Good afternoon I’ll be totally honest ......depends what your after ...I sold my dc 250 to fund the new cutter .....however I’ve just purchased another dc250 because it’s just such a good saw..I’ve used the saw since November and here goes....I’ll compare it to the rubi so you have a idea....I save roughly 7 hrs a week just from setting and packing away ...it’s so easy and saves a lot of time ....i also save a huge amount of time walking in and out ...it can go in a room with you as it’s a lot smaller.......it cuts 85%dust free except on plunge cuts as the vacuum then doesn’t work 100% percent effective....the blade stays cool and gets better when worn in ...it’s expensive but I don’t think I could live without it now I have it ....I find it makes my life easier ...it’s bang on straight on my second blade BUT I have done 7 ,30 sqm2 porcelain bathrooms and more with a blade ...£93 a blade ...one down side you can only rip a 300mm cut as it’s a side arm not a table ..so on that note what would you mainly be cutting and tile size ??? It’s a great bit of kit built well and takes up less space. Great for indoor even cutting slate ...going to be cutting some limestone indoors so maybe wait for that video too then I’ve covered all aspects of tiles. Hope this helps a bit
