what ive noticed w/ this breed is they seem very keen, almost dialed up in the ability to focus on human commands. poodles are very observant dogs and eager to gain from that attention. truly a misunderstood and underrated breed of dog.
It is the smartest dog in the world, Border collie and poodles are the smartest dogs. There are intellect dog charts and these two are leading intellectual dogs.

Toy poodles are great; my sister had one and it was very smart and hilarious. They have a great sense of humor. It lived for 17 years and brought joy to the family.

The poodle noodle song
the poodle in this video is currently 4 years old. she was 3 when we made the video. she currently weighs about 3 1/2 lbs. about the fur, when they are puppies their fur is so soft and fluffy like feathers or silk but when as they get older they have courser hair that grows in with the softer fur. so they have hair of two textures that grow together. the coat is high maintenance although they don't shed.
You've done a really great job training her, and she's a really beautiful Toy Poodle too!
This poodle loves learning and performing tricks. I have another poodle as well and he doesn't care to earn any treats by doing tricks. He just wants to cuddle. If you want to train your dog to do any special tricks just be persistant. 15 mins a day or so and they will catch on sooner or later.

Years ago, while out walking my dogs, I came across a couple walking their two Pomeranians. One of them was clearly "daddy's" dog. That dog kept his full attentions on the guy. Living in Denver, we have a rivalry with the Oakland Raiders. He would look down and say to the dog that had his full attention, "Would you root for the Raiders or would you rather be dead?" The Pomeranian would then roll on his back and play dead.

Poodles are some of the easiest dogs in the world to train. My standard puppy is so easy to train it's amazing. (there are some vids on my channel.) And in my experience, they're hard to find in rescues and shelters, at least in my area. But if you can rescue a dog, rather than getting one from a breeder, then I'd say go for it! But be careful picking a poodle breeder. There are some really good ones and some really not so good ones out there. Look for health testing. OFA certification on hips,
I have a toy poodle and she can sit, shake, play dead on command, stand up, lay down and high five, but she doesnt do it straight away. And when i say bang she slowly lays down and rolls over onto her back. I am trying to teach her to do the tricks quicker, but she doesnt really listen. How do you tech ur poodle to handstand, because my dog does a handstand naturally when she wees sometimes but i cant get her to do it on command. Please give me advice and some help on how to get her to respond.
is that ur poodle? very smart. i just recently rescued a 5 month old poodle myself and am getting poisoned. so might end up keeping him instead of rehoming. he's been kept in a small cage for a very long time, so now he'll usualyl lay down after a few steps. not used to large areas. seems to be picking up tricks a little slow. would u think he'll improve? i have a pap and a maltese myself, and this is the first time i'm seeing a pup picking up so slowly, and just a little worried

He's never done that unless someone was pissing him off, but he nip my neighbors ankle and left a bruise. He nipped the mailmans ankle too, that left a bruise too even though he didnt even say ow. Will the video stop that too?

She is wonderful! You did a great job with her. How old is she? She looks the same size as my male poodle. He is 3lbs. and 2 years old. He knows lots of tricks but I never thought about teaching him musical instruments!!
Toy Poodles are the best. My best friend has a Toy Poodle and he's my real bff. When I come over to watch tv he puts his paw on my lap and expects me to pet him (which I do of course). He's got my wrapped around his paw.

I have a standard and a toy, the toy is a rescue dog and she is quite old so she doesnt really do tricks but im training the big 1 for agility

Thats too young, Inji was 1 year old when she learned most of her tricks. Leo is a male and he is a slower learner than inji
