As a space nerd I have to point out that any kind of nuclear missile is nowhere near powerful enough to get to the sun, never mind on a direct trajectory without gravity assists. And they certainly can’t reach speeds to get to the sun in three hours. And anything getting in the way would have to already be on a collision course with earth to impact, but if we do get surprised by a potential impact, it would be from the sun, so that part is fine. But as a scenario, it’s absolutely amazing
this may be a stretch but considering we know the sun wont die for a LONG time, maybe this is in a future where nukes can do that? idk, like you said, it's fun either way
It definitely was made more to be Scientifically Acurate in the sense that we used actually potentially habitable planets as locations while ensuring everything else isn't that realistic, as to make it more "Fun" than "Accurate"
the missiles could get there if given a proper trajectory. but even if they burned the whole way (which they cant), a three hour turn around is laughable. "it's x miles by x miles by x miles and it's going 600mph and its 1100 miles away." Okay, so visible to the eye, and on the ground in 20 minutes? "The one on the moon is jamming communications within 50 miles of the moon surface" okay, so if you imagine the moon is a baseball, cover it with lotion - that location is the jamming area relative to the moon. "We lost track of the object because it got within 5 miles of the sun" yeah you really should have lost track of it way before that... im about 30 min into this and i feel like it was made by a flat earther.
i have one single criticism - mostly because i have absolutely nothing to criticize in this whole thing. NASA stands for National Aeronautics Space Administration, not agency. this concludes my only criticism.
It is because of the Grey area of legality in the true EAS USA Tones. They if transmitted can land a transmitter and creator in horrible debt and legal jeopardy. Plus the Japan Tones are different than the bland overused US EAS tones!
@@YXProductionsLLC No, the creator wouldn't be held responsible. The broadcaster would. Especially when you put the disclaimer as you do. You're more than safe to use US eas tones

...hey, anyone wanna go swimming in Death Valley Lake? A tsunami that high would make it all the way to Death Valley and flood Death Valley National Park, resulting in a large, very deep (as much as 2000 feet deep!) lake.
7500 foot tsunami thats from 50 miles out heading towards the shore at 55 mph, you would only have about 50-55 minutes before inpact at the shore to evacuate 60+ miles, realistically speaking the announcement should be anyone more than 40 miles from the coast should evacuate, anyone within 40 miles, its too late to evacuate now
Dude, I am so hyped for this. I just found this channel and oh my god you have quality content. I’m also going to upload my own eas scenario tomorrow or today so could you check it out?

@@KuroKazama That... isn't exactly right. Many EAS scenarios use a legit USA sound. Either with a warning to basically not be stupid or not. It's a creative choice here. Not a legal one. Or else every other scenario wouldn't be using the legit USA sound. Besides, I would also assume playing a J-Alert over the air in Japan is illegal. Given how it could easily cause a panic, much like misusing the EAS sound here.
First of all the sun is 93 million miles away so how would nuclear explosion near enough to earth to to cause radio on tbe surface wouldnt do anything to restart the sun if that is even possible. I find this whole not possible.

this was amazing!!! i really enjoyed it, i look forward to the next part being released!!:)
Okay, the twist taken from Florence to Trappist is the best.
I like how the EAS was replaced with tones from J-Alert
I was surprised by that.
Me like! This is not Japanese, this is USA 🇺🇸
Theres a difference. The one that was played is japans earthquake alert. The j alert is for things like nuclear attacks in japan

Crap, I didn't even notice I made that error until you mentioned it! Thank you so much for pointing it out, and that is on me. - Exima
@@YXProductionsLLC YOU USED THE WRONG EAS ALARM FOR THE USA, YOU USED THE JAPAN EAS ALARM NOT THE USA ALARM
I was not expecting this to take the turn it took! Nice!
One year later, and it still impresses me how quickly it escalates.

Yessss
the fact that they used japanese EAS tones-
It's fine, we can use CaseOh as a substitute, right?

It's so we don't set off the actual American EAS.

It's actually a lot more difficult to set off the J-Alert System.

🤓
Maybe since space has no atmosphere the missiles wouldn't stop and hit the sun?
