Slight correction for those not into suspense/not knowing:
Type 1 Alternates--Look like you, someone you know, someone you know who has died. Minor changes in clothes, hairstyle and attitude. Mainly detected through changes in or absence of voice.
Type 2 Alternates--Similar to Type 1 but with distorted anatomy or features. Limbs or features can seem larger or smaller or otherwise out of proportion.
Type 3 Alternates--Barely humanoid, these Alternates often have impossible anatomy, missing anatomy or anatomy that's been substituted for something *entirely alien.* Note that as the numbers rise, so too does their ability to inflict fear and/or emotional disturbance upon others.
In any case remember that a distorted or absent voice from someone familiar is your first cue to get the hell out of Dodge. Flee whenever possible, and if you have to fight them, shooting them with *guns* and *bullets* will work for at least the first two types.
type 4 alternates: alternates that come into existence when children watch "the might of the subconcsious" short on television thinking of a friend to create in their head but summoning an alternate into their home
scrapped type of alternate: mimic
these alternates take form of inanimate objects and can only be detected by audible breathing

I love that you decided to combine two of my favorite things: The Mandela catalog and EAS scenarios
However, I do have a few criticisms.
1. I think there should be more of a build up, and that it shouldn't have started with immediate sirens
2. I think teh government should try to keep it as much of a secret as possible, and try to make up stories about why people are going missing in order to keep the truth from the public.
3. I think there should be more editing to make it look more old and much more like an old analog television, to fit with the overall analog horror theme.
Other than that, I had a great time with this Scenario! I hope to see more of this content, keep up the good work buddy!

The Mandela Catalogue series does take place around the 80’s or 90’s.

This is the best eas I've seen in a while. It's subtly creepy with the general eas things until you get to the hacking bit near the end. I near shitted myself well done

I like the detail because the system doesnt recognize the USDTP, probably because they have been secret for a long time and never addressed alerts.
i love the "decryption" screens- such a small thing but makes a HUGE difference. i've never seen anyone else do that!
The Mandela Catalouge is my favorite ARG and i absolutely love EAS scenarios like this and combining them...

If anyone was paying attention, you probably noticed at 9:51, it said that the warning was effective until 1/1/2000. I bet all of this is connected to Y2K
@warden4775 Y2K means Year 2000, so way back in the 20th century when computers were new, computers only used 2 digits like 10 to 99, they didn’t use double digit 0 but when it was 1999, the year 2000 was very close and computers didn’t use the number 0 and if they use double digit 0 like 1/1/00 there would be problems such as computer errors and bugs and nuclear missiles would be launched accidentally due to computer errors and causing the apocalypse but luckily it never happened

Ooo, two of my favorite things collide! I love EAS mocks and Mandela Catalogue has quickly become one of my favorite analog horror series around. I’m only 9 minutes in but this is really, really good.

Masterpiece! I loved how the lore kind of was mysterious and the sirens really made me feel eerie. One suggestion I have is that the signal should be fuzzy because of damaged television lines. I loved this!

Intruder does look scary though (and for some reason I am really scared as if something is lurking in my room) edit :- turning of captions now made my fear less and laughter more.
This EAS is basically Gate, Japan Summons, and each and every fanfic of those 2 stories I've read in Wattpad, Novel Hub, and Scribble Hub.

This is my favorite type of horror. It's not gory for the sake of shock. It's deeply unsettling and it's just words and sounds. That's talent and it's also why this video is my favorite EAS scenario ever.

The Alarm-Signals are a real pain in the Arse. The urge to smash your Radio would cost more lives by lack of information than the Scenario itself 😅

Honestly from the way the thumbnail looked I though this was inspired by the monument method which is an older analog horror serious revolving around an Alternate Universe’s history becoming entangled with ours and Eldridge Beings

Those sirens at the beginning are for air raids only. Proper use would include a long, slow blast rather than an oscillating pattern. Otherwise great storytelling and excellent pacing.
I might be wrong, but that type of siren was used by the British during WW2 to warn citizens of German bomber planes.

I tend to use sirens pretty wrong, I use them more for the feeling of dread and storytelling. And sometimes I use them right like in my nuclear simulation and in Tropical Disaster.
