Hi dualblane5256, enjoy using your OnePlus Buds Pro 3! I'm curious about your thoughts on them. How is the maximum volume? I have hearing loss, so I'm looking for headphones with a high decibel output. Compared to AirPods Pro, is the volume output of OnePlus Buds Pro 3 higher or lower?
*UPDATE* I might've misspoke on the Onepluse case being IPX4 water resistant. On launch day, Oneplus listed the case as being IPX4, but it looks like they've removed that from the spec sheet.

Im so confused by these mic tests on the galaxy buds 3 pro. I have a pair and its the best mics along with the freebuds pro 3 for me - cancelling out alot of background noise. If your galaxy buds are not cancelling the background noise during calls then its likely its faulty.

It's because that feature is during calls, he's just recording live off it. Needs to use an app that simulates calls

As someone who likes items to be one color or black, that reflective chrome like a mirror is a deal breaker. I can't imagine myself wearing it in the sun. It will become a light party in my ears.

I don't think you had the ANC on the Galaxy's for the mic test. They had background noise where the 1plus was silent!!😮
It was similar results on the test by Aaron is loud and Wirless.... The budget OnePlus 3 mic test won over the Galaxy buds 3 pro
Not trying to be the villain here but I'm not sold on the microphone test. I've watched countless reviews on the galaxy buds 3 pro and they all sounded better than what I heard in yours. I'm pretty sure you have a defective unit. Try getting another pair or even 2 to make further comparisons or just return the one you have for another. This is important because you could be swaying someone's purchase decision off misinformation.
I hear you bro. It's possible they're defective. Personally I don't think are because they sound the exact same as the Buds 2 pro that I had for years. At this point, If they are defective that's on Samsung not me lol. I'm definitely not spending $500 on top of what I already spent to see if that's the case.
well, to be fair, along with what you said, there are many factors that could influence the mic test. Noise level is an obvious one, but even firmware version could be causing the difference. I've been watching a ton of videos on the Galaxy buds 3 pro as I'm upgrading from the original Galaxy buds, and I've noticed from several videos that the mic tests are inconsistent; some sound really good and some sound pretty bad. I'm hoping it's a firmware issue that's happening while Samsung pushes out quiet updates to try to fix issues, as they are also looking in the the quality control issues that have been coming forward (kudos to Samsung for that btw)
Also, I could be wrong on this so don't quote me, but i think the buds need to be connected to a Samsung phone for the mic quality to be fully utilized.

Nah, bro nailed it. The voice commands are really impressive. Not only bypassing the assistant but how there's like no noticeable lag. I do imagine that feature, along with all the other siren detection & ambient levels, does take a toll on the battery. So it's nice to have that feature while still having a respectable battery life.
What's with the mics on this galaxy buds 3 pro unit? Is it a defective unit or a firmware issue? Cant be that bad for real.

Samsung bud3 pro has a planar magnetic driver for the highs that’s the reason of its more clarity
There are many reasons why would someone pick up one or another. I had the chance to test both the 1+ and the galaxy buds. While both had decent-good call quality (in comparison for example with the airpods pro 2), if this is a priority for you, the galaxy ones did a minor better job in my opinion, they sounded a bit “cleaner” but not a game changer tbh. On the sound itself, it is a matter of preference, samsung buds signature sound have always been towards the bright side sound. They sounded great in acoustics, vocals, and mid-high frecuency sounds in general. On the other side, the oneplus are more v-shaped, more bassy, yet neutral. I prefered the oneplus solely because of the sound , but that’s just my personal preference. Other people may have different priorities when it comes to tws earbuds, said like anc, transparency mode, call quality, comfort, etc, as I’ve said before.
When you did the microphone test, does it tell the call quality or do you get similar noise reduction, when you record audio using any app?

Brother Good vídeo but in the end was a bit confusing coz you had the nose cancelation turned on for the oneplus and turned off for the Samsung in the microphone quality test. 😅

I'm not sure what you mean. I've never seen earbuds that have noise cancelation controls specifically for the microphones.
Yeah, something is really wrong with your Samsung buds or settings. They are dead silent when talking a call in a noizy enviroment.
Ppl keep saying that, but I compared them to my galaxy buds 2 pro and they both sounded the exact same. I highly doubt they're both faulty. As far as settings, i've done every microphone test the exact same For the past five years lol. I haven't found any settings in the app dedicated to the microphones so I don't know what settings everyone is referring to lol.
Try making a reset of the buds and do the diagnostik mic test in a noizy place to confirm IF they perform better. @@CEONTHEMAKING
I spent about 95 bucks on the Buds3 Pro from samsung. I used a Honey coupon on pre-order and traded in my old Buds2 Pro's. Well worth it in my circumstances. This may not be the case for everyone, tho, so I can see why someone would want the OnePlus buds.
Thank you the voice control on the Samsung is amazing. I wish Galaxy Buds Pro 3 would have that design around the ear rubber for a better fit, and they should have made a black pair. I've never wore anything other than black earbuds. These gray do look fancy but I prefer to be lowkey.
1:20 the galaxy buds does have multipoint but only between samsung devices
I have an S23 and tab s8 and the buds is always connected to these two devices simultaneously. The noise control mode and battery level updates on both devices in real time
OnePlus Buds Pro 3 cost me $136.41 total which is $131.09 cheaper than the Samsung Galaxy Buds. It is an easy decision.

Ive had issues with OnePlus buds pro 2 and never with the galaxy buds 2 pro now i have the Galaxy buds 3 pro and i can auto notice a big difference. Ill stick with the galaxy buds

I love your videos dude. Very informative without trying to bash other products just because you prefer a specific type. I think I'm going to grab me a pair of Galaxy Buds 3 as a backup or to have at work. I have the Bose QuietComfort II and Bose QuietComfort Ultra as my primary because I love that deep bass vibe.
Better mic and call quality, multi phone connection those are my priorities, I just order the oneplus, thank you for the comparison.

I got the nothing ears, bother versions 3 times at different points in their release. Every single time they had bud to bud desync issues and wouldn't change a at the same rate. That's 9 attempts.
I simply don't think I can trust this mans ability to deliver a product, unless I've heard down the line they don't have the same issues.

There is no need to switch to either earbud. Your OP Buds Pro 2 are just fine. They should last you another 2 years before anything breaks down.

Has there been any possible updates on the Mics for the Galaxy buds 3 pro? The voice is clearer but it is super low compared to the OnePlus, so I don't know if they're going to fix that with a software update.

I can't believe Samsung still doesn't offer true multipoint connection. That coupled with the fact that Samsung threw up the white flag and copied Apple's stem-style instead of sticking to their traditional design with exceptional fitment. Imo Samsung took a full step backward with this latest release.

You do know your tests of the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro are all inaccurate right? you need to use an app that simulates calls in order for the buds 3 pro to perform how it should!

Design wise the OnePlus takes it easy. I have a OnePlus phone so the choice is also easy but if i had a Samsung I'd get the Galaxy buds. So i guess the way they market these is pretty effective. Thank you for the comparison i always look forward to seeing these episodes. 💯🙏🇺🇸
