    Truck is in great condition for the yr! I'm an Ecoboost lover as well, you are correct, they require attention to maintenance. Ya,there have been horror stories,but there are millions of these on the rd.I wouldnt be worried about the mileage. Please keep us updated as the mileage climbs.I drive a 19'F150 Lariat SuperCrew with 3.5 Ecoboost.

      Just like anything man! Same thing with the diesels, small turbo cars, etc. MAINTAIN them and you're usually fine. If they make 30 million ecoboost trucks and 70,000 of them have issues, you only hear about those 70,000. I plan on it! Should have some cool videos coming up soon, going camping shortly (towing the trailer) have a couple hunts this year, etc.

    I had a 2012 lariat f150. I sold it with 212k miles on the 3.5 eco boost engine. It still ran well and got 19 miles per gallon.

    Also, my 3.5 Ecoboost was in the shop the first year for three months. Clogged cat converter and a faulty intercooler. I filled a lemon law and low and behold it was fixed the next day. I would buy one again but would go 5.0 if I had a choice.

      I’ve heard great things about the 5.0. I work at a RAM store, so if I were to go v8 it would probably be a HEMI. Just easy to have serviced at work LOL.

    Bought one of these new, 2013 platinum with the 3.5 and I loved it, man it was a great truck. It got us from Milwaukee to Chattanooga on 1 tank of gas, just outstanding for mileage for a full size truck. The only reason I got rid of it was the damn touchscreen. That thing was the most unreliable, aggravating, god awful POS I’ve ever encountered. Fully crapped out and under warranty and not one Ford dealer would do a damn thing about it. That’s the only reason I got rid of it. There weren’t many financially feasible options to replace it or fix it myself like there are now. I still miss that truck

    I have a similar truck only differences is mine 2011 black, 3:73, coyote 5.0 V8 and mine has almost 111,000 miles. Mine really hadn't had any issues either

      Awesome man. I love the 5.0’s. Would’ve got one had their been the choice, but this truck was way too good of a deal at the time…

    Look on Auto Trader and raise the mileage to 200,000 plus and you’ll be blown away how many are on there, bot 3.5’s and 2.7’s. That is still a beautiful truck, have a friend in Longview Texas with that same year 3.5 king Ranch with 390,000 miles original Turbos and he goes to Montano and Colorado a few times a year a year to Elk Hunt. Great video enjoyed it and your humor too!

      That's awesome! It's been a good truck to me. Like anything mass produced, some are going to have some issues. Turbo's don't really scare me overall, poorly maintained turbos scare me a lot. Thank you for watching and for the comment! Wanting to make a cool video tonight comparing my 13 in this video to a 23 we have on the lot.

      You should isolate it with the 5.0 and the over 200k mileage rivals that of the tundra!

    Thanks for the video. Nice to see it is holding up well. Did you find a hill to coast down to get that 18.0 average? LOL I'm retired, and so was the salesman I bought my FX 4 from. He just worked at Ford for something to do. He let me drive his and the mpg indicated 12.7. when I got in it. My truck also averaged 12.7. Never ever higher, and we both drive like a slow poke, And I live in flat north central Florida and drive on highways and country roads. I would hate to see in town mileage. All of my F 350 diesels get the same mileage or a little better.

    • @BadoreksDailys
      @BadoreksDailys  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Haha man 12.7 is way lower than mine. I drive mostly freeway, if I stay 70 or under I see ~18-21. 75+ (around 2,000 RPM’s) it drops to 16-17 or so. Again, that’s 95% freeway, in town is drastically less.
      Last year I went on a hunt in New Mexico (5 hour or so drive) and fully loaded with all gear, my pops and I, and all the time on the highway, hunting, idling, off road, etc. there and back I was 13.2 or 13.7 if I remember correctly. I’ll make a clip on the way home! Do you have the 3.5 or 5.0?
