for skill worker visa.and i have gone for my biometric . yesterday i got a mail from vac.regarding additional documents for which i used in applying my Ecctis.secondly i was asked to withdraw my application an reapply again for the right code of my occupation.so how may i go about that and i wrote to the home office yesterday waiting for their respond on how to go a out it .will i be paying a new visa money.for reapplying for the right occupation code .or are they refunding me back.thirdly my COS is expiring in 3 day so will that affect my visa
It's important to use the correct code for your specific job. Withdrawing and reapplying with the right code seems like the recommended course. They will refund but refund will take time, just pay from separate funds you have and you will get refund if you withdraw application If you apply before CoS it won't effect the Visa, but explain in the cover letter for Visa Officer. If you apply after CoS is expired then there will be an issue. Another option is Explain the situation to Employer and ask if they can extend the CoS. This is the ideal scenario.
@@UKknowledgeGuru thank you I have written to my employer today and that the will get back at me so my next question is please so the sake of not to make same mistake again .can I ask the the TLs to help with their assisted services do the payment of my visa fees and also upload my documents for me ?
Please I need urgent advice I have made a withdrawal of my application to reapply again the big question it’s does it mean I have to also pay again for the IHS fee the the reapplying again .someone said that I don’t have to use the IHS that I paid for in the second application that I have to paid another one since I used it to apply on the first advise please.my heart is burning
They just check that all documents which are provided are in order, They won't look for any mistakes you done in the application. You are the best person for your own visa application.
And why you wana do that ? Stay on dependent and complete 5 years on it. But if you switching to skilled and your partner switching to dependent. In that case then you just follow this guide : th-cam.com/video/mLlyTitYUY4/w-d-xo.html
I am in process of filling my skilled worker visa application. I have dependents already in the UK who are planning to switch to the skilled worker dependents visa upon the expiry of their current visa which is May 2025. How should I respond to the following questions? 1. Will any other family members be applying to come to the UK? 2. Are your partner or children applying with you? Any advice or insights on how to navigate these questions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
1. Will any other family members be applying to come to the UK? Answer: Yes. My dependents (partner/spouse and children - specify their relationship) are currently in the UK on a visa that expires in May 2025. They will be applying to switch to a Skilled Worker dependent visa upon my successful application. 2. Are your partner or children applying with you? Answer: No. My dependents (partner/spouse and children - specify their relationship) are already in the UK on a valid visa until May 2025. They will be applying to switch to a Skilled Worker dependent visa after my application is approved. You can find additional information and guidance on the UKVI website www.gov.uk/skilled-worker-visa or by contacting their helpline.

Hey I will get my cos tomorrow what’s the process next how much cost will it take and in how much time I will get visa decision and also what’s your result have u got it?❤❤❤
Hello, I just filled out my application form and my application form did not have a category called linking code or family members? I am planning to bring my wife and children with me later. Will this be a problem? Thanks in advance
You're absolutely right. The linking code and family members sections are not typically part of the main skilled worker visa application form. These details are relevant when you're applying for your dependents (spouse and children) to join you in the UK.
I am switching to Tier 2 visa. My dependents is not applying now, they are doing only after 5 months, as they got a valid visa now. . In section of family linking code if i type yes, it says my application may not be decided until all family members who are applying to come UK have applied. So will affect time frame of my decision
You're right, there can be a potential delay in your Tier 2 Skilled Worker visa application if you answer "yes" to the family linking code section and your dependents plan to apply later. Here's why: Family Linking Code: When you answer "yes" to the family linking code, it indicates you have dependents intending to join you in the UK. The UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) may want to assess your application alongside your dependents' applications to ensure everything aligns (relationship, finances etc.). Possible Delays:Waiting for Dependent Applications: If your dependents don't apply within a reasonable timeframe after yours, UKVI might delay your decision until they receive their applications. This is to ensure a complete picture of your situation. What You Can Do: Consider Applying Together: If possible, it might be faster for everyone to apply at the same time. This streamlines the process for UKVI. Explain the Situation: If applying together isn't an option, you can explain the situation in the cover letter of your application. Mention your dependents will apply in 5 months and provide a valid reason for the delay (e.g., utilizing existing visa, finishing school term). Hope this helps.
Thank you. But further when we move down, again they are asking a question like whether your dependents applying now and we are answering there no. So then will it affect my decision time.
There is no qualification requirements, as long company issues you CoS Certificate of Sponsorship. Yes, you do need to give IELTS General. .... Cost is the fees and IHS fees. Which I have discussed in the video, can't remember top of my head.
Sir could you please tell how to mention employment history ? Right now I'm on student visa and successful done my course so what should I write on skilld work visa application because I'm not going to Graduate visa.Right now I'm working 20 hours per week should i mention it on my skilld workers visa application employment history ? How to give my current employer detail like it's company name or something ? More then 10 times i watched this video thank you sir for your free service ❤
So from Student Visa you switching to Skilled Worker Visa....And you in UK working 20 hrs on National Insurance In that case, yes do mention about your previous job as on HMRC record it will reflect and if you don't disclose then this will be questionable (if cash in hand then its a different story) The Home Office is bit strict cuz people are purchasing Carer Visa and they have no experience of it Also check the CoS is genuine and you not being scammed !!! hi I am in UK on dependent visa currently ,me and my wife came on a project in UK ,company sponsored us but project is going to end in june ,now can I apply for skilled worker visa
Yes, you may be able to apply for a Skilled Worker visa in the UK even though your dependent visa is tied to a project ending in June. You must have a confirmed job offer from a Home Office-approved sponsor for a position that meets the Skilled Worker visa requirements. This includes minimum salary thresholds and skill level.
regarding the family linking code in the visa application, currently i am in dependent visa of my husband having 3 year tier2 skilled visa and myself and 2 kids in UK now. i am going to switch from dependent visa to skilled visa, in that case, should i need to provide any details in linking code for family membes
Am assuming, you will be the main applicant for the SWV and your family will then be on your dependent visa. When you will fill the application, you will get UAN code, save it. And when you will apply for your family that time you will need that code to link the application. Watch this dependent visa application for an idea. th-cam.com/video/hPMjQV6n8TM/w-d-xo.html

Your husband is currently on a 3-year Skilled Worker visa in the UK (expires next year). You and your 2 children are in the UK on dependent visas linked to your husband's visa. You've obtained a Certificate of Sponsorship (COS) for a Skilled Worker visa. Your family's dependent visas are not automatically affected by you switching to a Skilled Worker visa. Their visas will remain valid until their original expiry date. You don't necessarily need to update the family linking code immediately. However, if you update then it ensures your family's applications are linked to your new visa status if they apply for their visas after yours is granted. Hope that helps...
Hi, I am 25 year old and arrived in uk on skilled worker visa in June 2023, my current visa cancelled and given 60 days notice, now changing employment to skilled worker visa, what salary should I be paid ?, 38700 or 30960 ?
The higher salary of £38,700 is the one that should be mentioned in your Certificate of Sponsorship (COS) and your Skilled Worker visa application (updating visa) As of April 4, 2024, the minimum general salary threshold for Skilled Worker visas increased to £38,700 per year. Your Situation: You are applying for a new Skilled Worker visa, not an extension of your previous one. New applications fall under the latest regulations, so the £38,700 threshold applies. There are a few exceptions where a lower salary might be considered: Immigration Salary List: If your occupation is on the list (www.gov.uk/government/publications/skilled-worker-visa-immigration-salary-list/skilled-worker-visa-immigration-salary-list), you might qualify for a lower salary (80% of the standard rate). However, this is unlikely as the list is mainly for health and care worker visas. This system allows for a lower salary if you have certain qualifications or experience that give you points, you didn't mention much about it so I can't comment but you can check on the link I shared. However, this is a complex system and likely not relevant in your case. Hope this helps...
@@UKknowledgeGuru it was bit confusing at UKVI website under updating visa and saying as following: Eligibility and documents you’ll need to apply Your new job must meet the eligibility requirements and you’ll need a new certificate of sponsorship to prove this. Hi @UKknowledgeGuru, I am applying with partner for Skilled worker (update visa route) with my spouse. Do I need to initiate a new separate application for my spouse? We both have the same visa end date and aim to apply together. Thanks in advance.
Thank you so much@@UKknowledgeGuru . Does that mean that the beta version of the UKVI website does not allow you to submit a joint application for both the main applicant and dependents all at once with just one payment, as the old UKVI website did? Additionally, can the main applicant be on priority and the dependents on the standard process? I really appreciate your help here.
You're absolutely right! The current beta version of the UKVI website does not currently allow submitting a joint application for a Skilled Worker visa and its dependents. This means you cannot pay for and submit both applications simultaneously as you could with the older website. Yes, the main can apply for priority and dependent can apply as normal, since they all separate fees and applications.
@@UKknowledgeGuru Thank you for your quick response. I have another doubt regarding the following question: Where did you spend time outside the UK for more than 2 weeks? Do I need to include the time I spent in India (my nationality) since I arrived in the UK? This question was not there in my previous applications.
Yes, the Aadhaar card number is considered the de facto national identity number of India. While there is no officially declared "national identity number" in the country, the Aadhaar card, issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), serves as a unique identification number for all Indian residents. It is a 12-digit number linked to an individual's biometric and demographic data, including fingerprints, iris scans, and photographs. You can also use Passport as ID too, which one best ? Best is use both for the Home Office.
So for people applying with you. I am on the psw and husband is dependent visa. We both are in UK and will apply for my husbands dependent visa after i apply for my skilled worker visa. So will that be yes or no then?
@@UKknowledgeGuru Hi, I am switching from a Graduate visa, but my dependants won't be applying until next year as they still have some time left on their dependant visas. do i tick yes or no to the question, will any family member be applying to come to the Uk with you? thanks
Yes, a Skilled Worker visa can be issued for as little as one year even though the maximum validity period is 5 years. our employer, acting as your sponsor, specifies the contract duration (1 year in this case) on the Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) they issue you.
Thank you for sharing knowledge Can I apply skilled worker visa inside uk with 2months of passport validity ??? Because in our embassy there is no appointment date before march ??
Applying for a Skilled Worker visa inside the UK with two months of passport validity is a complex situation with potential risks and benefits. Possible rejection: According to UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) guidelines, your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond the intended date of your stay in the UK. Applying with only two months remaining could lead to your application being rejected. At this time I would say phone UKBA and ask if its possible as you are inside the UK.
You can try but don't pay just phone and ask, cuz they probably would say No, you cannot apply for a Skilled Worker visa inside the UK with only 2 months of passport validity. It is a mandatory requirement for your passport to be valid for at least 6 months beyond the intended date of your visa stay. This is a critical aspect for UK immigration authorities to ensure your travel document remains valid throughout the visa application process and potential travel to the UK. Which country you from ? Is there any super priority service ?
@@UKknowledgeGuru yeah I talked with some solicitors … most of they said I can do … m from Nepal , in our embassy there is no appointment date before march …
Yes, you can take your husband with you if you apply for a Skilled Worker visa in the UK. Your husband can apply to join you or stay in the UK as your ‘dependant’ if he’s eligible. What is your Job Code ?
Hii…for the maintenance part in the COS if me being the applicant within UK I understand that i do not need bank statement but in the end section it also says in bracket for dependents so does that mean if my partner comes to uk later she needs to show my bank statement as she will be coming as my dependent or she does not need to provide my bank statements?
It's true that the UK immigration maintenance requirements can be confusing, especially when it comes to dependents. If your CoS says "y" in the financial section then your dependent don't need to show the financial stability. Here's the breakdown for your situation: You (the applicant within the UK): You generally do not need to provide your bank statements if you are already living in the UK and applying for your partner's visa as a dependent. This is because you have established financial stability within the UK. However, there are certain exceptions to this rule. For example, if you have been recently unemployed or your income has changed significantly, you may still be required to submit your bank statements to demonstrate your financial ability to support both yourself and your partner. Your partner (the dependent): Your partner may need to provide your bank statements as part of their visa application, even though you are already in the UK. This is because the immigration authorities want to ensure that you have sufficient funds to support both of you financially. The need for your partner to provide your bank statements depends on several factors, such as: Your combined income: If your joint income meets the maintenance requirement, your partner's bank statements may not be required. Your partner's financial situation: If your partner has their own income and savings, they may not need to rely on your bank statements.
@@UKknowledgeGuru in the very beginning of your message you said if it is Y in my cos than my partner does not need to show any maintenance funds. So if i am already a recent for example a week in skilled worker visa. And in my cos it is y for maintenance where the section has dependents in bracket. So now after a week i want to apply for my partner than will i be needing to provide any proof of maintenance while her application?
If CoS says Y then you don't need to provide proof of funds, so yes go ahead and apply. Cases, where the dependent are doubtful and relationship have issues like previous wife etc then Home Office send email for clarifications and supporting documents. If your case is genuine then don't worry and go ahead and apply.
@@UKknowledgeGuru Thankyou so much. And one last thing this does not matter even if the dependent is applying from outside the uk right ? I mean applying first time from outside UK she will not need if it is “Y” in that CoS section ?
It wont matter if she is outside the UK as that is why this is known as dependent visa so skilled worker can bring wife, as soon you select that Financial section is mentioned Y then it wont ask for any documents. I will try to fill one live skilled worker dependent form this week and will upload a video for guidance. Its easy don't worry too much, as your case is genuine.
I’m student in uk and my wife is dependent . So now she got skilled work visa and she s switching her visa to skilled worker visa so when they ask English language ability can I give No ? If I give No they reject for the visa or not ?? Or If I give Yes can I give her ielts academic or I must give ielts general only ???
If your wife is applying for a Skilled Worker visa in the UK, demonstrating English language proficiency is a requirement. You should answer "Yes" to the question about her English language ability. Providing "No" would likely result in the application being rejected. As for which type of IELTS test she should take, for a Skilled Worker visa, she should take the IELTS Academic test, not the IELTS General Training test.
okie, thats good, If she already got the Academic IELTS then it should be accepted. On Gov.Uk its not mentioned that its accepted or not. But logically, she done the IELTS which is harder so it should be accepted. Sorry, I can't say anything which is not mentioned on the Gov.uk as that is the only source I can use for the guidance purpose. The guidance says this "For a skilled worker visa application you will need to complete B1 IELTS Life Skills with a 4.0 score overall and for each listening, reading, writing and speaking individually."
You will apply on gov.uk website, that is the only genuine website. If you want to know what is skilled worker visa and rules and how to find job, watch this video th-cam.com/video/Fk510o0cDts/w-d-xo.html
Yes sure, I have created a Free Guidance in which I have discussed everything. If you watch it 2-3 times and ask your wife to watch it too then you can apply easily without any solicitor. Does your CoS says Financial Requirement Yes ? Here is the guide th-cam.com/video/8d6SbYyc1o0/w-d-xo.html

Hi , thank you for the video
i have few questions
1. does the migrant need to leave and re-enter the UK during the period of approval? my current employer answered it as Y, and when I questioned this, they said it's what they usually do and that's for me to travel outside the UK during the period of the visa.
Send me screenshot of the question, so I will be better capacity to answer
Dr_Khan@consultant.com
The time you will select biometric, you will see the option for biometric, after the ihs and visa application fees.
The intend to travel date has to be before you work start date. If you mention this question in dates then it will be more clear for me to answer.

Hello Sir,
when i am filling application, its asking
Use your partner's passport to complete this section. If you cannot provide your partner's current and valid passport as part of this application, select 'No'."
if i choose YES, at the end its asking
Here, are they asking physical passport or soft copy?
my wife is in india.
please let me know which option i need to choose?
thank you
In the Skilled Worker visa application where it asks for your partner's passport information, they are referring to the physical passport and not a soft copy.

@@UKknowledgeGuru Thank you for your reply. Appreciate it.
Is criminal record mandatory for all professions or only a certain professions as mentioned on the UKVI's website like health, education etc.?

Hello, i am updating my VISA (switching employers) on the 'Employment History' should I put YES/NO?
Yes and provide the previous employer details.
I am working on a skilled worker visa in the UK. But My company’s ownership changed. I got new sponsorship letter from new employer.
Which option should I need to choose updat or visa extended or just apply visa for visa application?
Update option you need to choose.
Sir
I have two different address in passport and other documents. So, Which address should I keep while filling for application ?
No, It wont ask for the bank statement

Hi, if the COS is issued for 5years can the employee still apply for 3years visa first and extend it later?
Pls guide.

It's important to use the correct code for your specific job. Withdrawing and reapplying with the right code seems like the recommended course.
They will refund but refund will take time, just pay from separate funds you have and you will get refund if you withdraw application
If you apply before CoS it won't effect the Visa, but explain in the cover letter for Visa Officer. If you apply after CoS is expired then there will be an issue. Another option is Explain the situation to Employer and ask if they can extend the CoS. This is the ideal scenario.

Watch this video, in which I filled dependent application and showed how link code will appear

Here's why:
Family Linking Code: When you answer "yes" to the family linking code, it indicates you have dependents intending to join you in the UK.
What You Can Do:
Consider Applying Together: If possible, it might be faster for everyone to apply at the same time.

The higher salary of £38,700 is the one that should be mentioned in your Certificate of Sponsorship (COS) and your Skilled Worker visa application (updating visa)
As of April 4, 2024, the minimum general salary threshold for Skilled Worker visas increased to £38,700 per year.
Your Situation:
You are applying for a new Skilled Worker visa, not an extension of your previous one. New applications fall under the latest regulations, so the £38,700 threshold applies.
There are a few exceptions where a lower salary might be considered:
Immigration Salary List: If your occupation is on the list (www.gov.uk/government/publications/skilled-worker-visa-immigration-salary-list/skilled-worker-visa-immigration-salary-list), you might qualify for a lower salary (80% of the standard rate).

You're absolutely right! The current beta version of the UKVI website does not currently allow submitting a joint application for a Skilled Worker visa and its dependents.

Hi, I have job offer from uk and also have CoS. Still do I need to prove my english language proficiency?
Yes, watch this video before you apply visa th-cam.com/video/mLlyTitYUY4/w-d-xo.html
Hello if I apply for skilled worker visa after 11th of march can I take my husband with me plzzzz guide
Here's the breakdown for your situation:
You (the applicant within the UK):
You generally do not need to provide your bank statements if you are already living in the UK and applying for your partner's visa as a dependent. This is because you have established financial stability within the UK.
However, there are certain exceptions to this rule. For example, if you have been recently unemployed or your income has changed significantly, you may still be required to submit your bank statements to demonstrate your financial ability to support both yourself and your partner.
Your partner (the dependent):
Your partner may need to provide your bank statements as part of their visa application, even though you are already in the UK. This is because the immigration authorities want to ensure that you have sufficient funds to support both of you financially.
The need for your partner to provide your bank statements depends on several factors, such as:
Your combined income: If your joint income meets the maintenance requirement, your partner's bank statements may not be required.
Thanks a lot for your reply
So ielts academic is fine to apply skilled work visa you mean rite
Yes, but why would you do difficult one when easy one is available.
@@UKknowledgeGuruwhat you mean ? She is having ielts idp academic already so I thought like this
okie, thats good, If she already got the Academic IELTS then it should be accepted.
Can someone help me how I can inbox the Dr for confidential questions please

Hi brother i want to apply visa for my wife i am on skilled worker visa she is in india right now
Yes sure, I have created a Free Guidance in which I have discussed everything. If you watch it 2-3 times and ask your wife to watch it too then you can apply easily without any solicitor. Does your CoS says Financial Requirement Yes ? Here is the guide th-cam.com/video/8d6SbYyc1o0/w-d-xo.html
My cousin applied skill worker finance administrator, for dependant she was not asked to pay IHS charges for her dependant. Is it exempted for finance administrator 4129 code
Finance Administrator (Occupation code 4129) typically wouldn't qualify for that exemption.
@@UKknowledgeGuruI mean for their dependants
@@UKknowledgeGuruthank you ,my question, is dependant exempted, because zero amount for their dependents when she was trying to pay for their dependant IHS charges online link which was provided through gov.uk
