There were some skaters where i lived that wore DC and actually skated, but never those. The only people who wore those specific ones where i grew up were the females and the posers. I used to get a lot of circa and emerica, at one point i would just buy the same circas over and over again for like almost 2 years cause they were so comfortable to skate in and seemed like they didn't rip as fast.
I remember one time a kid (bless his heart) with a lisp asked me “do u thkate?” Cause I was wearing DCs. Of course my answer was exactly like this man’s lol. 😂❤
I wore dcs all through elementary/ middle school and always got made fun of for the puffy tongue, not even 3 years later everyone at my school wears them lol

My first skate shoes that I tore up skating was some black dc courts with tan Stitching as the letters
