Nice video. I’m thinking about buying the same model in the same colour. Your video is one of the only videos I’ve found that shows off this colour. It looks pretty nice. I think the dark green and yellow of the pro model looks better but I don’t want to spend that much. How do you feel about the grey colour?
How would you like this bike for just pedaling days? I’m trying to figure out if it pedals better than the regular stumpy. If so. How much better? Epic 8 evo better? Need to know just how good the genie is. I have access to a 2023 stumpy pro for cheap and it’s hard to decide without having both available to ride
I'm 5'11" and ride the S4 Stumpjumper. Your local bike shop should be able to fit you. They let me demo the next size down and the next size up, but the S4 felt perfect to me.
I agree! Who is the customer for this bike? I am in my early 50’s and could afford a 5k - 7k bike but at what cost to other uses for that money? Considering in 2 years (or less) the industry will be pushing me to upgrade. That being said bike looks amazing and I went straight to the site to check it out (laughed when I saw the price points).
Hats off to people who can afford to complain on TH-cam 😂. Bikes have been priced like this for coming on a decade. Where have you been? To be clear, I don't agree with it. Just stating the facts. The fact is the suspension components on these bikes are literally more sophisticated and more engineered than on a motorbike. Making something that is light enough to pedal, stout enough to survive, and performs at a high level is a lot harder when your trying to make something around 30 lbs instead of hundreds.
Wow... Beaut review.... Nice riding👊
Thank you! 🙏
What is that under the top tube by the Spezialized logo?
GPS anti Theft device?
Great video! Amazing bike, new rear shock technollogy wooow and you are so skilled and knowlegeable. YEAH! Thanks for the video!
Thank you!
I still have my 1993 Stumpjumper M.2, Hardtail with rigid fork. Still an awesome bike. Thanks for the review Anneke I will check it out.
That is awesome! Make sure to hold on to that one!!
Nice review👍
Not a Stumpy guy myself but the bike looks great .
Thanks!
what dont you like about them?
@@bermchasin haven’t had one, I just don’t like it the same as I don’t like a BMW.👍
Lol I have a stumpy and a BMW
I ride a 2019 Stumpy ST. Still a treat to ride. I'm going to miss the sidearm on the new frame but I know some couldn't stand the asymmetry.
I do like the clean looks of it!
You can only go as fast as you can stop. Those Maven bikes are awesome.
They are awesome!

Really sweet ride. I was wondering what the weight is? Sram transmission and breaks are awesome.
Looks so simple, yet I imagine effective !!

Will be interested to see if it's as good as the last SJ on more XCish trails and as good as the SJ EVO going downhill
So far Ive been really impressed with the pedal performance uphill and how light this bikes feels!
Love the sram transmission. I was wondering what the weight of your stumpy is?
Hey can I ask how tall are you and what would you recommend for a 5’11 /180cm dude looking for a blanced/nimble rig?

My only question is do i need a loan from the bank to get one?
Cool❤
Thanks!
You really always rode 29ers? Even in 4x racing? I thought those bikes had 26" wheels? What about in enduro?
❤
ya but not spending 6k on a bike
Hats off to the people who can afford 5500 to 12k for a bike.

I can’t afford this bike but I’m saving very penny to get this bike!
