That is the cutest little thing. Nice healthy and happy. I wish all groomers would be that careful not to scare and rush the job. I know they have schedules to keep, but when you are grooming a little baby like that, you have to go extra easy to not scare and possibly change what the perfect temperament these guys have. Getting a standard poodle after having shepherd’s all my life, changed my life and they are my favorite breed now. Good job grooming that baby. ✌️👍🇺🇸

Whoever let that dog get like that should be ashamed of themselves. That has got to be so uncomfortable for that dog and there's no need in it if people would just brush the dog. Lazy people cannot have a dog that requires a lot of grooming because it takes a lot of work to maintain their coat. I believe it truly is a form of dog abuse because that dog is miserable and that dog depends on the human to take care of him and it's being neglected. Thank you to the groomer who did such a great job and made him feel so much better❤
Its uncomfortable :( sadly,poodles are a popular breed and people dont know how to properly take care of their hair. Its not easy to maintain it. I used to have a cocker spaniel and her fur was SO different. Actually,I think that dogs have fur but poodles have hair, the structure is different, they dont lose hair like other breeds. I remember having only one brush and a shampoo with for my cocker,and that was enough. But with my poodle... I have a shampoo,a conditioner, a detangler oil, a comb and three different types of brushes 😆 And Im a lazy person! But my dog is my responsability. Also,she was adopted,and when I went to pick her up,she was in such a bad state. Her vet told me "thank god you pick her because otherwise she would have infection or dermatitis" 🥺

Eu e a dona sabemos que ele fica muito estressado para tosar. Mas, infelizmente, tosar é a melhor opção para ele. Tentamos fazê-lo o mais rápido possível. São 10 minutos na parte do corpo. Ele ainda sempre me deixa tosar o seu rosto com a tesoura. A dona do Fred é muito cuidadosa, ela tem outros dois ou três gatos que deixam ela escovar os seus pelos, então por isto ela nunca os trouxe para tosar. Ela sempre traz apenas o Fred, que tem este comportamento diferente. Ela conversa e dá muito carinho para o Fred e é gentil com ele durante todo a tosa. Ela ama muito seu gato, um dos maiores amores entre donos e gatos que conheço. Infelizmente o Fred não é muito comportado, ele não deixa ela colocar a focinheira, ele morde a dona. Tentamos usar também outra focinheira, a mais aberta, mas Fred morde todo mundo e muitas vezes fica tentando tirar a focinheira com golpes das patas e acaba se machucando. Nestes casos, quando o gato se comporta assim, ter esta proteção mais fechada ajuda a tosa a ficar mais segura, pois nem o tosador, nem o gato se machucam e a tosa bebe consegue ser feita em bem menos tempo.
I have the same exact dog. The people that gave us the dog say that it's a poodle. But my mom and dad know pretty well about dogs(especially my dad) so they said that my dog is not a poodle and that is a bishon. And now I think that it's something mixed with a poodle and a bishon
He looks 100% like my white dog, who I also thought was a bichon frise when I first got him, but the vet thinks he’s a maltipoo (Maltese poodle mix) 🤷🏻♀️ they all tend to look similar to each other.

This isn't "Grooming"....it's "shaving". I love the long, curly coated look. My min-poo is very curly.....regular body-afro, and I love the look. I can't stand that look for the head and muzzle....he's not a Bishion. My groomer would keep doing it, and I would adjust it myself when I got him home.....finally I said enough. I'm not paying her 4 something I don't like and have to re-do so I bought my own clippers, and the rest as they say, is history.
