In the visual customization, you can make the STi look like the S203 special (Type A front, skirt, and I think rear, then the type B rear wing)
And like a Spec C too
Wish they done that for the evo 3 and made it so u can put the evo 1 and 2 bumpers and spoilers on
It's a Good Idea when Poly's would put Evo IX in the game and bring parts from Evo VII and VIII ...
Hoping to see bugeye WRX STI return one day. That variant of the GD WRX is so underrated
Besides the NFS underground nostalgia, not a fan of it’s look tbh. Plus I think this model was the more successful one?
@@Alp577 well the bugeye only ran for two years, but at least it managed to secure a driver's title on its debut at least.
I personally think it looks the best out of the three variants, I always loved it since I first saw the rally version in GT Concept. So glad Codemasters brought it back in Dirt Rally 2.0
@@Alp577as a kid i hate bugeye so much, but now is really grown on me, its actually kinda the most unique Impreza. Conversely i used to love hawkeye so much but now i think its look weird, its not bad but i think the grille make it uglier than it used to be. So yeah, blobeye it's the most safe compared to the two.
I'd love to see the hawkeye STI, which is one of my favorite dream car!
One of my childhood favorite cars. Before there was the ZR1, there was the STi. I hope they'll add the 2010 model in a future update. Though technically, it's kinda there as a prop piece in the Tuning Section and GT Auto.
That’s the 2011-2013 wide body variant that’s in the “prop piece”
@@LovelliousEvery STi from 08 to 14 was widebody. The Wrx wasn't till 11 to 14.
@@popemobile12 the only sti from 08 to 2011 was the hatch no sedan just slim body
@@Lovellious The hatch from 08 to 11 was widebody. Every STi was. The only narrow bodies from 08 to 11 were the Wrx sedan and hatch.
They've improved the quality of the mirrors in the interior view!
Man, people that say that GT7 don't look good graphics wise are insane. LOL
By far the best WRX subaru created
I didn't expect that they reused the unequal length-headered, and besides, *tuned* sound also for this car (recorded from a tuned 22B), which means being heavily different from this car's actual sound.
The start-up sound also seems to be another take of the recording of the said 22B.
Still sounds good, hundred times better than in GT6 and before but yes they should have recorded the sound of the real 04 STI. That said with the sports exhaust, upgraded manifold and some other light tuning it does sound pretty good.
Wow good ear. How did you know it was tuned? Was it the high rpms that gave it away?
@@ShanesAutos
I hoped it to be close to the one from WRX STI '14 or just as it sounded in GT4P-GT6 Ver.1.20.
@@itsrtvbaby
The recording sample 22B is owned by Akira Teshima, the designer of GC Impreza himself.
His car has (at least) an aftermarket exhaust.
I was under the impression that the 2004 STi had unequal length headers (even in Japan) but the Spec C had equal length headers due to its twin scroll turbo setup? Not sure, I'm getting conflicting results on Google, need to ask someone with proper hands-on experience with these cars to find the truth
One if my favourite cars as a kid, as well as tge rally variant
Yaaaaayy. We have Spec C spoiler and S203 spoiler at 02:16
Missed opportunity that PD don't bring the "WRC Style" spoiler, But beggars can't be chosser i guess.
Havent had this car since gt6. So excited to drive it again. This car is what started it all for me.
This specific model was not in gran turismo 6 but there was premium 2007 subaru wrx impreza sti type c
@@olavofernandes7286 it was in gt6. It wasn’t a premium model but it was in the game
Love the reflaction on dashboard
this looks really good
Superb driving. Cool car.
It's a beast of a car! I love it!
Its JDM model but it have Rumble sounds from unequal header, compared to the real life JDM spec that have more plainer sounding because its uses equal header. It's weird because VA Subaru STI in this game have equal header sounding instead of this.
I love the STi
Damn so beautiful
Hopefully they add the GRB hatchback.
At least in game You don't have to worry about headgasket xDD
Legend car
Old Cars its better than the new Cars😎
now we need is a hawkeye
Cool but I wonder why there’s no Subaru spell out badge on the rear/trunk
Japanese spec
I want all Subaru models and Mitsubishi lancer evo models
🤌🤌🤌🤌 que carro lindo, um dia terei um
Where do you go an do that ? Test drive?
Time trial
@@MotoGamesTV ok thx👍🏽
Remember in GT4 it sounded like a vacuum cleaner
Car sounds in Gran Turimso have sucked up until GT Sport, there's still room for improvement as well
Doesn’t sound Boxer engine “rumble”
I like Japanese cars, but my friend, this Japanese has to put cars from Europe, I'm still waiting for the Lexus LFA and nothing but a Japanese car
LFA is a Japanese car tho?
@@KikuraKun I know lol buggy now but I wanted to add it in the next one and more European cars
@@Superman-wi8sh polyphony digital is Japanese game dev
according to leak we will get LFA soon
