We need a video on best performance for a 5x5. Not price worries just absolute best performance. Even spectrum 660+730, tuneable spectrum perhaps. Hi Dwayne. This one is just not the light for a 5x5. I would recommend checking out the Medic Grow Smart 8 and the Mars Hydro FC-E8000. There are reviews up on youtube for both of them.
Thank you for testing these grow light's efficiencies so that the costomer has a much better idea of what to expect

For anyone else watching I got seedlings at 24 inches set 20% (250-300 PPFD) power and they're loving it. Wouldn't suggest using the Spider Farmer recommendations on hanging height and intensity. Definitely check your own PPFD with this one!

Spider Farmer is my first choice for lights
Man I couldn’t give less of a F about the way it looks value and performance is always the important thing F a bunch of lipstick and blush. These lights kick ass witnessed first hand. So do I care that it’s not some pretty but fragile looking array fixture. No one bit function first F pretty!
im literally choosing between this or the viparscetra ks3000 and i dont really know which one to choose lol its a tough choice. this one has 2 more led bars, is 2in bigger on xy axis, ir leds and uv leds. the viparspectra is only 4 led bars but the both have good efficiency and good spread

Hi migro, wondering if I can pick your brain, after countless research on lights for my 5x5 with co2 I'm stuck between three lights, the photontek 1000w, the spiderfarmer 1000w, and the mammoth 880, do you have any recommendations?

I've used this light for two grows in a 3'X3' tent, with excellent results. I was curious if it would be powerful enough to move into a 4'X4' tent.
I think I'll try it unless you convince me otherwise. I'm not crazy impressed with those numbers in the 6 inch band around the outside...

Question - Does dimming your LED change the output spectrum? I'm currently at low power/low height to achieve desired PPFD

No dimming the fixture does not change the spectrum, it will change the PPFD reading or output of the light.

Can you start notifying us of the voltage you are using because in USA we use crap 110v but it would be nice to see the difference between their efficiencies and heat output compared using different voltages because it makes a big difference wit some fixtures thank you

this is the old se5000 correct? the new one has deep reds and uv
The new orange one has the same Leds just a change of driver (from Moso to Spider Farmers own) and the new colour style

the new one that the bars snap in rather then have the bolt on mounts has the UV and deep reds

I'm still looking into buying a led but not sure it will save me that much money in energy than running my hps.Whats the lowest amount watts that get pulled from the wall for a decent led to fit a 1.5m squared tent? If it's like 500w I will stick to my hps as the good leds ain't cheap.keep up the good work buddy much respect
600 watt led is equivariant to 1000 watt hps,a 300 watt led is equivalent to 600 watt hps how in the hell woulnt it not be a saving to go into led????

@@TOPCLASSGAMER44 i get it,i had to sell my first 2 harvest,to upgrade from cmh to led,i didnt eat for weeks,and went without,so guess it how much ya willing to give up to upgrade,cuz in the end led will save you money big time from hps in running costs,hps bulbs are like 100 bucks every 6 months,on top of hps power usage for such low micromole light

The wiring looks like the back on an 1980's TV set with video, DVD recorder and electric fire all sharing a 6 point adapter. Surprised at SF for this chaotic and ugly wiring.

It's all the cables of the removable bar type lights just not as clean of a look as others.
