Materials:
1 piece of 20 gauge square wire, 12 inches long each
24 gauge half-round wire(no need to measure and pre cut, just keep it on the spool and use as needed)
Faceted Stone (mine is 14mm tall teardrop Swarovski Crystal)

😍Beautiful! You make it look so easy..I definitely need more practice because as soon as I start the frame it always looks warped/uneven. It never fails when bending the wires to meet at the top I never gauge the exact spot on each one to place the bend! 🤔...more practice..lol, Thank you for sharing
It can be helpful to bind the 3 base wires together in several spots (not just the very bottom) to keep the frame all nice and together, and then after you bend it around the stone and connect you can just remove the extra bindings

This particular one is a Swarovski and is mirrored on the back, but this design will work also with natural stones.

Yes I think it will, depending on how much larger it is you may have to use thicker wire

If you google you'll find some pricing calculators that can help you, they make you input the cost of the materials and the hourly wage you want to pay yourself, etc. And they will help you calculate what price you should be charging
Do you love these Swanstrom pliers & cutters as much as your Xuron pliers? I have the larger Swanstrom but thinking about getting the chain nose & round nose in the ones you’ve used here.

I love this and I love copper, but how do you keep it clean?
Copper naturally darkens quickly so you can soak it in something acidic like ketchup to clean. I actually darken it on purpose for an antique look
Love this design, but don't have any faceted stones. Would a regular teardrop work for this design? If not, do you have any tutorials using a teardrop and square wire that make a similar design? Thanks! ❣
Unfortunately you need that point on the back that faceted stones have to work for this. I don't have any teardrop tutorials that are super similar, but I'll try to come up with something for a future tutorial.

Nice! Question-on this pendant and the other tutorial you released around the same time, you used a 14mm teardrop stone. What is the maximum size stone that can be used with both of these designs, with 20gauge square wire? Could you use this wrap with, say, a 25mm or 30mm stone?
I haven't tried other sizes, but I'm thinking 25mm should work fine
I have a round 10-carat ? Citrine I want to wrap - could this be adapted to a round stone?

i usually buy wire from parawire but the don't seem to have the square and half rounds in the guages you use. I find that odd. lol
Looks like they only sell 21 or 18 for the square and half-round, if you are making a small pendant like this I'd go for the 21
