Which tip was most helpful to you?
So much in less than 8 minutes.!
All amazing as usual but other than a reminder to check your tuning frequently I do think I have an answer. The most helpful at this moment is a loose relaxed body so I can practice longer.
I have been faithfully making sure I start in tune and my cheap violin holds a tune.
Back to vibrato which is discouraging a little. I don't feel my fingers bend as well as they should. They are partly sideways
#6 Top-notch advice. You articulated the act of phrasing to become very pragmatic.
Supporting the pinky with the third..wow
@@deadmanswife3625 yes, relaxing makes everything more natural and fluent.
Augustin Hadelich is my favourite performer
Yes, he's great!
You are my favorite violinist
I'm so honored!
Karolina Protsenko is my favourite performer, right after Lindsay Sterling.
They both have a nice vibrato, can play fast and can still move around while playing.
nice explanation, it helped me a bit in some plays
Thank you so so much
I hope that one day I’ll be able to play like you! I’ve decided im gonna start taking the violin more seriously, I really hope I don’t give up on this
There are so many great violinists it's hard to pick a favorite. I do find myself listening to Sergei Krylov a lot. His performance of Toccata and Fugue in D min. is so incredible to me, I can listen to it every day (and sometimes I do...)!!! Thank you for this video, I still have so far to go before I can make notes sound like something more than just notes, but I will try.
Wonderful!
Wonderful video! Thinking about the melody of a piece while playing is extremely helpful! My favourite performers are Itzhak Perlman, Hilary Hahn and Julia Fischer. Thank you for your teaching, Zlata!❤
Thanks for sharing!
GREAT video AS ALWAYS!
Thank you very much!!! ❤🎉🎉
You, Perlman and Hahn are my favorite ones!!!
Aw, thanks so much!
The motivational and inspirational speech in last minutes was waaasom and helpful as well as....
Glad to hear that!
You are my favorite violinist Mrs. Zlata!
Yes Zlata is the one. Maybe her children one day but it's Unlikely she can be surpassed. So good and so much personality. Love to watch Zlata.
Thank you so much!
You made my morning! Well, who knows my kids will surpass me as they start a lot younger and have me 24/7 to give lessons on demand, haha! I didn't have that guidance at home.
My favorite performer is Tessa Lark. I ALSO LIKE NICOLA BENEDETTI. YEHUDI MENUHIN IS ALSO ONE OF MY FAVORITE.
Zlata your presentation has become amazingly accomplished and stands out amongst the many on TH-cam.
Thank you 🙏🏻
Ray chen is my favorite violinist 🤩
And with a good sense of humour!
Thank you so much for your videos. They are the best I've watched so far! My favorite performer is David Garrett, especially his interpretation of Humoresque. I play it over and over again hoping one day I can sound a 10th as good as he does.
The last part is very important thanks
You're so welcome!
As you mentioned if you play by the music sheet the music will sound like a robot player. The feelings need to be add when playing a song and you should be connected to the song
My favorite is absolutely Katica. I just really want to be similar to her but I know it takes too long
David Garret is my favourite .
Have you seen the movie Devil’s Violinist with him playing Paganini?

SO HELPFUL KEEP GOING
Glad it helped!
Hilary Hahn is my fav performer
Same!
Fantastic advice on musical direction and emphasis and an intelligent appreciation of the structure of a composition. I have often felt how a certain piece seems to long to go when listening to repertoires, your technical advice is very relevant to achieving such expression
You're welcome!
Hilary Hahn! 😍
I always love her Bach.
@@violinlounge Yes! 😍

Hi zalta Dee how are you . I am now extremely feeling your vocabulary violin playing is nothing but 80% bow technique . Our folks song will great respect around the world if we get properly bow technique on the emotional point .
@@desigunda6956 Love him too!
can you please put the playlists that you mention in the video to the description box? i usually watch in my mobile browser and not in app and then they wont show in the video ^^
and thanks for your always amazing tricks (i hope it is ok for a viola student to watch 🤭)
On mobile you can click the card that appears in the top right corner of the video. I believe I mentioned the beginner course playlist: th-cam.com/video/vlHpWvsW040/w-d-xo.html and the vibrato playlist th-cam.com/video/cdcFQ1L8Vw4/w-d-xo.html
@@violinlounge the cards wont show in mobile browser 😅 but thank you!
You are amazing!
And you are too ☺️
How can I make my pinky finger curved and relaxed when doing 4th finger vibrato? When I try, it just flattens out like if I was double-jointed, but I am not
Maybe do some pinky strengthening exercises like tapping the pinky. Also in vibrato try to have some support from the third finger.
Very very good information
Thanks and welcome
Thank you😍🌹🙏
You’re welcome ☺️

Ida Haendel !!

Double stops are so crazy hard sometimes . Any tips?
I've got a video coming up in two weeks on the major part of the Bach Chaconne. There will be some tips around double stops. In the meantime, this golden oldie might help: violinlounge.com/3-steps-practice-double-stops-violin-viola-violin-lounge-tv-225/
