if you maintain any vehicle it will serve you well. most Landrover owners never even open up the hood let alone do any maintenance. i had a 2008 Rangerover and had it all the way until 2021 with no issues. they make driving fun and getting from point A to be B in total comfort.
Lease only! They have lots of maintenance issues. That being said, Range Rover is my favorite SUV. It’s so classy! Understated luxury! Not ostentatious, like other luxury brands.

But why must they cut costs by removing the physical dials? Now you have to move your eyes from the road and look at the screen even just when you wna change the temperature? This is just sad.
I have had 3 RR…2000 Holland & Holland…bought with 90 miles…ran it to 280,000 miles…2007 HSE…just gave that away with 384,000 miles…purchased with 120,000 miles…only problem transmission sticking a bit at give away and now have 2009 Supercharged… running fine at 175,000… if you service them they last forever… only certain years
I have a Range Rover Sport, as far as the front arm rests…They work great for long road trips. You don’t have to lean over as far to put your arm on it and set them up at higher angle to lean to your left rather than right ….
The added “”arm rest” that you don’t know why it’s there is for off road driving over rough terrain….one hand on steering wheel and other on the raised and secured arm/hand control. When driving over rocky, ruts in the ground, etc…you are more secure in that position than with both hands on wheel.
Range Rover nailed it, best full size SUV. I have started to save some cash and will definitely buy one. Great review, but I will only ask you retract your junk on the stationary step board.

Interior wise again, the Rover wins with subdued elegance and minimalism. Tech and drive wise, the Maybach puts up a m much tougher fight. The Maybach has a fancier suspension thats like riding on a magic carpet. Joe, it's "my-bach", not "may-back.
I was told at the dealer it was due to the Panoramic Sunroof and it interfered with both the cellular and satnav connections, so two antennas were the solution.
When I think Range Rover, I think unreliable, instantly depreciating hunk of junk. In any event, excellent video Joe, it isn't easy to put lipstick on a pig, but you pulled it off.
I agree. Most people that are impressed with rovers never looked underneath to see the overusage of plastic parts. They suffer bad engineering and instead of fixing their issues the company keeps mass producing rovers.

Had 6 Rovers, from 2010 to 2020, lost money on each one on trade ins, under mileage and ahead on payments over two years. They don’t hold value at all. Been in BMW X5M competitions since, made money on two trading lease in for newer models. BMW M cars are the best driving SUV machines on the road. The actual ultimate driving experience is BMW.

My thought on the armrests is so you can always have the utmost in luxury, like when the center console is open, you'll still have an armrest.
