How long should the battery be unplugged to avoid damaging the airbag?
Hey Justin I’m loving the carbon look and all the other mods you’ve done! I’m wondering if you could give any advice about the exhaust mods you’ve done. I’ve got the same car and currently have a K&N cold air intake and a cat/rez delete. It sounds amazing with the intake sounds but I definitely think the exhaust could be slightly louder. Has your XForce system gotten any louder now that it’s broken in? What are your thoughts about straight piping?
I do not like straight piped vehicle 99% of the time as I believe they are too loud. With many cars, you loose some of the character of the sound as well. I liked the Veloster N axleback more than the Varex and I plan on reinstalling it whenever I get it fixed. The Varex definitely seems a little different sounding now but I wouldn't say overly louder (From the inside). For these cars, I seem to prefer muffler deletes (or my VN axleback) for the sound/volume.
Yooo did you get your Elantra through Hyundai. I want to do some mods to my GT sport but don’t know about if it will mess up my warranty’s? Love the channel man.
Much appreciated man. I bought the car through a Hyundai dealer, yes. It is in no way sponsored by Hyundai. Warranty is tricky because dealers vary greatly when it comes to this. A good rule of thumb is that whatever part you are replacing, will likely no longer be covered along with anything directly related to it with some exceptions like intakes should not cause you problems with the engine warranty. For example, when my midpipe weld failed, I had the Veloster N axleback installed and they wouldn't cover the midpipe under warranty because they said it could have caused it to fail. It actually failed on several other cars bone stock but I see their point.
Both. I like that you can engage manual shifting just by pulling a paddle. My only gripe is how fast it returns to "auto" after not using the paddle for a few seconds. Of course if you shift the gear level over it stays in manual mode.

nice video bro. how did you get the cable out of the shifter module? i cant seem to get mine out, feels like they are clippedd somewhere?
I believe there is a small clip for the wiring. I don't remember exactly but it wasn't too bad but it may be stiff on the first try.
